In all fairness to Blaze if this hadn't been an "I can't teleport or have 4 digit health pool either" challenge it would have been an easy win as you were pretty well crushing the majority of these maps. I've been using Blaze a lot on my enchant D-machine sorc this ladder and with a full pack of skillers, sunder, flickering flame, infinity merc etc. it is actually extremely strong in a lot of situations and IMO a bit better than teleport for mobility in a lot of maps playing on controller/console.
Oh for sure if I wasn't being crazy greedy with the sanders boots and the hustle this run would have crushed the game no problem. Even meme-ing around it felt powerful.
It looked strong, and I've been using Blaze a lot this ladder myself and watching this gave me some good ideas for getting even more use out of it. Wondering why don't we use this more instead of hydra/orb or cold/firewall hybrids for campaign and pre-sunder? I know your thing is the goal is reached when you hit Guardian but for a lot of players that's barely even when the real game starts and 99 on a ladder is the finish line.

Your videos inspired me to go for HC SSF runs myself for the first time. Started with a Concentration Barb, which was kind of a slog, so I put him aside for now right after killing Duriel. Then started a Paladin using Holy Fire, and man, was this a breeze. Just burned down Mephisto, let's see how things go...
Fire wall we used on Diablo 1. On D2 it is like to make fire traps assasin :) You definitely need teleport with this build. Imune to fire and cold = use static field. Always spend 1 sp on it. This skill is must have. It can decimate hp of any foe(s) pretty quick to less than half, after what you need to finish it manually. Easier life for merc. Oh my gosh, that was harcdore!

I noticed the Warmth thing yesterday. I was surprised how I had maxed Warmth on a level 30 character and it could not keep up in the slightest with my teleporting.
It's so cool that stuff like this is possible in D2. However, if you didn't refuse to use generic sorc skills like staticfield and teleport, this probably have been pretty easy, right? I'm looking forward to episode 2 of the blaze wars.

Oooh thunderstorm would have been fun as well. I hadn't thought of it. Maybe next time. I once asked for requests and suggestions on an early video. I now have an almost 500 video deep request queue. I will never in a million years run out of runs to do. I literally have a colorcoded excel spreadsheet and two files on my phone to keep track of all the requests. And I still get completely new requests like once a week.

When you move back after getting hit the poison stops almost immediately with 75% reduction. Instead of putting you to 1 hp like normal

Using static field and teleport makes every run basically free as long as you don't play like a degenerate.
