Welcome to the first 'Rapid Review' Videos. These videos are designed to be short, snappy reviews of a new product. This will often lead to a full review in a future video, however it allows you to get a quick look at something as soon as they are released.
Some of these wagon packs are still in stock at Accurascale, the link to the website is below.

Hunt magnetic couplers for closer coupling are available at westhillwagonworks.co.uk/?aff... - Авто/Мото
I think a little longer would work, but I like the fast update from a guy whose view I value. Thanks Dave
Ok thanks. I’ll take that on Board.
I like the new rapid review format. Long enough to provide the necessary info but short enough to keep your attention
Thanks. I might make them 4-5 mins. But I don’t plan to make them any longer. It’s just suppose to give you a sense of the new wagons
I’ve a full review within my July update, due this weekend.
Nice idea! Thank you.
excellent, review format got the facts without a ton of padding.
Loved the review. Never thought a nuclear flask could be modelled to such a level of detail. But it is, after all, a working railway vehicle.
A more in-depth review will follow in my next update video, due later this week.
Brilliant layout
Love it dave some models don't need a rambling on video like some other reviewers brilliant udea andive just found out from your review my pack c didn't have a magnetic wand with it so will now get on to it thanks again
Hi, thanks. Yes contact them and they should send you one asap.
It comes in a separate pack, not in the wagon box. Check the box they came in :-)
Great Idea Dave
Seems to me you should always take care when opening a nuclear flask Dave! Very good thinking to warn people in advance.
Nice review too.
Yes a very careful touch required!
Not 100% sure about the ultra-short format. Sounded like you were in a rush. Slightly longer (4 minutes?) with a bit more detail would be good. Certainly like the idea that you can post these quickly whilst models are still in the shops.
Interesting :-). Very interesting indeed :-).
Thanks. See the full review in my august update. :-)
Good snappy format and, as you've said, gives viewers the opportunity to get whatever you're reviewing before they sell out, should they wish to.
Rapid Review gets my vote, straight to the point, plenty of running shots and close ups of the fine detail. This one’s definitely a winner Dave. 👍🏻👍🏻
Cheers. They are quicker to make and while they won’t generate millions of views it gives people the heads up about a new model.
I like this concept Dave, the more reviews the better..
As for the product.. I'm kind of disappointed that these are again battery lighting.. and worse that its such a fragile opening mechanism. This might be ok for the one-off fitting of a chip, but replacement batteries will be a common thing this will need opening regularly.. When you compare this to the magnetic closures we've seen elsewhere.. this is not good enough for it's purpose.. the real fix should be to do away with batteries and fit a pair of pickups with diodes and a capacitor.. this could still flash for an hour as a DC model with no power..
Overall good video here Dave and I look forward to more of these rapid reviews in the future, these wagons may be something I look at in the future.
They are selling well at accurascale. Some of the packs are selling out.
Great models indeed, have 2 packs but have also ordered Revolutions sets as they looked equally as impressive
Great stuff really like these but not sure my wallet or my wife!! can take another accurascale order. I have a few pre orders backed up…………have to see what wizardry I can preform!!
Hi, my set came with a missing part and a bent part! also no wand supplied, Accurascale sent the parts required to repair the issues, the wand is going to be sent in a few weeks, not impressed with their quality control, i hope the future purchases don't end up the same way.
Looks a good product. Won’t be purchasing one as I have a Bachman one. Nice review
On the Accurascale Flasks, whatever you do don't lift them off the track or handle them by grabbing the flask as it is very flimsy and will come straight off dropping the wagon and breaking the plastic hooks on each side that hold them down and yes I found out the hard way.
AS could have done better to have the flask attached to the chassis a bit better or firmer but other than that they are awesome wagons.
Several people have broken these including some in reviews. It's a poor catch design but nice model
great vid, maybe an idea to also post as a short, or reel on fb, for better exposure for you
It’s been on fb, shorts must be under 60 seconds long.
I got packs b and c and no wand was provided with either pack was was disappointing.
So are two DRS Class 68s to double head these on the way as well?
Another review said you don’t get the magnetic wand 🤷🏻♂️
You should get a magnetic wand with each order. Mine was in the parcel box, not in the wagons box.
My full review of these will appear in my next update video.
@@DeanPark the guy that does “SAMS TRAINS” was moaning that he didn’t get a wand & had to make his own & then he broke the flask getting it off to put the batteries in.
@@scotiajinker8392 You misspelled "Sam Strains".
Can we petition Accurascale to provide a glowing green battery that lives inside the flask?
Now that’s a project for an evening 😆
Is this a review or a advertisement
A review. As per the title “rapid review”.
So will you be doing head to head with the revolution officially licensed by DRS when it come out 😊
