Portland had a net loss 18,200 residents from 2020 to 2022, making it the 6th fastest shrinking city in the nation. No doubt it will lose more this year. People don't flee desirable places. Portland was great 10 or 20 years ago. Now it is becoming Detroit 2.0 due to moronic woke policies, lawlessness and a dying downtown. All the good foodie places aren't going to make up for that.

I swear, do people do anything other than eat when they travel? Like what a waste of an experience to spend most of the time just shoveling sugar down your gobs.
Oh, I'm sorry. Can't forget all the "gardens" too, mustn't not see all the same exact frickin' plants over and over again.

Just finished the video, like I said. Moves way to fast, shots of sites are so short you blink and you miss it. You do not show you besides eating donuts enjoying the area. SLOW DOWN, we want to see the sites but we also want to see you enjoying the sites to make us want to go. Quit speed talking during the narration. It's like you just want to get out of it, just give the facts as fast as you can and stop. Just my FYI !!! Sorry if I offend you, just trying to help. Love to see you guys make it. Think you do have the right stuff. Best of luck !!!!!
Now onto watching you stuff that is more recent than 2 yrs ago.

OK, I have just watched 2 dozen you tube about Oregon since we are going sept.28, 2024. I like yours the best because you look like you like the places you went, like normal people. Do have some downfalls of the video. Not about you as narrator, but other things.
    # 1 : Get a better back stop beside a blank white wall behind you, so sterile.
    # 2 : You change photos so fast nobody can see what you are showing. Most last like 2 seconds. Show like at least 10 second clips of what you want to show. Or at least show a video clip of what fun is is to be there. Pictures are a dime a dozen. You guys seem better than that.
    # 3 : Slow down your narration, you talk way to fast. Explain why people should go there slowly, how beautiful it is. Fell passionate about what you are saying instead of trying to CRAM what would be a 15 or 20 minute video into 10 minutes.
I don't mind watching a 20 minute video if it has love for he area, some history and good video. You guys are on the right path. With that said, I am going to watch some future videos to see what you have. Like I said, half a video and I like you.

@Mihaela I grew up there and watched as the tent cities slowly started taking over every patch of grass next to the roads. I've worked in businesses while a random guy is urinating on the front window. I've been threatened by random lunatics who thought I was following them when I just got off of work. The police don't show up to deal with crime, but they will definitely pull me over 7 times in 3 months for no discernable reason. My family forked over more than half our income just for rent in some of the worst parts of town. We couldn't save. The daily crime was getting out of control. The city was literally watching us because somebody complained that we were always doing repairs on our cars, so of course they had time and resources for that.
Thankfully, we managed to get out before the riots, and everyone I talk to that moved out of there after I left has told me things have just gotten worse.
