Honor & Glory is a worship band comprised of Kevin Young, Josiah Prince, and Joey West, veteran musicians who are best known as members of the hard rock band Disciple.
The venture into vertically-directed lyrics backed by a melodicism that is right at home in a corporate worship setting might seem surprising on the surface, but it’s a move that makes perfect sense given each of the band members’ histories. All three musicians have put in years of service in local churches and have long been passionate worshippers of God through their music. “Where the mission of Disciple is to reach the unreachable, the vision of Honor & Glory is to create a musical atmosphere where hearts, minds, souls, and voices center on the greatness and wonders of our amazing God through worship,” lead singer Kevin Young explains.

I discovered Disciple at the Ichthus festival in 2009, I must say to see Kevin drop to his knees and pray right there in front of thousands and thousands people while being on stage and then bringing his Bible on stage and reading scripture, it was just a moment that I will never forget. Truly awesome!!!!!
Kevin is awesome. Dude’s been spreading the gospel for well over 20+ years. And he won’t quit. He’s a warrior for Christ. Love this brother.

I like how you guys have this unique sound with Honor and Glory. Like this is very worship sounding but there's something there too that separates you from the traditional mainstream sound nowadays and I love it❤️❤️ It's hard to find a worship band now that doesn't just sound like everything else.

Absolutely. Rock and roll has always been about going against the establishment. Disciple makes good music for us because it goes against the world… like any rock band can… but they bring us to Christ. They’re against the establishment/world in a way that goes beyond mere rock n roll. Which is totally a Jesus thing 😊

This slaps! And the message is so pure. I've been into heavy Christian music for about 15 years and I've never given Disciple a fair shake. I'm really amped about seeing them at WinterJam. Don't hold back guys!! The Church needs heavy bands like you with God-given style and proficiency fuled by the pure Word of God and the unmistakable power of the Holy Spirit! Soli Deo Gloria.

Kevin is such an amazing writer, singer, and inspiration! Disciple had such a positive influence on my son when he was growing up. We got to meet the band which I believe helped my son stay interested in music and continue with the drums. He still plays at our church at 22 years old thanks to these guys. Keep up the good work!

God used your song "Unbroken" to help me hang unto him...i was battling anxiety and other mental issues....demons was attacking me hard in my mind for many yrs
different times i wanted to give up but God kept letting me know he was right by my side during the storm ..."Inside my head, there's a war tonight and still no end in sight" really hit home with me and the hope in the song "Holding unto the words You've spoken, through this fire in the flames im not alone...my hope in You is set in stone" that really got me through
knowing that there is a light..God's light at the end of that dark tunnel...knowing and being reminded that God is able and will overcome...that helped me overcome
i wish more ppl who are battling any kind of mental illness would hear that song because it gives a picture on how it feels while at the same time gives hope that God will pull us through and conquer over it

Honestly my favorite song from Honor and Glory and that really says something because I love the whole album and absolutely cannot pick a favorite song from any Disciple album because they’re all amazing. I love the message of this song in particular because I’ve had my ups and downs with my faith but within the last few years I’ve changed that and am attending church regularly again as well as just last week going on my first mission trip with a group from my church. The message I get in this song fits my life perfectly because I’ve put my full trust in God again and everything’s changed because I followed the path he put me on two years ago when I moved back to my home state. I prayed about it, did it, and had a job at my local hospital almost immediately after several months of unemployment due to COVID. Couldn’t be any happier than where I am now and it’s all thanks to God.

This album has very hefty “Strong Tower” vibes from Kutless, which in my opinion is the best worship/rock album available. Disciple/H&G nailed it with this one. Well done.
My Dad who went to meet Jesus in March of this year would have loved this album. He loved Strong Tower. This was right up his alley. Kinda sad I can’t share this one with him on this earthly plane. Someday though…
This needs an insanely amount of more views… this is TRUE worship, not the regurgitated stuff our churches keep putting out

Chills the first Honor and Glory song I heard, I don't get the chills often from songs but if I do, it is a Worshipful song and I had no idea Honor and Glory was Disciple, unreal! Draw the Line is the song that told me they could and should do rock worship, lyrics was the realest sermon I had heard.
