IMHO, that is the coolest thing you've come up with yet. Very cool, Louis. Thanks for walking us through the process.
Baby Back Maniac thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her. Still see a summit in my future and a ranch and maybe a smoke fire- when does the wish list end? Haha
@@LouisatRshackBBQ I think I'd sell everything else and be happy with that masterpiece you made. lol. (No I wouldn't but it's a nice thought.)
Your custom Weber is so cool. The granite top is really nice! Thank you for sharing your collection!
Kitchen Queers thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her.
That is an awesome build!! Very clean and factory like!! Gonna do this to one of my carts no doubt. The best wobbly leg solution I’ve seen yet and still be portable.
This build is very impressive! Easily the best Weber mod that I've ever seen!
Thank you for watching and the comment. Not bad for under $250 total investment in this including the 26” kettle that I picked up for $40 . Thought it was a std 22” but it fit different in my truck . Got lucky when I unloaded and realized it was a 26”.
That is one fine job and one fine cooker. Biggun too. Thanks for the tour on how you did it. Granite too !! Nice work Louis. I like that pipe modulation.
Phil N Florence thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her. It has been a process to get it to this point but I have less than $200 invested as I have scored on some pretty good deals
Great Job, I just brought the 26" Weber a few months ago. Now I will building this table.
Thank you for watching. I really like the convenience of the 26” on a cart. The granite top does make it pretty heavy to move around though.
Brilliant idea Louis and even better execution. I must do this to my 26".
Food For Men thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her.
LT that is really classy. Love the granite table and frame mods. Looks like four extra inches really does make a difference. You'll have a lot of extra cooking real estate. Beautifully done brother. Let's grab a beer this week!
GT’s Barbeque and Cuisine thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her. Hit me up when you are free to meet up buddy
Very nice LT!!!! I'm going to make a table for my 2 black kettles. Love that 26" Performer !
Daddy Dutch BBQ thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her.. let me know when you get to making a table and I will hook you up with brackets
Fantastic Job Louis, looks great! Fun project. J
Camp Meat BBQ Camp Meat BBQ thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her.
Nice video. You're clearly a Weber Virtuoso!
That is insane brother! That's definitely a Cadillac 👍great build, thanks for sharing!
Behind the Garage BBQ thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her.
I just found a weber performer on Facebook market for $40, only used twice lol I just bought a new deluxe a couple months ago, so I'll be using the frame for my 26", glad I found this video 👌👌👌
Thank you for watching. Would love to see pictures of the end product
Very cool Louis, that is a awesome cooker!
Papa C’s BBQ & Kitchen thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her.
Been looking for a side by side comparison of the 22 and 26. Thank You!!
Thank you for watching. I hope this helped.
Awesome build LT nothing wrong with a little Summit envy 😆
Dad Incredible thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her. I still want a summit - got my eye on one - waiting for the price to drop a bit
This is awesome! Great work!
Pretty sweet looking unit, Louis. That would super expensive to build up here. Used performers and 26's are as scarce as dinosaur eggs. New units are $500 a piece.
RTFO!!! GB
Cooking Green Bastard Style thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it turned out and will enjoy cooking on her. I have been fortunate in finding deals - got less than $200 invested including the 26” kettle
Love it. Great job
Thank you for watching. I really like everything about this build. I am fortunate to have access to a machine that can cut granite
@@LouisatRshackBBQ ya. Wish I did. But love the 26. Maybe one day I'll drop mine into a modified SSP setup
Pretty nice.
Awesome!!
nice job!
Thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy with how it came out
So nice 👍
Thank you for watching. One of my favorite cookers
This is pure awesomness! I am really about to do this for my 26er I just picked up. How much did you widen, do you remember how wide your cut your end piping? I know I can measure just curious if you knew off hand.
Grate job on this mod
Thank you for watching and commenting. I am really happy how it turned out
I keep hoping that Weber builds a 26 inch performer version with all of the third party accessories available for the 22 inch Performer.
Great video - really activating my almonds as I have a 22" Performer Deluxe and want/need a larger 26" kettle. Also, where's poochie going? He keeps jumping out of screen...
Thank you for watching. I really do believe if Weber made a 26” performer - they would sale like hot cakes. Haha the dogs love to explore everywhere
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 Nuff said!!! Thanks.
Thank you for watching. She did turn out nice
Just WoW
Thank you for watching
Thanks for posting this. What a great build. I picked up a used 26 and would love to make it more stable. The performer cart looks like a great option. One question: Do you think you could mount your custom kettle brackets lower on the 26" bowl and not have the increase the depth of the cart or replace the shelf?
Thank you for watching. That is a great idea and the answer would be yes - you definitely could do that. I have an extra 26” bowl - I might try this out.
@Louis at R shack BBQ I have been torn between the 22" performer and a 26" grill and this would help a lot to get me the best of both worlds. Thanks a lot for putting this out there.
Would it be possible to provide the lengths and dimensions of the tubes and connectors or of the table in general? I don't have a performer frame I can repurpose but the tubes+brackets look like something that is duplicatable to make a custom frame but the final table dimensions will make it much simpler to plan out.
Thank you for watching- shoot me a email at Rshackbbq@gmail.com
And I will send you the dimensions
Wow that is beautiful!!! Would you mind telling us the dimensions for the granite table? Thank you in advance!
Thank you for watching. This turned out awesome- I am so happy with it. I cut the granite table at 29” wide by 27” long.
I would like a couple of those stainless brackets. How much thanks for sharing
Message me at rshackbbq@gmail.com
Hi Louise great looking weber, you said you make the mounting brackets could you supply a link? Thanks Johnny
Thank you for watching. We sale the brackets for $40 including shipping to the lower 48 states. You can email me at rshackbbq@gmail. Com for more information
So any performer cart will work? Need to upgrade and really want the performer but also the 26.
Hey Louis. Good to see our Great State represented. Pulling the trigger on my 26. Are the brackets still available? Like to purchase a set if possible. Thanks Boss.
Thank you- I do have brackets for converting- I sale them for $50 including shipping to the lower 48 states- if interested email me at rshackbbq@gmail.com
Do you use the same size of brackets in order to change a 22' kettle or to place a 26'? By th e way , your 26 is a beauty. How can I by your bracket's?
Do you still make the brackets to attach the kettle to the table? Great setup👍🏼
Thank you for watching- yes we do - email me at rshackbbq@gmail.com
Where did you find a 26 lid with the vent located on the right side rather than opposite of the temp gauge?
Your axel rod, is that a threaded rod or a rod that you cut threads on each end? Been watching your shack. Did you ever finish the counter top on the front bar?
John Manthey thank you for watching and commenting. It is threaded all the way. I have not finished the bar top yet . Waiting for warmer weather to get working outside again.
Are the mounting brackets for the 26" kettle still available? I have 2 - 22" performer kettle and frames... one frame will now become a donor for a 26" build.
Thank you for watching- yes they are - email me at rshackbbq@gmail.com
I have a 26-inch weber and would like to do the same thing. do you have the measurements? the length and width. and how did you get the measurement of the table?
Thank you for watching. It’s been a while since I built this - email me at rshackbbq@gmail.com and I will send you my measurements from it.
Do you keep your performers outdoors always?
Thank you for watching . I do keep them outdoors and have covers on all of them. Most of them are under some kind of roof as well
How do you drill the holes in the granite!
Thank you for watching. The granite table top I cut on a piece of equipment called a water jet which also allowed me to cut out the holes as well. You can do them with a diamond bit and water as well
Did your dog just make a quick get away? Lol
Thank you for watching. He is camera shy
You should market this upgrade and sell it as a kit. I would buy it. Message me if this is available.
Creform is what the hardware is called.
Thank you for watching. I am not sure if they sell to the public but I found another company called maker pipe that does
We use it at work to build custom tables so I have plenty. Lol
How much would you charge to build for me
Thank you for watching. I definitely could make one . Are you here in WA state?
@@LouisatRshackBBQ no,I live in Philadelphia,pPa
i wish that 26” was offered in copper. 💔
Thank you for watching. I wish they offered the 26” in more colors. I did a copper 22” custom with a black granite top and it turned out beautiful
