My husband really loved this song, we'd sing this song together even though we know no Zulu, how funny we sounded!!! Even on his last days, when he couldn't sing, we'd just humm and today, he is no more...
may his soul rest in peace
So very sorry. But you know how deeply he appreciated beauty.
@Stacey Michaels Sounds alot to me like he lives on within you. . . . . . and forever will. Take that as a blessing.
You built some good memories; this song makes me weep not just because of it's words and meaning, but because of it's sheer beauty.

God bless you!
there are songs to amuse us . . .there are songs to elevate us. . .there are songs that can even teach us. . . .but every once in a while comes one like this . . . .which serves to enlighten us. A rare blessing.

This is the most beautiful arrangement of my mother's favourite hymn "Peace Perfect Peace"

You take me back to my childhood years. In primary school, we sang this at morning assembly. And at home I sang it out loud when cleaning the kitchen. Very loud.
"Peace, perfect peace.
In this dark world of sin.
The blood of Jesus
whispers peace within."
God save Africa !

Ukuthula - Peace
Usindiso - Redemption
Ukubonga - Praise
Ukutholwa - Faith
Ukunqoba - Victory
Induduzo - Comfort
This is a Zulu song... so why is the entire choir (other than the leader) white? Js.
+babblingmongoose Is it a problem?
+babblingmongoose There is really nothing wrong with a certain race singing music in a language that is not their own. It's a Gospel song. Music, especially Gospel, has no racial boundaries.
+Aphile Sololo I agree. Music has no racial boundaries. This music is an African spiritual asking for peace, so it has not racial boundaries.
+babblingmongoose They have Soul also!
Us Zulus sing English songs too you know ..
