I have two packs of them which I got to say they are my favourite wagons I own and the best ones from Accurascale with amazing detail

Hi Jenny, great review of these very nice wagons, I disagree about the wand regarding not supplying them in every pack, they could have a tick box when ordering, hence if it isn’t required then they won’t send one, the batteries are a big let down for the price you are paying, they are not easy to get hold of, Amazon only! I will not buy another item like this that requires batteries again from Accurascale, I’m sure most batteries are made in China these days, they could have chosen an easier battery to get hold of, I had a few issues with my set which Accurascale sorted out, these wagons are very good indeed just a few issues that could have been sorted before they were released.

Great wagons. Love the flashing tail light but a wee bit of a faff to fit the batteries especially if you’re less dexterous than you used to be like me! Just persevere though and it’s worth the effort.

👍👍Quite nicely done! To bad about the batteries however, could have made them a more common size that's readily available. 🚂🚂

Why the trend towards battery powered lights on recent OO models? Is it that much cheaper than wheel pickups? Or have people been complaining about flickering lights due to imperfect pickups?

Got mine last week, love them. They are well built and a great wagon. I get the issues with the battery, buts it’s definitely an upgrade on the Tippler wagons and that silly underbody switch. Mine hardly ever worked.
Pickups might be better but would you get light flicker with a dirty track 🤷‍♂️🤔

Still waiting for mine, not sure why they couldn't have standardised on the CR2032 or the more common sizes.

I totally agree, their battery choice is poor in my opinion.

Managed to find the CR927 battery on Amazon uk, Jenny at least you didn't break your ones when fitting the battery like some other RUclips 🤭 ( sam Trains) really like these wouldn't mind a set for myself but at the moment that this moment in time can't afford them.

Not really relevent, but I purchased a watch from Aliexpress in China - it was delivered without a battery, and the only place I could find that had them was on Ebay - and guess where the battery was sent from - yes, China!
