I don't think the end from Saint Malachy's prophecy is the end of the end, but the end of the present age. We might be nearing the great chastisement followed by the renewal of the Church. This is hinted by many other prophecies.
I saw a Miracle on VHS in the 1980s where a Protestant boy gave his testimony (amongst many others) before & after Our Lady's apparition. My father was fascinated by Nostredamus and bought me a book of his quatrains. I read it and it was interesting but I never felt as though these predictions were real. It is possible that some are true but I think more out of sheer luck and volume then prophecy. Love the show and tell as many people as I can about it. The small talk is because it's a talk show, not an apologetics show. I sorta shared the same sentiment as you when I first started listening to these guys. Then I realized that my disappointment was because I expected it to be something like Catholic Answers, but it's just a talk show with Catholic guys talking about Catholic things. Once you come to accept the show for what it is, I think you'll begin to better enjoy and appreciate it.
The end of the world happens every day to thousands of people and to everyone eventually. Dont waste your time worried about when everyone else will die for your day may come a lot sooner. Live every day for the glory of God.

The prophets of the Bible are much more reliable.There are Catholic mystics which are not necessarily given official approval by the Church doctrine for the purpose of edifying the followers of Christ. There are more interesting mystics than Nostradamus and he definately cannot be considered a prophet.

The Bible contains so many prophecies from God that prove it to be true, but Nostradamus was an occultist. Another thing that proves the Bible true is archaeology.
Why didn't you guys talk about the Church's positions on the actual Eschatology in the prophetic passages throughout the Bible that are being fulfilled now and have not been revealed yet? Why didn't you touch on the fact that the scriptures tell us that the Spirit of Prophecy is Jesus Christ and that it is the glory of God to conceal these matters and the honor of Kings to discover them? There is more but no need to blog about it here. It just seems like every Catholic prophecy conversation completely ignores biblical prophecy.
DM Saint I have a hard time getting a straight answer about end time prophecy from any catholic priest or nun. They seem to always state the same thing, different words, essentially: ‘the world has been in “tribulation” since Jesus died, we do not know the time nor day’. I get the impression that nobody within the Catholic Church thinks it’s coming anytime soon. “Nas”’s predictions were not that of God, IMO.
Do not even think about leaving the Eucharist or the Apostolic Flock, the Church Jesus founded. Or the m.b.v.m. and her army of 250+ canonized saints. Saints are Excellent inspiration, Saints are granted a portion of Devine knowledge. Saints can bi-locate, and have access to the throne of Yaweh,, the Uncreated Heavenly Father. They can hear our prayers and intercede by asking permission to approach the throne to speak on our behalf. Saints are informed of time and day of their re-entry into the Kingdom. The organic carbon components of the human flesh are incorruptabl and will not biodegrade.

I normally like this show a lot, but I have to agree with others that this episode wasn’t the best. I do like their humor but this one really did lack any serious focus whatsoever, so in turn I couldn’t focus long enough to watch the entire episode. 🤷🏻♀️
Only halfway through and I have to comment. The Malachy prophecy is written so that what people interpret as the last prophecy (indicating Pope Francis) should be better interpreted as two prophecies, indicating one last pope after Francis. Per the Apostolic Constitution, the papal elections must take place in the Sistine Chapel or if that is not possible, within Vatican City. If there is a civil disturbance such that a required number of cardinal electors cannot assemble within Vatican City, a papal election cannot be held. If some of the cardinals insist on holding an election, the person elected will not be an antipope (the previous antipopes were in fact validly elected per the rules in place at the time), this man will be a false pope, WITHOUT the charism of infallibility. The Church will need to be run by an administrator (which has happened in the past) until a synod of all the surviving bishops can be assembled and the Church effectively re-established. Some old Catholic prophecies state that Sts. Peter and Paul will appear to select the new Pope. There is a 20-mile canal connecting the Volga and Don rivers in Russia, just south of Volgograd. There are a number of very important Orthodox monasteries in the region. If the Pope travels to Moscow to meet with the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church, it's possible that one of the diplomatic trips would be to that region, to Volgograd, the city of two rivers.

In the archdiocese of Toronto we pray the Prayer to St.Michael at the end of every Mass. Cardinal Tom Colllins has asked all parishes to pray it.

The proclamation of a definite time for Christ’s coming called forth great opposition from many of all classes, from the minister in the pulpit down to the most reckless, Heaven-daring sinner. “No man knoweth the day nor the hour” was the argument most often brought forward by rejecters of the advent faith. The scripture is: “Of that day and hour knoweth no man, no not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.” Matthew 24:36. A clear and harmonious explanation of this text was given by those who were looking for the Lord, and the wrong use made of it by their opponents was clearly shown. The words were spoken by Christ in that memorable conversation with His disciples upon Olivet after He had for the last time departed from the temple. Paul speaks of a class to whom the Lord’s appearing will come unawares. “The day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, ... and they shall not escape.” But he adds, to those who have given heed to the Saviour’s warning: “Ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Thus it was shown that Scripture gives no warrant for men to remain in ignorance concerning the nearness of Christ’s coming. As the people were roused, and began to inquire the way of salvation, religious teachers stepped in between them and the truth, seeking to quiet their fears by falsely interpreting the word of God. Unfaithful watchmen united in the work of the great deceiver, crying, Peace, peace, when God had not spoken peace. Like the Pharisees in Christ’s day, many refused to enter the kingdom of heaven themselves, and those who were entering in they hindered. The most humble and devoted in the churches were usually the first to receive the message. This is true. The prophets of the Bible are much more reliable.There are Catholic mystics which are not necessarily given official approval by the Church doctrine for the purpose of edifying the followers of Christ. There are more interesting mystics than Nostradamus and he definately cannot be considered a prophet.

The Bible contains so many prophecies from God that prove it to be true, but Nostradamus was an occultist. Another thing that proves the Bible true is archaeology.
Why didn't you guys talk about the Church's positions on the actual Eschatology in the prophetic passages throughout the Bible that are being fulfilled now and have not been revealed yet? Why didn't you touch on the fact that the scriptures tell us that the Spirit of Prophecy is Jesus Christ and that it is the glory of God to conceal these matters and the honor of Kings to discover them? There is more but no need to blog about it here. It just seems like every Catholic prophecy conversation completely ignores biblical prophecy.
DM Saint I have a hard time getting a straight answer about end time prophecy from any catholic priest or nun. They seem to always state the same thing, different words, essentially: ‘the world has been in “tribulation” since Jesus died, we do not know the time nor day’. I get the impression that nobody within the Catholic Church thinks it’s coming anytime soon.

Only halfway through and I have to comment. The Malachy prophecy is written so that what people interpret as the last prophecy (indicating Pope Francis) should be better interpreted as two prophecies, indicating one last pope after Francis.
Per the Apostolic Constitution, the papal elections must take place in the Sistine Chapel or if that is not possible, within Vatican City. If there is a civil disturbance such that a required number of cardinal electors cannot assemble within Vatican City, a papal election cannot be held. If some of the cardinals insist on holding an election, the person elected will not be an antipope (the previous antipopes were in fact validly elected per the rules in place at the time), this man will be a false pope, WITHOUT the charism of infallibility. The Church will need to be run by an administrator (which has happened in the past) until a synod of all the surviving bishops can be assembled and the Church effectively re-established. Some old Catholic prophecies state that Sts. Peter and Paul will appear to select the new Pope.
