Hayden Dunlop Spencer is a good vocalist and does a good job love, but his cleans are a bit winney for my taste. This band sounds as close to studio as I can think of
Me and my 4 year old son watch this before he goes to bed...he loves it and it's very relaxing! He falls asleep to it. We've watched it so many times❤love it.
00:35 Dystopia 06:01 Messenger 10:36 Concealing Fate, Part 2: Deception 15:56 Concealing Fate, Part 3: The Impossible 21:54 Of Matter - Proxy 27:04 Of Matter - Retrospect 33:23 Survival 38:37 Of Mind - Nocturne
just pointing out - in the lyrics to "Dystopia" at 3:23, the line "The greatest thing you'll ever learn Is just to love and be loved in return" - that's taken right from the song 'Nature Boy', by Eden Ahbez, popularized by Nat King Cole. It's a beautiful song, and totally wild/amazing to hear that here.
I had discovered them two days ago, they're freaking amazing. All of them, but honestly the bass won my heart, incredible. Each song from this band it's like an astral trip, it makes leave the temporary for a moment.
They've played it once apparently.. But there's no recording. I've asked jay on a livestream if they'll do it and they've said they're really considering it. His words were "I'd love to it's a fun song"
I am so damn glad i discovered these guys, theyre amazing. Amd Dans Vocals are just incredible with how precise they are. Definitely goals for my vocals 😍
What I really like is that they sound different live than in the studio, and they still sound awesome. So they aren't just pulling the same studio recordings.
Look at how much they changed playing live. This show here was a turning point that was vital for the success of the Bloodstock 2019 Festival, where they played most notably King. I binge that because it sounds just SO good!
Seen them in parma live, one of the greatest things i have seen in my life, and i even had time to talk with him after the show and take a photo, an incredibly nice human being .
Igor Freitas he usually does it to keep time in the bar instead of missing words. One of the many reasons why they won't have perfect live replication studio wise because they are too damn layered for their own good lol. He's singing actual backing vocal layers instead of the main ones. There's like 4 at a time sometimes lol. But in dans defense he hits higher ranged notes than the one's he turns into falsettos all the time so It's not a "tired" thing at all.
Shawn Mitchell - What difference would it make, regarding tempo, to soften notes? He's still one guy and will have to go from one line to the next by himself, even if it means shortening some words to be able to breathe and engage the next. I am training the song Messenger myself for a band audition, and based on Dan's studio video, it is perfectly possible to replicate the song the way he does it in that video - without changing full high pitch notes to falsetto soft ones like he does in this show
The reality of doing falsettos over full voice in the upper registry is to keep his voice. They go on tour for several weeks, playing shows almost every day. Most, if not all singers, have their own "tricks" to make sure they don't wear their voices down.
@@christopherschackt7923 This what I liked about Dan, even if he resorts to falsettos, I (along with a few) personally find it just as powerful and pleasant as belted high notes. I'd rather have that than Ashe relying too much on backing tracks
I'm impressed by their live performance. Lots of these bands sound incredibly unusual live but Tesseract seems to do well in the studio just as well as live.
God i wish Dan would keep screaming in Deception. Im talking about the "when it falls into place" part. That part is one of the best moments of tesseracT.
i love this band 👍👍👊
Crosses
a lot, one of the BEST of my whole life. SAINT LOUIS MA - BRAZIL. ps: the last ART ALBUM its simple ASTOUNDING
GOTESSERACTGO !!!!!
so do i!!!
He can actually sing his shit live, respect.
Precision technicality, polyrhythmic complexity, melodic phraseology, groove-laden artistry ... next level djentistry.
And yet, when they play live they are boring as shit. Each song is the same tempo, the same full time snare FFS.
amjan So wtf your doing here if you dont like them live? Lol 🤔
They have their niche man, it works well. This is music to be appreciated IMO. I don't care about moshin, I care about the music.
How would I know if I don't like them live without watching the fucking video, silly?
let me correct you, you spelled *shit wrong
One of the only bands with clean singing where the vocalist actually sounds fantastic live.
I really don't understand how he can sound so good
Periphery??? Spencer is amazing live as of late
Hayden Dunlop Spencer is a good vocalist and does a good job love, but his cleans are a bit winney for my taste. This band sounds as close to studio as I can think of
I agree on Spencer. Leprous is also amazing live. Saw them all, killer live vocals
Lukas Magyar of Veil Of Maya sounds great too
"Of Matter" is just one of the most incredible musical compositions I'll ever hear in my life. Doesn't matter who is singing it. Dan is amazing.
Me and my 4 year old son watch this before he goes to bed...he loves it and it's very relaxing! He falls asleep to it. We've watched it so many times❤love it.
3:27 dan rolling over his back is priceless
Even when Dans voice is tired (He's probably coming off a huge tour) he sounds Incredible. He knows how to push through it. That's professionalism.
Dan is definitely knowledgeable about the singing voice. He has a much safer/sustainable technique than Ashe
i swear amos has the coolest stage presence
He and James
Amos rolls with the grooove its amazing
People say you can't headbang to djent but Amos always finds his groove
He resembles those musicians of the 70s prog rock bands.
This probably the best vocal performance I have ever heard. Raw, dry, and still fucking perfect. Wow - flawless.
00:35 Dystopia
06:01 Messenger
10:36 Concealing Fate, Part 2: Deception
15:56 Concealing Fate, Part 3: The Impossible
21:54 Of Matter - Proxy
27:04 Of Matter - Retrospect
33:23 Survival
38:37 Of Mind - Nocturne
Tesseract: one of few metal bands that can make super mellow music and still be badass. These guys are magical
Daniel is such a ballsy vocalist live. Yet, he nails it, every damn time. Incredible.
3:27 is just too perfect 😂
he did that on purpose? ahhaha
Calum Osbaldiston w
@Wira aditama nope, i'm surprised that his voice didn't even change haha
LMAO that save
Every now and then you just have to do a barrel roll!
I love Tesseract, this mix of Post-Rock, Djent, Ambient and Prog Metal is absolutely perfect
This band is my life.
just pointing out - in the lyrics to "Dystopia" at 3:23, the line "The greatest thing you'll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return" - that's taken right from the song 'Nature Boy', by Eden Ahbez, popularized by Nat King Cole. It's a beautiful song, and totally wild/amazing to hear that here.
Oh! That's so cool, I love that song and that line in particular resonates with me.
Does anyone else feel like you could listen to Tesseract the entire time, all your life! ? This is just amazing in every sense it can be!
In every situation of my life I could
I kinda do
Yes! I can't for their new album
Yes!
They’re fucking gods of odd rhythms! So satisfying to listen
I get chills every time i hear "Proxy". Every time since the release, damn
Best song on Altered State!
Владислав Плужник it is a pity they didn't complete with Resist
Same yo
Cesar Fonseca Personally I think that Proxy paired with Retrospect is the best thing that has ever happened in prog metal
Every. Single. Time.
I tell you, Hugh Grant Fucking rocks!!! Haha
You beat me to it! :P Looks just like him in this.
41:12 Amos is on the next level!!!!
Seeing Martin Mendez and amos playing bass is eyegasm
Man their music is so addictive. TesseracT is a drug.
I had discovered them two days ago, they're freaking amazing. All of them, but honestly the bass won my heart, incredible.
Each song from this band it's like an astral trip, it makes leave the temporary for a moment.
Daniel es increible
Awesome, thanks for the upload!
Hugh Grant on bass guitar and Sandor Clegane (The Hound) on guitar. What a team!
lead guitarist always reminds me of Mads Mikkelsen
Dystopia - instant chills, wow, just wow!
Wow his voice sounds just like the album!
The expression Dan shows is amazing.
Oh man what I would do to see them live play Tourniquet
Just Another Feeder Jungler I'd probably cry
Just Another Feeder Jungler they are opening for Megadeth a week from Friday. I'll be there. 😂
They've played it once apparently.. But there's no recording. I've asked jay on a livestream if they'll do it and they've said they're really considering it. His words were "I'd love to it's a fun song"
thats not true. amos confirmed
I come back to this once every few months and I'm still blown away
The transition at 14:34 is pure magic. Very few bands would pull that off.
29:14 pure perfection! jay postones as always sounds amazing, by last am i the only one that thinks that this drum set sounds excellent?
José Daniel Isidoro Reyes his drum set is perfect! And he is perfect
3:19 That scream is everything
Holy fuck I love this band! Definitely in my top 3 want to see live..
ive never heard before Dan singing Of Matter, he totally killed it, he's the best!!!!
Incredible! I fucking Love you Dan!!!! One of the best singers of the modern day
once concealing fate hit, the show went full throttle
I am so damn glad i discovered these guys, theyre amazing. Amd Dans Vocals are just incredible with how precise they are. Definitely goals for my vocals 😍
Gracias GRACIAS GRACIAS por colgar este concierto!!
Daniel has developed so much as a vocalist, mad props.
No one can possibly feel it more than amos does at 41:15
What I really like is that they sound different live than in the studio, and they still sound awesome. So they aren't just pulling the same studio recordings.
bloody tight 😶😶
amazing live sound...
axe fx...bloody brutal machines
and Daniel Tompkins...vocals beyond excellence
No tengo palabras , brutal💙💜!
Al fin lo puedo ver completo, jamas perdí la esperanza, me fascina esta banda
Impecables!! Dan es una bestia vocal y el frontman ideal para la banda.
For the love of god, play the end of Nocturne! I'll never understand why they cut it short. That ending is one of my favorite TesseracT moments
Greetings from the US. TesseracT is awesome!
wow, thx for posting this. it's souvenir
40:56 haunts me. Ashes voice in the back ground makes me shiver at this point
*Dan's voice
they still use the backing vocals that Ashe used for altered state songs, that is definitely Ashe's voice in the back ground
Watched video. Bought entire catalog on iTunes. Djent on, brothers!
Besides the mixing, it sounds just like the studio! Amazing job Tess!
Dan is such a talented singer, Jesus Christ.
ItzZehDiego I’m not sure if Jesus Christ could sing. Curious though

wish I could have been there this band is amazing
Fuck! I'm so used to hearing singers sound bad live this dude sounds great! right on pitch every single time and band is great!!
Dan is so good live !
Dan’s vocals just get better by the year
Man he's such a good singer. Fucking love Dan's voice!
Finalmente volvió el video!!
Yes!!!!
I love this so much. Survival is spot on.
Thank you!
Sooooo pleased this Exists. Legends!
Dan is getting tired in the end, but look what he've done in 8:28, such an amazing singer, such an impressed live. Love this band so much!
On the second song he was already changing full high-pitched notes for soft falsettos... He wasn't tired just at the end

Dan is on fire! Some skill to pull those vocals off live. Fuckinh sick yo

Holy shit Dan was fucking hype in Dystopia

Por fin! En 2020
Flawless band. Flawless vocals. I'm amazed.
they are just incredible!
I'm impressed by their live performance. Lots of these bands sound incredibly unusual live but Tesseract seems to do well in the studio just as well as live.
Dan is such a true pro.
Dan's live is fucking clean.
Gracias por colgar el concierto íntegro, que no pude ir T_T
ay que sad
Saw these guys at Hamersmith Apollo with Devin and Leprous. Awesome!
Traedlos de vuelta porfavor 🙏 son increíbles.
God i wish Dan would keep screaming in Deception. Im talking about the "when it falls into place" part. That part is one of the best moments of tesseracT.
incredible performance.
This is my new favourite band thank you. I subscribed hehe
3:26 i always had the image of daniel being an extremely professional musician
but damn, he tripped and it didnt even affected his voice
Just perfect.
Peazo concierto si señor !! \m/
Increíbles!
Great band i discovered recently
best band of all times.
tightest band ive ever seen holy shit. they are so perfect life
Sounds really good.
Finally a newer band who is isn't medicore and unoriginal screaming and grunting. I hesitated when clicking on the video. I was completely wrong.
Check out Artificial Language and Unprocessed
Dude check out Bury Tomorrow. Their cleans is perfect
pretty impressed with the live sound. near studio quality. and the vocals are good too.
Damn these guys are awesome live
dan is a beast
25.46 gives me goosebumps...Daniel is amazing...
Oh My God, fantastic
TREMENDO SONIDO! TESSERACT LO MAS ALTO EN LA MUSICA HOY EN DIA
Daniel is so spot on! Wow!
I like how Daniel Tompkins had to step up his game after they made the second album with Ashe O'Hara. He used to struggle with those highs. :-)
