The big difference between the Irish military and the American, English and Canadian military's is how the Irish soldiers move in unison, they move like a caterpillar, not one soldier is out of step.That is discipline people. Soldiers that have that discipline in marching ,also have it in battle.They become one and know what the soldier in front is doing..Hello to all my old friends from D Coy Carlow.

I'm a Frenchman and I was in Dublin in 2016 to celebrate the centenary of the 1916 Easter rising with my Irish friends ; a great parade, a beautiful army ; I love that country so much and I'm so proud to have attended this anniversary ; during these days in Dublin, my heart was Irish !!!

we are ment to be one of the best army's in the world I'm the first generation that hasn't joined a army but I'm so proud of all my family that has served in both the UK and Ireland and the 1916 parade was fantastic proud to be irish
