What has consistently bothered me about webcams is how they tend to mute the vibrancy of purple hair. The Elgato Facecam Pro stands out as one of the better options, though there's room for improvement. In terms of pricing, it's certainly worth checking out. Thanks for the review queen 👑
Some of my thoughts exactly. Looking forward to freeing up my Cannon R5 from my desk set up, and having a dedicated web camera that will do the trick. Also, another key point is that this camera pairs very well with the Elgato teleprompter - if they ever get them in stock again! I actually found Elgato as I was learning OBS since it has so many things that pair well with that software. Nice video - thank you!

i always wanted to get a DSLR camera for Webcam but i keep hearing about overheating.. do you have yours plugged in by usb when your recording? or do you use the Camlink??
1 thing i cant stand is when people review a camera and talk about its 4K60 but upload the video in 1080p 30 and not even 1080p 60 but 1080p 30 or 24fps. the point of the video is to show the res and what it can do SMH...

But Sony does not make DSLR cameras. A digital single-lens reflex camera name literally means there is a reflex mirror element. There is no mirror in A7c, or any Sony camera, or any camera at this point (except Pentax).
@@humansrants1694for me i’s wild, because there was the whole debate about DSLR vs mirrorless, and the latter had been always separated because this new hot thing was way smaller and lighter with better lens compatibility due to different flange focal distance. And now I see people calling mirrorless the name belonging to that fat heavy devices of old, which makes me surprised at first, and then quite sad

People still call them DSLR so people know they are talking a bout a camera you switch lenses on, it's what people are used to but you are correct.
