In fairness to the minority party's questioner, how could anyone find any salient objection to her testimony? She explored avenues of inquiry I would never have thought of, and she double- and triple-checked her work. She's brilliant. I sent a link to my daughter (not a lawyer) as exemplary of how a breathtakingly competent woman does her job (not to scold her, but to inspire her, and she said she loves to watch competent people at work in professional roles). This hearing should be required watching in law school.

Awareness of a conflict is the first step towards addressing and resolving it, but it doesn’t automatically dissolve the conflict itself. It’s through understanding, communication, and sometimes negotiation or intervention that conflicts are typically resolved.
He clearly said that if Ms merchant is acknowledging that fani would have disclosure the "conflict" that in Ms merchant eyes, there would be no harm to her client. She confirm that, he later followed up with, - well that wouldn't be true. If a real conflict is known, rather the d.a. disclose it or not, it still would have negatively affected your client. The fact that Ms merchant acknowledged the conflict would have disappeared if fani had disclosed proves they never had a real conflict. Then Ms merchant changes her answer to, well if she had disclose, he wouldn't have been hired. Still bigger picture, why are Trumps lawyers pleading guilty to this case and willing to testify against Trump if he is innocent 🤔 she can't explain that one.

In fairness to the minority party's questioner, how could anyone find any salient objection to her testimony? She explored avenues of inquiry I would never have thought of, and she double- and triple-checked her work. She's brilliant. I sent a link to my daughter (not a lawyer) as exemplary of how a breathtakingly competent woman does her job (not to scold her, but to inspire her, and she said she loves to watch competent people at work in professional roles). This hearing should be required watching in law school.

The fact that Ms merchant acknowledged the conflict would have disappeared if fani had disclosed proves they never had a real conflict. Then Ms merchant changes her answer to, well if she had disclose, he wouldn't have been hired.

Did anyone add up the cost of those trips they took in 8 months. It was just over $17,000. If Willis paid for 1/2 of those trips in cash. What she paid was about $50 more then what she took out of her campaign funds illegally.
