Love the videos guys! I've got a 2004 Club Car Precedent and I want to replace the backup horn with a different sound module. Voltage feeding the horn is 48v, but it wont drive the bench made sound device I have. It also won't activate a 48volt relay. Not enough amps? Is there a relay that it will activate? Thanks! Steve
Thanks for watching, Steve! Sounds like you might benefit from having our techs take a look with you, remotely. You can get a free appointment here: www.golfcartgarage.com/gearheads-on-demand/ or you can talk with our techs at Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934
Hey, Terry! Thanks for stopping by. Yes, you should be all good, there! Can't hurt to wrap a piece of electrical tape around the end to protect that wiring, though. If you need anything else, get in touch! support@golfcartgarage.com or (800) 401-2934. You should be able to hear us just fine without that buzzer going ;-)
Thank you! Mine buzzes for hours if I wash it or it gets rained on. It's maddening. I have to put it in tow to get it to shut up. I'm feeling like Nick right now.
Thanks for watching, Deborah! Glad we could help. And, for the record... Nick gets his revenge in our EZGO version of this episode, lol. Let us know if you ever need help! Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934
Thanks for watching! A little more speed on that cart is simple with a Lift Kit / Bigger Tires or an Engine Governor adjustment... or both. We can also help look at engine and belt upgrades if that's not enough, feel free to get in touch if we can help! support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934. You can also check out our video on the basics of speed here: ruclips.net/video/ElhaSpdxIlc/видео.html
@@GolfCartGarage great. Thanks for the quick response. I bought this with a factory lift kit aftermarket wheels and a rear fip seat and windshield. I watched a video of a guy that put a wire tie around the throttle spring and backed off the governor screw a little and gained some speed. He said it doesn't hurt the kholer moter and is safe but im.a little skeptical about that mod. What's your opinion
Can't see anything immediately wrong with that, but skepticism is sometimes wise. You can check it out in real time for free with our remote diagnostic service here: www.golfcartgarage.com/gearheads-on-demand/
Hey, Isaac, thanks for watching! Sounds like you should consider having a talk with our virtual diagnosis techs. www.golfcartgarage.com/gearheads-on-demand/ it's free for a limited time!
Thanks for watching. No, it will not cause damage to disconnect the buzzer. The wiring there only exists to sound the alarm when in reverse gear. Let us know if you have more questions or need help, just get in touch. Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934
Thanks for watching, Grave Keeper! Dave didn't think you were coming for him this soon, but we'll let him know you stopped by. If you need help with your cart, just get in touch! Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934
Thanks for stopping by! It sounds like your forward/reverse switch may be failing to engage with your controller (assuming your cart is electric) and maybe you should contact our virtual diagnosis service at golfcartgarage.com/gearheads-on-demand which is (for now) a FREE service!
Thanks for watching! To be fair, we couldn't even find a less obnoxious video host... so we might not be the ones to ask. But, no, we're not aware of a quieter or less annoying buzzer that's commercially available. We have seen some drivers who want to leave it in place, buffer the buzzer with foam or fabric to quiet it, but that's about it. If you have more questions or if we can help in any way, just get in touch! Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934
Only half? We can get a higher malarkey ratio than that. Tune in next time! (to be fair, you can use chapters at the bottom of the screen to skip to "procedure")
OK, we'll make the next one super serious and short (definitely not true)... but there are chapters on the timeline to get you straight to the procedure.

I wasn't able to get the top screw out. However, I reached inside and was able to pull out just the orange wire. No more buzzing sound. All good?

Good tip. Do you have any suggestions on speeding up my 2022 club car precedent gas car?

Whenever I go downhill my golf cart forcefully slows me down. Is there any way I can stop this?

I like Nick
Hey, Travis! We couldn't agree more. Top shelf comment, we hereby award you all of today's internets. Stay tuned for more Nick in future episodes!
Half that video was just a bunch of malarkey. I thought it was about disconnecting the reverse buzzer. 😢
Only half? We can get a higher malarkey ratio than that. Tune in next time! (to be fair, you can use chapters at the bottom of the screen to skip to "procedure")
Half the time listening to silly talk, then 20 seconds of actual infirmation.
