I grew up 13 miles South of Cannon Beach in a little beach town named Manzanita, which has a population of 550. What an incredible place to grow up. Blessed! I remember when I was young and had not learned anything about bioluminescence. I was down on the beach with a family member hunting Japanese glass fishing floats when I happened to notice my footsteps began to glow green. I thought it was nuclear waste. LOL! I have never seen blue in person before. It's just beautiful.

@@wildzenventures I read lastnight the water is always very cold , I guess thats why i dont see many people swimming at the beaches. I just realized west coast sea water is colder than east coast, I never knew this. On the east coast the water can be warm and relaxing.
@@heythere6983 Plenty of folks get in the water on the hot summer days. People who surf here wear wet suits. I’m traveling to the East Coast as we speak! 👍

Go to Fiji next, there's direct flights from San Francisco, Los Angles and Dallas. Denarau beach, Mamanuca Islands, Laucala Island, Suva and Taveuni are beautiful. My mom is from Taveuni they call it the Garden Island.

Are the beaches usually foggy and chilly ? I never been but when I heard this I got disappointed. I heard it rains and is foggy most of the year etc.
