I haven’t tried water color in my strathmore Tonetan book but I am in love with this book in general. I think those rocks that you visit are fantastic. Guash intimidates me (mainly because it costs too much right now) because I’ve heard the workability isn’t really great. Thank you so much for sharing! You’re incredibly talented!
I wanna try to paint whit gouache and acrylic gouache on the strathmore toned gray,toned tan and in the toned blue mixed media sketchbooks. 😊i love you,re sketchbook 😊
Ooooo, nice. 👍🏼. Love your trees and rocks and reminds me that I need to try clouds plain air. like the toned sketch books but I haven’t quite figured out how to make stuff look nice. Still experimenting. Some things turn out nice and some don’t. I’ve been using oil impregnated charcoal or pastel pencil on some drawings and I kinda hate it. Maybe because I am doing quick sketches of plane air or at the museum. I don’t know. Or I just don’t know how to blend them yet. My favorite to use on this paper is like you, pen and watercolor. Have you tried the Strathmore toned Mix Media yet? I want to get the toned blue 6”x8” for $2.98 at Blick’s. I want blue because I will draw of paint in the redwoods where it’s kinda dark this winter.
Hey. I think you did a really good job on your drawings/paintings. I have one critique about this, and that's that I think you should try to draw people more, instead of landscapes.

I want to use acrylic paint on it. Do you think it will warp the paper or🤔
Idk if u will respond to this but.... is the paper thicc to watercolor?
It’s probably not good for watercolors the paper would warp way to much or rip
