  • We had a great time exploring Mt. Hood National Forest in Northern Oregon. First, we stopped by The Narrows of the Clackamas River. Then we hit Bagby Hot Springs and followed it up with the nearby beautiful waterfall, Shower Creek Falls.

Absolutely thrilled to have the vivid memories of visiting Bagby in the late 1970s when it was free of charge, still had the original W.P.A. era bath houses with huge hollowed-out cedar logs that would easily accomodate four people and teperature control meant grabbing one of the buckets to dip cold water and carry back to your tub
Always meant to return but lost interest after vandals burned down the bath houses and made parking at the trailhead unsafe
It is comforting to remember the nice things we once had
Thank You for posting this video

Great vid. Looks like heaven on earth! How often can you have such beauty with a natural hot spring/hot tub?

Wow so many rules at bagby hot springs now a days. I remember going twenty years ago. It didn't cost a thing and no time limit in the tubs. That whole area is beautiful. I would spend the whole summer just exploring from there to mt hood when I was younger. That whole area of forest in Oregon is an awesome spot.

Visited Bagby last summer. It was great. There were a couple of small groups there at the same time and we had a good time chatting and soaking.

My stomping grounds. Have you heard of the book by Joe Beelart titled The Oregon Bigfoot Highway? It’s based on the Clackamas and Collawash Rivers areas.
