Will Airbus Ever Make An A350neo?

- It could be argued that the neo (new engine option) line-up of Airbus aircraft - particularly the A320neo family - is one of the best decisions the planemaker has made in its history of building commercial jets. Revising its existing A320 family greatly boosted aircraft efficiency and gave it a competitive edge over Boeing, all without the higher development costs of a clean-sheet design. This strategy was also carried to its older widebody, the A330, although it hasn't seen the same runaway success. Could Airbus one day do this to the A350 and offer an A350neo?

A380Neo...✈
Powered by only 2 ge9x
Won’t happened tho sadly.

What else would the RR Ultrafan be for if not for the A350neo
Should be also for the 787 and the a320/737 narrowbody replacements
@@mmm0404 yeah but the smaller versions coming from the big one
@@m3redgt trouble is, is NOT certified yet.
They might be to large
Not soon, but it's definitely coming
They don't need to especially when there's no 777x.
Lmao
That’s why it’s all the more important for them to make the 350neo lol
Great video 👌
Airbus is already hiring people for the A350neo development...
Until ultrafan unveiled
Boeing rushing from the court to the drawing board
B787 MAX
And then into the terrain it goes 😂😂
Then the same thing will happen (737 Max) ✈️🛬💥
It totally depends on the engines on offer at the time, but not just yet.
It will come eventually, but the A350 is too new.
i think maybe later not now
definitely, i think in 15-20 yrs from now. Maybe with RR ultrafan who knows
Most people forgot that A350 is actually 10 years old.
You need around 15-20 years for new engines to come around.
That would mean that 2030 would be the minimum timeline for A350NEO.
If you ask Tim Clark, the next re-engining program Airbus needs to undertake is A380NEO (perhaps even A380-900NEO).
Not enough customers.
Because he's at the one airline in the world for whom the A380 makes sense long term
Keep the nice music coming. It's so refreshing and calming for me. Keep up the great vedios.
dude, the music used in this video is literally the best one from simple flying. I wished they used it more often though. Would you happen to know the name of this masterpiece music soundtrack?
@Icelandair_B767 No sorry I do not know the name of the music.
Awesome
The A350 is still fairly new, so I think they will build the A350neo at 2045
RR UltraFan is coming, it's clear its advantages
Nah it will come in the early 2030s
@@davidajayi1207 Hell no!
Service not before 2040
The ideal solution would be two engines like the A320neo RR which might be RR Ultrafan engine code 4/GE 9x derivative engine code 0. If UA goes for A350neo they'll go for the engine code 0 version in terms of commonality with other Ge engine planes. If it had PW1000G 11xxG then it's engine code 7 making it A350-97xN. A350-87xN A350-107xN. Ge version A350-90xN A350-80xN A350-100xN
Putting the "option" in "new engine option".
I believe that if they scaled down the Ultrafan for narrowbody use, it would power the A320 family’s successor.
They have to try!
If they want -1000's in Emirates livery then they need to
But will Emirates wait that much longer to order their second batch of widebodies?
I more than think it. I expect it will happen eventually
Yes
Airbus have said, that the A350 Neo would be looked at in 2026
🌟👑🌟
💫😏💫
SPLENDID !!!
✨🥂🍾✨
knowing airbus, yea
Rolls-Royce UltraFan will definitely be the one
That's in 2033😊😊😊😊 wen the project is 20 years
✈️
Why not go howl hog Airbus with the 330 neo & 350 advanced military variants....😮😅
No unless they want their A350 to be screwed by PW’s gear turbo fan engines…
If it exists I hope it has more than one option unlike the A330neo
Unlikely because the current A350 also has only one option
@@MrSchwabentier Well with talks of the ultrafan and maybe something from GE it could be somewhat possible but I think it all goes down to customers and interest shown by the engine makers themselves
It’s not if but when
Of course there will be. Just not for another decade.
Can the A350 Neo sport the Rolls-Royce Ultra Fan?
Ultra Fan???
RR ultra fan? What are they waiting for?
Wdym? They’re waiting for the Ultrafan
A350neo: now with Dyson engines
Bro my son is older than a350 😂
Lol
Given that Airbus made the ridiculous marketing choice to call the 350s the 900 and 1,000 what would they call the NEO? They really left no room for future versions of the 350!
-900 neo, -1000neo. What's so hard about that?
@@mohdaffandiariffinmohdazma3283 yeah, they did the same for the A320neo family. Makes sense
@@mohdaffandiariffinmohdazma3283 they used different model numbers for the 330s...
I hope supersonic aircrafts will be made
Terrible idea. Too much fuel consumed ant too expensive, also too noisy.
@@GABRIEL-dz9mhnahhh, when adaptive cycle engines become more prominent it will become more common. Let’s not forget the Concorde had 1960 era engines lol
It will in the last 2030s when engine technology goes up another notch
何で今更GEなん?

A330neo is still better.
The a350 is barely on the market...
wassup ( i am second)
There are no new engines.
