FINALLY a video that shows the real Oregon!!!❤️❤️❤️🌲 I get so tired of seeing sunny day videos. The cloudy rainy moody misty weather is a major MAJOR part of the beauty/appeal and adventure of the NW. Well done! So beautiful!
Hey Marc - I really appreciate that! I'm glad that you enjoyed. If you ever find yourself in Upstate New York - give me a shout. I've taken out hikers who could still call you a "young man"! I'll have a new similar video from Colorado coming out soon that I think you'll enjoy too. Thank you for watching! -Brian
This soon to be 71 yr. old is heading to Oregon in May. We are going to hit as many places as we can on our 10 day trip. I doubt we'll be doing that much hiking but I can't wait to see all the beauty of the coast and the waterfalls. Wish us luck! 😄
The quality of this video had me expecting that this channel had a large amount of followers! Great video, extremely underrated channel! Can’t wait to binge your videos!!
I lived in Silverton for two years, and one of my favorite places was Silver Falls State Park. You filmed it beautifully. As also the redwood forest near Crescent City....having grown up in the redwoods, it felt like going home to this 63 year old heart. Thank you!
Love that you came in the off season. The Gorge and all its waterfalls are absolutely gorgeous in late spring or summer, but jam packed with people. I love Oregon in winter, the cold rain and moss still keeping everything green. Great video!
You did such a beautiful job showcasing Oregon. I wish you had been able to see the East side of Oregon. The desert is gorgeous. Your cinematography is just outstanding. Bravo to you! Thank you for this. ❤
Thank you for recording these sacred forests of Oregon! It's so heart braking the horrible devastation of the 2020 fires. I'm grateful for this reminder. ~Rebecca
I was stationed on a radar site in 1969 at North Bend AFS (no longer military). The coast line of Oregon is probably the most beautiful in the world. I hope the recent fires haven't destroyed all of that beauty...it would be a shame. Fishing was my favorite hobby and Oregon offered it all to me, both ocean and fresh water. Thanks for bringing back so many incredible memories of my too short life there.
I've lived in Oregon my whole life. Your video showcases the state beautifully; especially the lesser known places like Sam Boardman and a few of those waterfalls.
Lovely! Lovely! (And, slightly funny). You're at the sites of many fond memories--friends' weddings, picnics, adventures, etc. And, you snuck in a few sights of the wildfire devastation that I've been avoiding like an ostrich with my head stuck in the coastal sands. The beauty is still there. And, it doesn't usually snow on "this side of the mountain." That probably made for some slow travelling and emptier viewpoints, too. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed Maeg and that it brought back some fond memories! Hoping the wildfire areas continue to recover and get back to what they once were! Travel wasn't too bad except for the few snowy areas, but viewpoints and parks were pleasantly quiet. Thanks for watching! -Brian
Next time you're out here in Oregon, you have to see Crater Lake. When you were in Grants Pass you were only about 2 hours away. But don't try it in winter! Beautiful video of our state!
I live in Roseburg, just west of Glide. I'm glad you got to explore and experience our once beautiful world. If I'm being truthful, this brought on all the feels. Thank you for sharing your pov. I especially was takin away by the enchanting snow covered hiking trails.
@@RouletteTravel My family and I are planning on moving to the St. Helen's area. I was born in Oregon (Coos County) but have spent majority of my 40 yrs exploring the Umpqua and coastal area. I'm really looking forward to experiencing some new locations. I love the Umpqua but you can hike the same trails only so much before it becomes uninspiring. If you haven't been to the Cave Junction area, check it out. The caves down there are awe inspiring. Doesn't cost a whole lot, there's hiking and a really amazing lodge where you can stay right at the caves and on a clear day you should be able to see the ocean.
As an OR resident of some years I feel like many people underestimate how narrow the season is on so many things. I guess that applies to much of the west especially the national parks. Nearly all have at least partial closure all but a few months of the year.
Never seen one of your videos before but wow very impressive! We are just getting started on our YT channel and I was expecting you to have a ton of subscribers with this quality! Also adding a lot of these places to my bucket list! Subscribing to see more!
Thank you very much for doing this video! Oregon is one of my dream places to go, never been. I'd really like to live there or somewhere like it, wished I were born someplace beautiful and full of nature like Oregon. Those forests, trees, waterfalls, rivers, etc, are my soul. I don't think I'd be able to just visit, or I wouldn't be able to make myself leave!
Excellent video guys! I live in Oregon and have been to several of your visited falls. I was glad you did not miss the Toketee Falls. I've been there a few times and even in the summer its dangerous to try climbing down off the landing: I really cringed when i watched your attempt and glad you made it out safely, I am also glad you made this trip and video before the fires this year of 2021,
Reddit and Meadow brought me here, but your channel is absolutely awesome. Great pics, very pleasant to listen to, background music is on point Keep doing what you're doing, liked and subbed
Love the video, stumbled on it by chance and sure glad I did. I’m a southern oregon native and can see the table rocks from my house. Oregon is a beauty and has so much to offer! Happy trails!
Beautifully made, and you chose some great spots...If there was snow in the Rogue Valley, I'm guessing you didn't have much chance at accessing Crater Lake. For anyone visiting the Oregon coast, read up on the dangers of the tides and cliffs. There's multiple tragic stories every year, and most of them don't involve any risky behavior.
Hey man thanks for your time filming and putting this video together I am sure it made those hikes that much harder. I lived in Beaverton for 4 years you covered more in 12 days then I did in 4 years. You must have been exhausted. Everything you're saying I said the same thing. Driving up the coast you can stop every 5 minutes it's so beautiful lol. That place is prehistorical I kept waiting to see a dinosaur walk out. Thanks again great video.
Thank you Mike! Glad that you enjoyed! and yeah we were pretty much going non-stop for the trip, but still a few easygoing days here and there. Definitely was waiting for a dinosaur to pop out of some of the old growth forests. Looking forward to another trip in the future (and my video from colorado will be out in a few weeks time as well)! - Brian
Watching from Wilderville/Grants Pass OR 2023. Not an Oregonian native, from Southern Cal originally, and I've yet to visit Multnomah Falls. Some of those treks looked harrowing! Dutch Bros is a thing here lol. Scenery never gets old. ..this gave me some inspiration :)
Awesome production!! Congrats for the video, quality is superb. My wife and I are heading to Oregon parks in two more weeks we are looking forward to be there!!

@@RouletteTravel Thanks for the info. I'm planning to take that hike you did down to the natural bridges in Samuel Boardman but it looks hella sketchy. I must conquer my fear though, because that is an epic droning spot, and the bird *must* fly.
I may not hike as much as I could given my primary shoes are Renegade boots, but I do love going on long drives up and down the Coast and Cascades. Oregon is a beautiful state. Even the high desert has its beauty.
Hope you made it back to OR to see it when the wetness and cold isn't here - such a beautiful state. Too bad you didn't make it to Sisters. Be certain to come back and fly into Bend if need be. Great town and tons to explore in the section. My son lives there - think the gkids are so lucky growing up there. Lots to do and see there. Hoping you see more of Oregon than waterfalls while here on this trip - ok, back to watching your video for me.
Definitely want to go back and see more of what I didn't get to see on this trip! We only covered a sliver of this great state. Thank you for watching!
Leaving for the PNW very soon! Your vlog helped so much and the vid was outstanding, mesmerizing! I'm so pumped after your doc! I grew up at the base of the Helderberg Mountains, NY :)
I'm glad you enjoyed a great taste of wild and wonderful Oregon! Great job documenting your trip. The sound and the feel is sooo different in the forest with the snow.... love it. Glad you captured the beauty of "off season". Edit: and I remember my first road trip to the coast and seeing the color of the Smith River. With the white caps. Amazing.

aye man keep doin ya thing this was awesome, I’ve been wanting to go to Oregon for so long I watch so many in state travel videos. This one made me feel like I was there
Hey, I live in Oregon. It's the most beautiful place on the planet. The entire Pacific Northwest is. But we don't usually tell people that because we don't want everyone taking over our home. Lmao. Yeah but I highly recommend it. Once this is over you should explore it. Places I suggest are Bully Creek Reservoir(Walking on the dam is eerie and awesome), anywhere on the coast. But Coos Bay and Lincoln city and anywhere there is great. The Oregon Dunes are awesome, haven't been there since I was little though. The shrublands and deserts are great too. Also, visit every, single, mountain, it's worth it. Although I haven't been to all of them. Mt. Hood is great. Also Checking out adjacent places are nice. The Redwood Forest in California, Mt. St. Helens in Washington, tragic and epic stories from the eruption in 1980. Like over 40 people died, and this one guy walked through a mud flow and survived. All of those places. Again I highly recommend Oregon. I know all(a lot of if we're being realistic) you'd need to know just ask. Stay safe!
Awesome experience! It will serve me while playing my trip to Oregon next April . Warmer weather should be pretty awesome also 🌲🍄🍀🪸🌙 Thank you for sharing ❤
I appreciate this video, but I’m telling you man, you gotta go in the fall or summer. Lived there all my life. And a place to see some beautiful snow capped mountains year around, central Oregon.
In my opinion, north american nature is the most beautiful because it’s so diverse. From taiga to deciduous forests to tundra to deserts to Mediterranean biome to rainforest
Great video! These places are about 45 minutes from our home! We have tracked through many of these areas & each time Come back with the appreciation of God’s handiwork!
They are quite the places, aren't they? I felt quite small in the universe particularly among those redwoods and the coastal megaliths! Very cool place to live so close to! - Brian
Haha thanks Laura! I actually adopted my own dog about a week after getting home from this trip! That pug definitely wanted more pets and laptop time, that's for sure. Thanks for watching! - Brian
Nice video man! Heading out to do a similar trip in May. Did the Western Washington trip 4 years ago in April and loved it but ran into a lot of snow closed roads. Between the snow and crowds timing in the PNW is tough. I find I can cover more ground and prevent a lot of backtracking not setting up base camp and just stopping between destinations for lodging
Come back and enjoy all the coastal views when the sun is out and the mud is gone - quite the places to see - Hidden Beach at low tide, there's just a long list. Don't miss the Washington beaches either. I've only done 3 and there's many more.
My home 🏡 born in Benton County. Corvallis Oregon in Willamette valley. I love how close to wilderness I always am. Traveling to the Alsea area, and the Oregon coast is only a short trip over to get crab and have a good exploration. It's the best.
great video! just an FYI, you don't have to contact local police to get authorization for drone flights. download the app called airmap to receive FAA authorization for where you plan to fly, this will help you not miss opportunities! but as always be careful of the wind! I almost lost a drone in iceland with winds similar to the ones I saw in this video
Thanks Philly! Hope that you get out on some more hikes soon, and thank you for the follow! hoping to have my next video up from my Colorado hiking trip soon - stay tuned! - Brian
New sub here, great channel! I'm getting ready to hopefully head up to Oregon soon, hopefully before it gets too cold and snowy there...can't wait, first trip! As a photographer I cannot WAIT to go!
I just feel like i should say it; Its complete bullshit you don't have at least 20k subs by now. thats 100% honest, the production quality deserves more attention. good work my friend. Don't let the low numbers kill your passion. I'm sure people will jump on the train soon enough.

Come back and enjoy all the coastal views when the sun is out and the mud is gone - quite the places to see - Hidden Beach at low tide, there's just a long list. Don't miss the Washington beaches either. I've only done 3 and there's many more.
Thank you for these recommendations!
I want to do the same as you. Way to go brother nice video
My home 🏡 born in Benton County. Corvallis Oregon in Willamette valley. I love how close to wilderness I always am. Traveling to the Alsea area, and the Oregon coast is only a short trip over to get crab and have a good exploration. It's the best.
it was one of my favorite places ever! Sounds like a great place to live too Ben! Thanks for watching! - Brian
Amazing footage
Thank you!
Awesome
Imagens incríveis! ❤
Parabéns! 🇧🇷
Great video man, loved all the content. I look forward to much more.
Thanks Cam! Excited to keep putting put more. - Brian
@@RouletteTravel you're very welcome
great video! just an FYI, you don't have to contact local police to get authorization for drone flights. download the app called airmap to receive FAA authorization for where you plan to fly, this will help you not miss opportunities! but as always be careful of the wind! I almost lost a drone in iceland with winds similar to the ones I saw in this video
Awesome video man, something i love doing is hiking. I Was in Washington not long ago, but didn't get a chance to hike. Following for sure man.
Thanks Philly! Hope that you get out on some more hikes soon, and thank you for the follow! hoping to have my next video up from my Colorado hiking trip soon - stay tuned! - Brian
Thanks very much for doing this! I am thinking of moving to either OR or WA. Awesome footage. Thanks for all the hard work man!
Of course, glad you enjoyed! Check out my video from Colorado too if you haven't seen it yet!
Great vid. Thanks for the info and inspiration. Doing it this April.
Thanks Phil! hope that you enjoy the trip! - Brian
Oregon is cool during the winter
Definitely have to agree!
Woweee. I'm watching it right now and this is helping big time. Love it!!! Very beautiful I love your video.
New sub here, great channel! I'm getting ready to hopefully head up to Oregon soon, hopefully before it gets too cold and snowy there...can't wait, first trip! As a photographer I cannot WAIT to go!
Thank you Laura! Hope that you get up to Oregon and are as blown away by the scenery as I was. It's a photography paradise - enjoy! -Brian
Спасибо за путешествие по Орегону, надеюсь удастся туда попасть, наш Кавказ тоже красив
So beautiful. Thank you.
Thank you too!
Wonderful 👌
Thank you!
I live in oregon and I have never gone to many of these places
I just feel like i should say it; Its complete bullshit you don't have at least 20k subs by now. thats 100% honest, the production quality deserves more attention. good work my friend. Don't let the low numbers kill your passion. I'm sure people will jump on the train soon enough.
Thank you Phoenix - I really appreciate that! Have stalled a bit this year getting new content out, but hope to get the ball rolling again soon. Stay tuned! - Brian
