I am overwhelmed by all of the support and requests! Thank you! I can't guarantee that I'll get to everyone's requests, but it is my intention to sincerely attempt some of them. Thank you for your patience as I balance a busy life while also earning a doctorate! Music is meant to be shared! ~Jess
Theatre Piano Accompaniments by Jess Modaff I know it's new AF, but if you could do Playing Nancy from Groundhog Day the Musical I would love you for forever!
Theatre Piano Accompaniments by Jess Modaff if you can ever get to it there isn't an accompaniment for avalanche (Kerrigan and lowdermilk) anywhere that I can find. I'd love you until the end of time

Am I the only one who found this hard to sing along to for the first time? I'm so used to singing the original, that my brain took a minute to let me take it up a step. I had to stop, sing the first note of the original, then take that up a step, then start over. Good job though!

This really helped my daughter! she has a soprano voice and had a hard time hitting the low notes. Shes super happy now! she told me she wants to sing it now for a drama club fundraiser! Thank you again!
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I have a musical theatre showcase this week and I've been ripping my hair out trying to find a backing track! Even though I'm a soprano, this should work!!
Emma G Do you need it any higher? I *think* I am able to send you an MP3 a half or whole step higher if you like. If that interests you, send me your email address.
Theatre Piano Accompaniments by Jess Modaff thank you so much for being willing to do that for me! unfortunately i already had to send in this track to my director and they have put it on an official CD so i can't change it. thank you so much though!!
Theatre Piano Accompaniments by Jess Modaff I know you are very busy! If you are able to find time, I'm interested in an MP3 of this in the higher keys! alexandriazambelli.az@gmail.com thank you 😊
Oh my gosh hallelujah! I've looked all over for a instrumental version of this song that fit my vocal range and this is PERFECT! Much Love to the makers!!!!
Rylie Fales Hey there! Just one maker here. Thank you for the compliment. Glad you found it useful! I am a music professor who loves theatre, accompanying, and learning music by ear. Those three passions brought about my channel. ☺️
i honestly don’t think i’ve ever sung this song so well before. this is transposed BEAUTIFULLY and makes me feel so proud of myself. :) thank u so so much 💗
Whenever I I sung this song, I felt like I was always out of key and couldn't go low enough and it always sounded awful, but with this transposed version, I felt like this was the first time I could sing it without feeling like I did a terrible job, thank you so much this helped soooo much!
You are an absolute legend this is PERFECT! Any chance you fancy turning your hand to You Matter To Me from Waitress. I have the sheet music if that any help?? :-)

Bless you and your talent! Thank you so so so much. I'm a musical theatre student and I was supersad knowing I couldn't sing any of Evans songs. Thanks to you I can now. And I'm so damn happy. Would it be okay for you if I used your playback for some dramatic lessons at college? Just for the rehearsal. I'd also love to make a cover and post it on Instagram or RUclips. BUT I'd totally understand if you wouldn't be okay with that. Just... Please know that I'm very grateful and happy. Greeetings from Vienna :)
I've learned this song by heart and plan on doing it for a choir concert as a solo for our variety show. I've been trying to practice with out Ben's voice (not that he isn't a terrible person to sing along with), but I haven't been able to find a good karaoke version. This is totally helpful and easy to follow! Thank you for making this!!
Brittney Northcott I’m a soprano but I learned how to sing this in different ways so that I’m not hitting the incredibly low notes. The key is to just sing it all in your chest voice and have strong breath support to go lower in the song
I’m trying to do a compilation of songs for my little sisters for Christmas of songs that mean a lot to us and this helps so much. I’m a mezzo but the original key is so low. Thank YOU! ❤️💖
My school is holding this thing called Proms, basically people sing and I haven't been able to find a good backing track, but this is perfect! I'll certainly request for this to be the track that is used for my audition and performance, if I manage to get in! Edit: Didn’t get in.
ok so funny story: only AFTER I purchased the sheet music in this key did I realize "oh, haha, look at that, I'm actually singing it down the octave!" This is basically perfect for my voice down the octave though, so thank you!!!
Theatre Piano Accompaniments by Jess Modaff Would you be willing to send to me in a higher key? Another whole step up would probably be perfect! songbyrd1088@gmail.com
Love this accompaniment so much, it's still good, though a little too low for me. I'd love to hear a version transposed up so the starting key is D or Eb maj.
This is only a whole step higher. The highest note is on octave above middle C with the lowest still more than an octave below middle C. Translation - this is still comfortable for a tenor and too low for most women. It is a very slight change and should in no way be too high for a female unless she is a low tenor or baritone, in which case the original might also be too high.
It's easier to think of it as a piano I find, so one piano key above the note you play (often a white key to black key) is a half step. Two of those is a full step, so yeah a C to a D would be a full step, or a F Sharp to an A Flat
I am overwhelmed by all of the support and requests! Thank you! I can't guarantee that I'll get to everyone's requests, but it is my intention to sincerely attempt some of them. Thank you for your patience as I balance a busy life while also earning a doctorate! Music is meant to be shared!

Theatre Piano Accompaniments by Jess Modaff what key is this in?
B major
could I use your accompaniment for a performance later this year for choir?
this version has mezzo soprano and alto energy
as a mezzo with a 2 octave range - at least *something* does
Coming from a mezzo who was an alt i can agree with this
Coming from a mezzo who is constantly being forced to sing soprano - it does
Haha I'm a soprano....
And yup, this is alto and mezzo energy for sure! It was really low haha. And that's on having a tiny vocal range
damn right we finally get something
Sopranos get everything else, at least let us have this version.
im confused by this comment bc im a sorpano and its fine?
@@minoena exactly its too high for me :/ (an alto)
tea freak oh, can you sing the regular version then? I can sing both, I know the original is lower lol
@@minoena yeah i can sing the original. looking back on this comment it really doesnt make any sense lol
@@minoena I'm a soprano and the lower notes are just too low for me so I guess everyone's voice is different

Can you please do other DEH songs for female voices? Like For Forever or Words Fail? That's be amazing. This was so good!!
When things quiet down in my life, I think I can post a few more in a female key. I'm with you - so nice to be able to sing some of these great tunes!

I LOVE this! It's the perfect key for me to do this song in, and the arrangement works so well, it's full of emotion throughout. Thank you!!
Usually a mezzo but after barely singing during lockdown, other transposes were too high for me! This is perfect, thank you so much
FINALLY MY VOICE CAN REACH THE HIGH NOTES PERFECTLY THANKS-
Also- can i use this for a singing competition in my school?
I didn't realize how much I needed this until I listened.

I'm a soprano and I can get down to the lowest note here
really? as a mezzosoprano, i can't imagine singing higher there...
It’s still kinda low
Laurin Severin S. D. Q. yea i’m a coloratura soprano i really don’t have range in the lower register lmao
Thank you so much for this!!! I found this video yesterday and used it to audition for my high school show choir today!!!!!! Yay!!! I love this song!
I'm singing this for an audition and I can't sing as low as the usual one, but this helps so much thank you! :)
YASSS THIS IS FANTASTIC
As as alto THIS IS PERFECT🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

THIS IS AMAZING! THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS
YESS THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THANK YOU!!
BLESS YOUR HEART I WANTED TO SING THIS FOR A SCHOOL TALENT SHOW BUT THE ORIGINAL WAS TOO LOW THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS
When the "step out of the sun" is still to low for you xD I guess i'll never sing this song and i don't know how ok i am with that lmao
The bridge is the real problem as it's significantly lower than that!
Stumbled across this today. Thanks for this piece, I'm obsessed ☺
I'm a bit of a soprano + alto "mix" I guess and this is literally the perfect one for me, not too high, not too low.
Wonderful- but too low for sopranos ://///
Brittney Northcott I’m a soprano but I learned how to sing this in different ways so that I’m not hitting the incredibly low notes. The key is to just sing it all in your chest voice and have strong breath support to go lower in the song
Brittney Northcott yeesss
It was okay until "when you're falling in a forest." That's pretty much impossible for a girl without flipping up the octave.
Yeah
I'm soprano and I worked through it, and it sound spretty decent. :/
This is great! Can you please do Sincerely Me?
Eventually, yes! Working on some doctoral exams I've got coming up. When life quiets down a bit I hope to post more.
Yes! A few friends and I have been trying to find accompaniment for "Sincerely, Me!" I can't wait to hear it!

THIS IS MY PERFECT KEY THANK YOU SO MUCH
All of your accompaniments are great! Would you be able to do Dust and Ashes from Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812?
Wow, never heard of this show but it seems to be a popular one! I'll try to tackle it this summer.
And thank you!
Awesome! Thank you!
Its my dream to play a gender bent version of Pierre. A female version of his two big songs, Dust and Ashes and Pierre would be AMAZING
Oh my god thank you so much for this!
You are welcome. :-)
I’m trying to do a compilation of songs for my little sisters for Christmas of songs that mean a lot to us and this helps so much. I’m a mezzo but the original key is so low. Thank YOU! ❤️💖
THANK YOU SO MUCH. THAT'S SO AWESOME YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH THAT MEANS TO ME

Thank you SO MUCH. I wanted to do this song, but I couldn’t comfortably sing the original. This is great!
My school is holding this thing called Proms, basically people sing and I haven't been able to find a good backing track, but this is perfect! I'll certainly request for this to be the track that is used for my audition and performance, if I manage to get in!

Ik! Its too low for me,though the other instrumental that suits my voice key has no ending
ITS STILL LOW??? HOLY MOLY THIS IS HELLA HIGH FOR ME
Do you need a higher copy? I can email you an mp3 in a higher key.
Theatre Piano Accompaniments by Jess Modaff Would you be willing to send to me in a higher key? Another whole step up would probably be perfect! songbyrd1088@gmail.com
Could you email me a higher key? I would really appreciate it! crimsonjanel1@gmail.com
thank you soo much!!! this fits my voice so well argh
Love this accompaniment so much, it's still good, though a little too low for me. I'd love to hear a version transposed up so the starting key is D or Eb maj.
Yes, exactly! That would be perfect for most altos and mezzos. Potentially STILL too low for Sopranos with the bridge being on the low D or Eb.
i already just needed the piano music instumental
all theater kids who saw this probably peed their pants, thank you so much
I would absolutely love if you would do you more of these these are amazing!!!!
YOU ARE A SAINT
Bless your soul!!
This is awesome, thank you so much!!
Could you transpose "Candy Store" From Heathers for Males?
YOU JUST SAVED MY LIFE OMG THANK YOU
Thank you so much for this.

Big thank you !
Thank you so much for this
it's amazing
I SCREAM U ARE THE GREATEST
Perfect key!!! All the other transpositions for female are slightly too high thank you so so so oooooo much xx
This is PERFECT for my voice tysm!!!!!!
this was amazing! you should do a piano to "No one Else" from Natasha Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812
I'll put this on my summer to-do list!
I know you learnt this by ear but would you be able to come up with the sheet music for this??
I love how you play the piano keep it up !!

What is a STEP in music language? Is it like from C major to D major? (Sorry, I can only speak music in Portuguese hahaha)
It's easier to think of it as a piano I find, so one piano key above the note you play (often a white key to black key) is a half step. Two of those is a full step, so yeah a C to a D would be a full step, or a F Sharp to an A Flat
I love it! Thank you
THANK YOU
THANK YOU SO MUCH
This is awesome!! I don't suppose you have sheet music to go along with it? I'd love to do this for my schools showcase coming up x
Thanks so much!

You are so welcome! :-)
You are wonderful! Can I suggest you do some of Joe Iconis' songs? Also I would really love to have "Nobody Needs to Know" from TL5Y in a women's key!
