Wow this is so foolish... Evangelicals are trying to *convert* the uninitiated. Chabad is trying to reach out to other Jewish people who have fallen out of observance...
Absolutely nothing, Chabad does not force you to do anything. They are observant and teach biblical observancy.

@@ariebrons7976because that dress code is part of their particular stream of Judaism. If you dont want to do it, that is fine, they dont make you. But you dont belong there.
It's like people hitching about not being able to join Veterans of Foreign Wars just because they are not veterans of a foreign war... you want to do your own thing get tattoos and eat pork, great. But dont be a fake and try to hang with people who do keep the mitzvahs.
At my university they would try to take advantage of Jewish students' lack of knowledge of Judaism by trying to teach them that Chabad-specific customs were the only correct way of doing things. For example, if you followed Sephardic customs, they would tell students that they were wrong. The truth is that they try to convert secular Jewish to become Chabad Jews because in their perfect world, all Jews would be Chabad Jews.

In my very little experience, chabad has been among the best when it comes to not differenciating against converts or non-ashkenazi natural jews. I mention this because of the woman's comment about "Jewish born."
If this woman did not intend her voice and image to be posted on RUclips then are they here? If she did intend her words to be posted on RUclips then why have the caption "woman caught"? The news I received is that Chabad will not value my privacy. Thank you for providing that news. I will remember it.
She's not wrong. Chabad is a kiruv organization. But they don't force it on anyone
