Just a chat with you guys telling you about the Garmin Zumo XT2. I have been using the XT2 for a few months now and recently got back from touring Spain and France using the XT2. Very informative, thank you! I just bought this little bugger and tomorrow it's time for its first time on my own Triumph! The sun is shining in Sweden and I do think (hope) we'll get an early spring this year. I wish you the best on the roads!

Yes, the xt2 is a great bit of kit but is a fair bit of money but it should last

Thanks for the video Kaz! Can I ask - does the XT2 give you the option to specify types of road to avoid? E.g could I plot a route but ask it to avoid motorways where possible?

Yes you can tell the xt2 to avoid motorways, toll roads etc and you can do this while riding if you come across traffic/accident and need to reroute

Kaz one other point everyone I spoke too say don’t use tread
yes, the XT2 uses the Tread app, I found this worked really well, and you can plan routes and send it the XT
Kaz does it show lane guidance

Hey, yes I believe so 👍
It does but it will charge at a slower rate - the XT charges at 5 v and the XT2 at 12 v.
I'm in the same situation, I'm wondering how the XT2 working out for you *with the original XT mount* -- the fact that it charges a bit slower…has that at all been a problem in any way? ty
