Because BF community is a bunch of salty fanboys dedicated to liking one singular game while disregarding everything about other games in the franchise. And Hardline, sadly didn't have much of the core playerbase compared to the rest of the series. Despite the fact that it is a very good game
While I loved battlefield 1 it I feel like customization could have been better even if it took some more liberties for WWI. Also I really hated the robotic voice of the announcer. Wish they used actual people and you could choose or hear the nation you were playing as voiceover. So I guess I didn’t hate it but I do have my issues. Lol
A lot of BF4 players hate it and never played it cause of the setting and how the game played nothing like WWI and was just a glorified WWII game with a skin.
@@robertharris6092 thats weird i feel like ive never encountered a single person who didnt at least think bf1 was an okay game, this is just me but bf1 is by far my favorite FPS of all time bar none with bf4 also in my top 5
@@zukothegoatI'll be the first you've encountered then. A decent chunk of us old hats never clicked with bf1 and I personally think it's a bad game with its aesthetics being its only decent aspect. Not trying to flame, I'm just speaking up for the old playerbase the new generation of battlefield has left behind.
I ain’t gonna lie a Battlefield Korean War would be pretty badass. Prop attack planes with jets? Sidewinder missiles? B52 carpet bombing run? WW2 tech with onset of modern weapons? Add the battlefield 1 carnage with tons of mountains for snipers we would have one hell of a game.
Personally, I'd love to have a Battlefield Cold War trilogy. First Cold War game would be the Korean war as base game followed by DLC expansions of the French indo-china war, the first Arab Israeli war, Suez Crisis and the first Indo-Pakistani war. Second Cold War game would be the Vietnam war as base game followed by DLC expansions of the second Arab Israeli war, second Indo-Pakistani war and maybe some of the colonial wars in Africa. Third Cold War game would culminate into an alt history World War 3 between the US / NATO and the Soviet Union / Warsaw Pact at the very end of the 1980s. DLC expansions would be expanding the war in Europe into other regions such as Scandinavia, Eastern Mediterranean, etc. And maybe even add the Iran-Iraq war. That's my wishlist for the Battlefield franchise.
I don't agree with you about Battlefield 1, but the rest of the video is on point. Battlefield 1 was a masterpiece and we will never get anything like it again from Dice.
@EnterTheFenix what are you talking about? Bf1 was amazing. Bf1 is without any doubt the best bf we've gotten campaign was eh but the multiplayer was the best since bf3 and I'd say it surpasses bf3.
@@EnterTheFenix OK so you have Battlefield 4 it’s great. It’s a fun game sad that they’re shutting down the servers then they made battlefield V it was kind of a shit show. "Oh how does Call of Duty keep selling so well and our Battlefield falls behind??" Bruh because they've been making the same game for a decade and, guess what, that's exactly what the fans want.
Yawn 🥱 i rather play the same game that knows what it is rather than play a game that doesn't lol at least in cod we actually get you know good content 😂 when was the last time you bf fan boys had good content? Isn't this 3 games in a row of having terrible content??? Yet you stupid losers Continue to give EA money. Activision doesn't make us pay 70$ for a game with 7 seasons just to be left with 4 game modes and the only different game mode is tdm with the rest being copies of already popular game modes. second y'all most popular games are literally copy and paste bf4 and bf3 but i understand stupid fan boys like you never want to admit that. Lmfoaooo and if I'm not mistaken i see Alot of ppl say all EA and dice have to do is copy bf3 and bf4 😂 you know the SAME game.
I don't think I've ever seen a cod fan be all that happy about the state of the franchise either, but that might be more of an FPS playerbase thing than anything either specific game has unique to it. Cod does have the advantage that a much faster release time than Battlefield games means players will probably have at least one relatively recent one they like at a given time.
I went back into bf3 a couple years back. I realized I hated that map too much when I played the game before bf4 released. It was my favorite map when I revisited the game
I really miss stuff like that. Metro was one of my most favorite bf3 maps. I remember playing the bf3 beta way back when on the 360 and had a blast. I know people say bf1 is the best battlefield, but i don't those people played bf3 back then. That was great fun and I doubt DICE will ever go back to that style of BF again.
when bf1 came out, it marked a bold departure from the formula that had made Battlefield 3 and 4 such massive successes. they completely changed the setting and era, that fundamentally impacted the gameplay. they weren't like cod, their no.1 competitor at the time, regurgitating the same content year after year they did something different and it absolutely worked. and a minority, of which you are a part of, were not pleased with it because they didn't follow the call of duty format and rehash bf3 and bf4. But they did end up making an objectively better game. a masterclass of a first-person shooter the immersion was immaculate and the grit depicted was the opposite. so I don't get this take at all wherever i hear it, bf3 and 4 were great games but their fanboys never looked past their nostalgia of it to ever enjoy bf1 or praise it, god forbid.
Yeah no, Battlefield 1 is the most overrated game in the franchise and started every bad habit Battlefield has had since. There's nothing immersive about spawning tanks from a menu, it was bad enough that Battlefield 4 removed air fields for planes. Not to mention the game played like a WW2 shooter pretending to be WW1. The actual shooting was awful and made the guns feel inconsistent, especially with crap like the sweet spot mechanic, and the general gameplay feel was weirdly floaty just like V and 2042 are. The changes to Conquest tickets completely messed with the flow of a match and discouraged people from PTFO. Not to mention the actual good things that BF1 did like Operations were just completely dropped in the following games too.
Did you completely ignore the awful vehicle system that spawned from that game along with the streamlining and redundancy of certain classes? When was the last time you legitimately used a repair tool in BF1? When was the last time you didn't skip a revive or ignored teammates because they'd skip a revive? What was so wrong with BF4's revive system that they neutered it with BF1 by making the "rev up" for the syringe useless? Also, do you actually think that planes feel good to use? The progression? The amount of time it takes for you to unlock battle-packs again? BF1's controller sensitivity at 100% being slower than BF4's 80%? There's just a lot of bullshit with this game like balance, mechanics being redundant, and streamlining of the wrong things. Also, for whatever reason, 1 assault guy seems to be useless against an MKV now compared to launch. Not to mention that the problem with BF4's open maps became worse with how sniping was revamped in BF1 by making it stupid easy and giving you a random modifier that seems to be divisive. Yeah, god forbid they criticize both BF4 and 1 for the amount of BS we dealt with during both games' lifecycles like bad balance, bad launches, bad progression, or just inferior systems to predecessors. I like BF4 over 1, but that doesn't mean I won't call out BS like spawn beacons, glitch spots that were never patched out on places like Locker or Outbreak, or the throwaway DLC modes. As far as destruction goes, BF1's map problems stem from unrestricted destruction where major objectives desperately needed natural/indestructible cover to avoid defense standing out in the open like the Italian campaign maps.
@@Guranga93 ya, you’re wrong, the game stepped forward in every conceivable way, everything about that game was done right, it worked right out of the gate on day 1, the atmosphere and audio is a masterclass for the whole industry, the guns were much more realistic, having their own character for each gun that was unavoidable and unmodifiable which promoted skill to use them, it penalized people that mismanaged weapon fire by loosening bullet groupings for panic fire, the vehicles were well balanced, the maps were good (mostly, suez is terrible). The gimmick of behemoths actually did its job and gave the game a reason to rally around a losing match and often makes the gameplay closer than it otherwise would have been but are still defeatable. The classes were well balanced and made sense as well and the teamwork was the best in the series and very much determined the outcome of a match. The smoke and particle effects for fog and dust storms were quite amazing and just put the atmosphere over the top and actually changed gameplay in meaningful ways. I think you didn’t like how the guns fired and gave up before learning the nuances of the game.
I’m pretty sure most if not all of the battlefield community just wants a mash up of bf3 and bf4 weapons and vehicles with bf1 graphics and chaotic atmosphere
Bf died with 5 for me, and if that wasnt enough, 2042 drilled holes and put screws that later managed to cut the screw heads and fuse them with the coffin somehow, droping bf5 was such a huge mistake, after the pacific update it actually felt good, it needed more hard work but well...
Imma agree, after the pacific update for BF5 the game actually felt like a battlefield game. They just messed up very bad at the start and EA saw the game wasn’t doing well so they pulled the plug. BF5 could’ve been a really good battlefield if they didn’t stop so early
the historical inaccuracies in BFV were disrespectful (notably Nordlys, woman in the cover, and for cosmetics purposes) in contrast to BF1 that did the Hollywood representation of WW1 the sake of gameplay.
Then shortly after the Pacific update classic Dice had to ruin what they had with the infamous TTK update making the game more noob-friendly for the kiddies getting the game during the Holidays, and it proceeded to make 90% of the guns unusable.
@@silversteel8998 the Pacific maps made me realize how overlook the movement were in BFV, sliding and the crouch run notably when player silhouette and switching cover to ground cover is vital during assaults.
Battlefield 3 was peak battlefield. It had everything, and vehicles actually took skill to use, the gunplay and mechanics were perfect, it was the perfect blend between arcade and somewhat realistic. To me 3 is what set the standard as to what a battlefield game is supposed to be. Every game after it just felt more and more arcade, and with 2042 it just looks like a generic FPS shooter trying to be what is currently trending. Battlefield lost its soul, man. It will never go back to what it once was no matter how hard they try to recapture its magic, because they’re not even trying to. They’re getting further and further away because they’re going after what sells, not what the core fans of the franchise have been asking for
Please give us a battlefield set in the cold war, it would be so awesome if you had multiple Warsaw Pact and NATO factions with unique weapons and vehicles from that era
A Battlefield game set in an alternative history Cold War world where the Cold War turned hot would be an extremely interesting game to play. Basically, the USSR vs the United States would be the main square off, with their respective allies being the sub factions in more specific maps. The Cold War also spanned a pretty big time period, so you could even play around and have weaponry/tech from the Korean War on one map, weapons and tech from the Vietnam War in the other, etc
@@avery.a5948 just cause a setting sounds generic at a literal sentence description doesn't mean it'll make a bad game, tell me you know nothing about game design without telling me you know nothing about game design, you could say "modern shooter with big maps" and ofc it sounds generic
im proud of when a fanbase is critical of its games and not blindly loyal because if you keep supporting the game regardless of its decline, it gets worse not better and layoffs always follow
I sort of feel like ea is trying to push out the older long time fans to usher in younger fans that are mindless consumers like cod has. That way they can just sell goofy skins and make bank every year because idiots will pay for it
21:25 the reason why Delta Force is so "similar" to BF2042 is because it was made by chinese... so yeah its basically the chinese copy of BF2042, under the name of an old military sim franchiese. I played Delta Force Black Hawk Down Team Sabre and it was a totally different idea of a shooter game, more focused on realism
The Chinese, Koreans and Japanese are the only ones left giving us good games, the west still trying to figure out what a woman is. I am playing Delta Force the moment it drops, Dice can get wrecked.
Delta Force ARE the one who created the "battlefield type game". The only reason why they made simulation it's because they had a contract with the army. It's just a chinese studio who did take the license and make a good game.
@@BeastMaster11-me1nb might as well falsify what ever data they need then. Who's gonna complain? The ccp? And at this point most gamers won't care, the West have stopped making good games because they went full retard. If the Chinese do then yeah it all sucks but it is what it is.
My favorite game is BF4, but I acknowledge BF1 is still an excellent game. I’ve talked about the decline of Battlefield multiple times in the in-game chat. There’s basically a consensus or at least a large majority that the franchise was great up to BF1 and its DLCs. The only people I’ve heard saying BF1 sucks were players who always stay inside vehicles.
If you look at the original reason why DICE decided to make Mirror's Edge, it was because they wanted to branch out from Battlefield and to make something different. That is what DICE needs right now. Take a break from Battlefield, make something completely revolutionary and different like Mirror's Edge, and come back to Battlefield when they actually have an idea. But that will never happen because Battlefield is the cash cow.
@@robsmith6377was about to comment this. BF3 had such a good feel, especially with so many maps built around Rush. It really gave each map its own story
When i heard about that open world campaign, i immediatly thought of the Golf Course campaign map for Bad Company. My favorite campaign map in the franchise. You spawn on one side of a huge golf course, the president mansion is 3km away on the other side. You can take a jeep and rush to the mansion, or attack outposts and towns to find better weapons and gadget. You could even steal tanks of you wanted to. There was even a secret island with powerful loot. It was amazing. As they love their "player choices", this is how its done.
EA is pretty much the Adobe of gaming. If it wasn't enough implementing that half assed rootkit to Battlefield V, they're doing it to Battlefield 1 as well. I hope they don't implement it to Battlefield 4. Allowing a company to have more access to your PC than you have as a base level user is wild. As much as I love the franchise, I have zero hope for the next battlefield.
Honestly, I picked up what EA was putting down and immediately threw it away. I skipped out after 4 and have saved myself a lot of grief that the Battlefield community seems to be constantly dealing with. Sure, nothing's quite like Battlefield but I think that's okay because Battlefield isn't really like Battlefield anymore either.
Battlebit is great. Gunplay is better, recoil is better, destruction is better, class system is better, squad system is better. It's what 2042 should have been, except with a roblox skin that immediately turns most people off.
it feels like you're underselling the aesthetic appeal of battlefield as well i can only speak personally but all of my friends that play battlefield say that their favourite is bf1 because of the aesthetics of the game. you're right in that the general setting of the game doesn't matter, but that only counts if they can nail the vibes of whatever era the game is set in (hence why bfv was hated a lot around launch despite improving upon bf1's gameplay in a lot of ways)

BF1 was pure elation. Everything about the game - the settings, audio and visuals, weapons, vehicle (and horse) gameplay were fantastic. The maps offered something for every type of of gameplay. When a flank worked out there was nothing like it.
I'm at a point of apathy with shooters, but especially large shooters. It just hurts to see all of the AAA space lose its identity becauae Warzone and Apex popped off, so now we have to chase gen Z's parents' credit cards for everything at all times. Everything has to be the next thing, no one can be content with second place because the shareholders won't have it. Unfortunately it just doesn't seem like indie studios are quite up to making Battlefield-scale titles just yet. It'll just have to live on as a memory of a moment in gaming I'm glad I got to be a part of
BF1 is now the most adored game in the franchise by the fans, some months ago the reddit basically decided BF3 and BF1 were the top tier. Also is now one of the most played BF games, lots of people are discovering it now, and its honestly perfect to me, even the campaing from that game is good

Without David Goldfarb there won't be a good Battlefield game, it's as simple as that. He was to the Battlefield franchise what Hideo Kojima was for Metal Gear. Bad Company, Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Battlefield 1. HE was the lead game designer of them all. The only decent thing modern DICE could ever hope to make would be a remaster of the older games. But a sequel? No shot, they simply lack the knowhow and the talent.
Battlefield is an atmospheric game first and foremost. It's not about competition. It's about immersing yourself in a hellish war atmosphere and reveling in the fact that all the wild shit going on, the soldiers screaming, the buildings falling, the mortars whistling overhead, all these cinematic moments you expect from a scripted campaign are all the result of 64 players just playing the game. The phrase "COD is for boys, Battlefield is for men" didn't just refer to the fact that Battlefield had advanced mechanics like destruction while COD didn't, it referred to the fact that COD used it's settings to just simply give context for why you had an M4 rather than a Thompson, while Battlefield fully immersed you in it's setting with intense, visceral audio and visuals that made the player respect the idea of warfare. When you're playing Battlefield 1 and see a mortar blow your buddy to smithereens while their character screams in agony, or in BF3 you hear the soldier next to you scream "I FUCKING CAN'T TAKE THIS SHIT ANYMORE" because of an audio trigger caused by the wall next to you getting blown out by a T90, you chuckle darkly and internally go "damn, I'm glad I'm not there." That's Battlefield. It's not necessarily *mechanically* authentic, it sure as fuck used to be *atmospherically* authentic. And until DICE realizes this, Battlefield will never return to it's former glory. If you're one of these people unironically calling Delta Force a spiritual successor to BF3/4, or someone who hosts those dumb US vs US servers in BF4, you're entirely missing the point.
Bf1 might be in a rough state right now, but no one ever said that it is an objectively bad game. Unless your a historian who dislikes the historical inaccuracy or admittedly forced diversity present, it’s a phenomenal game.
I never liked BF1 because when it was announced I really thought they would change everything to fit being in WWI, but in the end it played just like every other modern era Battlefield

There's one thing I think you're missing: the current state of the game market and industry. We're long past the point where a "flop" is like Battlefield 2042 which still had a decent amount of sales and players on launch. We're in an age of massive flops now, like Concord, Red Fall, Suicide Squad, XDefiant, and numerous other games which were cancelled after a negative reception before it even launched, or was simply discontinued. We, the market, are no longer putting up with the nonsense publishers try to foist on us. If EA tries to pull the same kind of nonsense on us like they did with Battlefield 2042, although there is great potential for it to be even worse, it's going to be a gargantuan flop that very well could jeopardize the existence of the franchise and the studios that made it.
whatever the new battlefield game would be i hope they go all in on military sci fi, add more unique guns the function in extremely different ways from one another, interesting vehicles that shake up the match, go over each and every mechanic and see if they could use some changing or should be left alone.
There’s a lot of false information in the section where The Finals is brought up (15:04), because the community isn’t trying to, and never wanted to, make the game into a battlefield killer. In fact, there was a major controversy within the community when the new “search and destroy”-like mode named Terminal Attack replaced the normal Cashout ranked mode because the community believed it simply didn’t feel like “The Finals” anymore. This is a sentiment the community still heavily subscribes too and labeling them as trying to take the developer’s vision and hijack it to make it more like battlefield is not only misinformation but flat out untrue.
That’s my bad in the wording of it since the most I ever see when it comes to people are RUclipsrs who aren’t The finals RUclipsr but just feature the game on their channel every now and then. Channels like Jackfrags and others like that who when they start playing somewhere in their videos they mention “How doesn’t this game have a conquest mode yet like we’re all waiting for it” and you go to the comment sections of these videos with people all sharing the same sentiment so portraying that info as the finals community as a whole as my fault but that wasn’t the intention just shit wording. Also I’m still waiting for them to take out terminal attack from the comp playlist I’m not playing the game again till then
I used to buy every Battlefield game in the past, those games were THE reason why I kept upgrading my PC. Sadly DICE is DEAD, anyone with any passion and drive to make Battlefield games left. 16:00 One thing we always Loved about Battlefield... is the graphics. So Batlebit can only do so much. In reality we, the players want the WHOLE package. Not only parts of what makes it good...
As a fan of the older Battlefield games, if you want combined arms warfare, try Enlisted. Its got the war thunder flight and tank mechanics(first person vehicles only though), is free to play, has relatively accurate WW2 weapons, grounded infantry combat, individual factions with full tech trees, and is getting regular updates. It does a lot of things right that recent battlefield games have fucked up.
Battlefield needs to scale almost everything back down. Return to medium sized maps with a majority focus on infantry gameplay. Possibly return to 64 player matches. Reduce the number of vehicles and reduce the weapons and gadgets that can destroy them. BFBC2 had helicopters and no stinger missiles. It did have a dart gun that would enable teammates to lock on but required teamwork and skill. The power creep of vehicles going 175 and 2 in a match of seige of shanghai is fun for 2/64 people and as a result you need to balance them by buffing the lock on weapons or nerfing the vehicle weapons. This means the gameplay becomes unfun in a different way. Also make the vehicles persistent in the world, not the new approach of making them spawn points, this is important because it is like a toy in the sandbox that bf should always feel like. Destruction needs to be so impressive that it is truly industry defining. I remember the mind blowing destruction that bfbc2 had at the time it was something we never really saw before. It moved the idea of Battlefield being a sandbox forward that the tools in your toolbox can alter the environment you're playing in to suit your objectives. Next to no destruction in 2042 makes it feel stiff and more like a box full of boulders than a sandbox that is malleable. Ground the setting, uniforms, weapons, and ffs get rid of heroes, kit pickups, and those godawful cosmetics we started to see in BF1. Sit everyone down that is working on bf6, boot up LAN servers and play bfbc2, bf3, bf4, bf1 maybe (it's not the best Battlefield and I can't be convinced that it's not a fundamentally flawed one). Make everyone working on the project become familiar with the gameplay that created the franchise's modern style and the design choices that were made to enable that gameplay. This will take something called passion towards a franchise that may be nonexistent in dice EA anymore. They shit our their "love letter to the fans" and there should be no preorders. I won't play it on launch as I've sat through enough bf launch disasters. But I am hopeful that the former dice LA team can put something more compelling together than DICE Stockholm has been able to, seeing as they turned bf4 from an embarrassing mess and stepback into a great addition to the franchise.

BF3 beta on Operation Metro was insane. Different times back then
I went back into bf3 a couple years back. I realized I hated that map too much when I played the game before bf4 released. It was my favorite map when I revisited the game
I actually really liked metro, it was insane. I liked the bottleneck with both sides trying to overcome the other.
I almost cried thinking about that chill
Memmmberberries
THIS TBH.
Bf1 feels and plays like Battlefront and is a huge step back from the previous games. (The game looked stunning though)

I feel bf5 was dropped to early

If EA tries to pull the same kind of nonsense on us like they did with Battlefield 2042, although there is great potential for it to be even worse, it's going to be a gargantuan flop that very well could jeopardize the existence of the franchise and the studios that made it.
Battlefield 1 was the last great battlefield game. Shit was epic to play during it's prime
whatever the new battlefield game would be i hope they go all in on military sci fi, add more unique guns the function in extremely different ways from one another, interesting vehicles that shake up the match, go over each and every mechanic and see if they could use some changing or should be left alone.
Wait... Next Battlefield? Please no. I don't want my emotions played like this again.
im a simple man.
give me bf3's vehicle and gun physics and im in. Until then i ain't moving from bf3
Please show me one single person who was “disgusted” with BF1. That game was universally beloved.
Where did destructible environments go? I want bad company 2 levels of destruction again.
4 was the peak of envirronmental deatructionn with giant set pieces like 100 story sky scrapers colapsing.
7:26 that image bring so much good memories😢
Also I’m still waiting for them to take out terminal attack from the comp playlist I’m not playing the game again till then
BF1 was my jam for years. Wish i could go back and enjpy it like i did when it came out. What a wild ride. Operations was the best.
When lego?

I used to buy every Battlefield game in the past, those games were THE reason why I kept upgrading my PC. Sadly DICE is DEAD, anyone with any passion and drive to make Battlefield games left. I used to buy Battlefield games for the Battlefield experience, and with every recent release that game identity has been warped more and more away from what it stood for. Say what you want about EA, but they are really consistent at destroying game studios and established franchises.
If there are female characters in BF it's gonna suck. Simple as that.
This is not Unreal Tournament, PUBG o Forntine. Look at BF3, BF4 (MP) and BF1.
Based.
And not exactly wrong either.
The whole "Battlefield has worn so many different hats and come to mean so many things now the community is fractured because they all want different things" is such a BS lie its ridiculous.
They're saying the exact same bullshit they said with bf5 and 2042. That inspires no hope with literally any battlefield fan....
5:09 I can hear this background clip.
Hello from Russia
I want a modern shooter like battlefield 3 and 4 but with the tone and grit of BF1
To all the Kids BF3 was the Epitome of Bf Not BF1
Dear, TK1138
Thank you for sharing with us such a *GREAT* presentation covering what the franchise's situation is in it's current totality. I felt as though more often than not that the images, and words being expressed in this video were just ripped right out of my own consciousness, and mouth; especially when contenplating the thought of all the "Battlefield Killers" we've seen come, and go over the years. It's nice to finally hear a member of the community give the same idea of you, but it's another to unite all the voices into one. You have my trust TK, so I sincerely wish to see more of your perspectives as we progress into the next title. May your light shine into this desperate fanbase - we almost can't fucking win without you.
P.S.: I'd be damned if I ever catch myself playing War Thunder, and actually take it seriously.
They need to play it safe no gay shit
As a BF3 and BF4 vet , hes not wrong. BF1 was a bit arcady. Now the game is super nostalgic with great pre covid game developers.
Ea and dice ruined bf
They always leave behind the best features of each title, reinvent the wheel, and introduce failure gimmicks.
128 players. 6 man squads. Working voip. New and classic maps. Thematic teams. 4 to 5 classes. Stop the auto healing. Let classes depend on each other. Working server chat. Custom community owned servers. No cringy cod cosmetics.
Limited ammo for Vehicles. No self healing Vehicles. BF2142 classes, BF2 squads. BF2 Vehicle style. BF5 squad call-ins. BF3 gunplay. BF2042 player counts and vehicle spawning/customization. BF1 music style and tone. BF5 visual style. BF3 pacing. BF4 server options. Set in a Modern environment. Do something edgey like "American Civil war 2/WW3" with two made-up global faction.
Classes, no specialists. Keep it grounded. No "no pats" make faction identity.
10:32 yeah bro people really “Hated” bf1. You know one of the most critically acclaimed battlefield games? Yeah people “hated” that. (Buddy are you high or something)
Yes people did. die hard bf3 and 4 fans refuse to take of their nostolgia goggles and actually give battlefield 1 its props. I know it’s 8 years old but there was a small vocal minority who did hate on the game and you can still go find them if you look at Reddit
Many People hated bf1 when it first came out. But it was outweighed by others who enjoy it. To many it’s still a good game but it definitely have its flaws, BIG flaws at that
@@mixyagi1331 what the hell are you talking about? Absolutely everyone adored bf1 from the reveal trailer when everyone was upset with infinite warfare. Are you people in some kind of delusion or something?! EVERYONE THOUGHT THIS WAS GOING TO KILL COD (which was basically impossible) I know what happened because I was there when the trailer dropped
@@Ahmadabdal_ I’m talking about when the game FIRST dropped, ofc it was loved when the trailer was out. But many were disappointed with how DICE did BF1. I was there when it first came out and when the sub Reddit was a war hell. Personally I have my own opinions on it but it’s still good
@@mixyagi1331 who the hell are these "many" who were dissapointed?! you people are clearly delusional!. It was one of the most widely accepted as one of the absolute best battlefield game AT LAUNCH! maybe it was your group of friends that didn't like it but the online discourse was that it was absolutely amazing from maps to the weather effects to levolution to even the setting. You people are genuinely making up memories
After BF3 everything felt not battlefield anymore, I don't get the BF1 hype either.
and even 3 or BC before that were departures
the atmosphere and immersion of bf1 was the best part, imo it far succeeds any other battlefield ever made
@@zukothegoat same feeling. The game was so atmospheric and cinematic
@@zukothegoatThat is something I can agree on
For real same here
27:26 holy pippa
As a historian BF1 was great and you can see the passion behind the project, everything had context and historical background that was explained IN GAME , just hope they get Back into the same mindset for the next game 🖤
tweaking out when he was reading the start of the videos message
girls last tour mentioned‼️
16:00 One thing we always Loved about Battlefield... is the graphics.
So Batlebit can only do so much.
In reality we, the players want the WHOLE package. Not only parts of what makes it good...
I've not purchased a Battlefield game since Battlefield 4, and to be honest I have 0 faith in EA releasing a decent game in 2025.
Remember when saying "There's a camper in that building!" And the building would be destroyed, Pepperidge farms remembers
Battlefield 4 weapon progression and customization is S tier
