For people like me who despise the "roll" on the mouse you CAN rebind it. Put the "roll" on A and D and turn on mouse. And don't forget to turn off inverted steering controls in the options for flying vehicles too.
Great video. One of the best ways I found to get comfortable with flying and map knowledge is playing vs the bots in solo mode. Really helped me get good at learning the different weapons and cover points.
Thank you!!! And yeah map knowledge is something that is very important! Knowing where to find cover in certain situations and where to attack... :) I have just not figured a way to give that stuff in a guide as well... comes with time and practise :)
awesome guide bro! I only really have three consistent and amazing bf2042 youtubers in my list who did guides well, and you are certainty one of them! hope you continue to do guides, cheers!
Thank you so much! Really glad it has helped you out :) Even better being in your "good battlefield guides list!" 😍😍😍💥 Im working on getting more time in for this; really enjoy doing this stuff ESPECIALLY if it actually helps! need something specific?😊
@@About9fish a guide on the ELBC-RAM, or the railgun tank? or another possibility would be going over the different LMGs and what they are all good at, if that idea sounds good lemme know! cheers

I play on a flight stick/joystick, and by far THEE hardest thing to do is the circle of death maneuver. it takes so much concentration to do. not to mention you have all these missiles and firepower coming for you to take you down. I can do a slow circle of death, but to execute it smoothly and really quickly to get in and out of it, takes an enormous amount of skill and time to do!

dude it was for sure! Join our discord if you are down, i still need some gunner footage for the new attack helicopter guide and i think you fit the pilot role quite nicely! 🫡😍 been a pleasure fighting you man!
LOL I use the Attack Heli mainly, never use the Heatseekers.. I stick with the TOW... its a big learning curve but you can take down enemy air threats with it, plus the AV rockets kills stealth and nights with 2 to 3 rockets so if you get the hang of leading your shots, there ain't much they can do. And all of this BEFORE the buff they got... now Attack Hellis are the goats
absolutely! this video sadly was made before their buff. New one is in the making! :) TOWS are so damn good! 😍 They are indeed! Attack choppers are so mich fun now, especially in control! :)
people are fast these days 🤣🤣 try to pay attention when your chopper dies... its 1min 30sec from there that its available (for a split second usually lol) just spam tf out of it 🤣
For anyone wanting to do smoother/faster turns in a Stealth Heli or even a nightbird, I recommend using the roll just before yawing/pitching. In order to turn smoothly/more fast, use your rolling, then when yawing/pitching, make sure your thumbstick (or mouse/keyboard) is moving proportional to where your rolling is at.
Yo can anybody find a video on the uttermost basic movement? Like up down left right etc when i fly i either nose dive and die or fly backwards and die
hmm im sure you'll get it down! It just takes time :) Maybe try heavier choppers first (they are less rensponsive/nimble) but to start out that can be a good thing, because they are more forgiving if you overdo certain movements :)
i will! :) we just reached 200 members on discord as well! 😊🫡 but still unsure rather i want to do "the ultimate passenger guide" or "the ultimate tank guide" first 😊 Thank you so much!
hmm id say it really depends. i started on xbox way back... and i dont want to loose years of muscle memory in choppers... might be better to do k&m for precision, but tbh i never really bothered :)
i feel like my mouse movement is just so bad i feel like i cant tell my heli where to go i cant keep my crosshair on a target while moving cant circle strafe at all ima keep practicing tho any tips?
overdo the drills at the end! until they are just boring af! once the circle of death bores you to death you are ready :) spice things up with flying through tunnels just to keep it interesting 😊 other than that all you need to schieve is that moment everything just clicks, so you can react on stuff that happens instead of having to think how to move ecc. :) overdo those drills, unlock 20mm and dont focus too much about aiming, prioritise surviving :)
Plus, the below radar part I learned from the new info part on the loading screen. You have to fly 30 meters from the ground, or lower. this helped me a lot while grinding for the flares. Great vid! worthy of a sub.
I am pretty good on controller as a pilot, but the pc pilots have way more control. I play on pc and i tried for hours to get the controls down and just couldnt. Would i be at a major disadvantage on controller?
The worst enemy for a helicopter is indeed a railgun tank. On some maps these bastards can in their base and snipe helicopters all the way across the map
Its hard to practice on bots cause whenever I get close to the ground to practice a circle strafe I get 1-shoted by a AT recoiless every single time
yeah it almost feels like they have aimbot😜
You should be good if you stay 140m above tho :)
This is is relatable
Ik I’m late, but you could make your own portal experience where you change the weapons out, to some different launcher.

2:55 Uuuuhh nice one. Good Guide btw...But i just can`t with the flying mechanics in 2042. Bf4 was better. Staying with Tank or Anti-Tank Play.
hahahaha glad someone noticed 🤣🤣🤣😍 bro in the chopper had trust issues 🤣
Hiya mate! How do I get the heli do I just camp it in respawn screen? Because I've tried 2 games in a row to get one in 128 conquest

Does good pilots play on keyabord?
I have a question: use wasd and arrows, or wasd and mouse?
hmm id say it really depends.

not at all. had an xbox before myself... and am still using the controller for air vehicles 🫡
If they are using rifle aim yes you are at a disadvantage
