Good router but I’d still recommend using at least one or two wifi extenders paired in mesh mode if you got a big house or live in an older apartment building with brick walls might need a booster for the 5GHz band.
16:42 i think your laptop's wifi card is functioning properly as you stated it is a wifi 5 compatible device, whereas your phone device i believe is mi 10t pro 5g (like mine) is a wifi 6 compatible device hence the faster speedtest result
You should have changed the ISP modem from route mode to bridge mode as it warned. Then the front ISP modem would be just a transparent and not make the same stuff as your TP LINK,. If not put in bridge mode, you will have two local area networks in a row and also "double NAT" which is bad.
Is AX23 improvement over AX20? I see AX23 is missing High-Power FEM, but it says on manufacturer site AX23 outperforms AX20 on range. How can that be without the FEM module? Which one has a better range then? :)
Trying to connect this router to an ONT modem from Jazztel and it fails to get an internet connection. This seems to be a common problem and requires extra settings in the TP-Link router set up page, something to do with VLAN settings. I've added '20' into the network VLAN field (as per others instructions) but it also needs a number in the VoIP field and that's where I can't find any info.
Hi. I just bought this modem because of its advertised Gigabit WAN port. I set it up, but I noticed that the WAN port is fixed to 100Mbps Full Duplex. How do I switch it to 1000Mbps as advertised? I went through all the settings but was not able to find the setting for it. Thank you in advance!
Hi, I bought a Tplink , single mode mediacon for my AX23. Converge uses an optical fiber but AX23 doesn't have that interface. My problem is that I don't know how to configure my AX23 and could not connect to the internet. I sure you have a lot of knowledge about this. Appreciate if you could help me with this.
I've used a different tp-link router back then and what worked is connecting one of the converge modem /pldt LAN port or any other isp lan port to the Router's LAN1/WAN port and follow the configuration setup. The PH ISPs designed their system that us, users, cannot bypass their provided modem/router.
I'm not sure if you still need the info, unfortunately we cannot. Our ISPs designed their system to rely on still having their modem unlike in america where you can buy routers to replace the one provided by their ISPs. This has been the case decades ago. You can use routers such as this for the functions that are not available on the converge modem (qos, dual band wifi, etc.)
i tried everything with this routerrrrr it s so annoying i did conected to the modem with lan cable and it looks that it works but in games it s so bad i hope this video will help me if someone knows anything abt this problem pls tell me
You can try a few things for troubleshooting - Speedtest - check if how much is the ping your getting from your iSP. (there is a big possibility that your iSP maybe the one at fault and not the TPLINK router) - Check the Cable that's connecting the TPlink router to your ISP modem
Finally! Someone actually showing how to properly set it up. Unlike MOST of the other vloggers, all they do is promote the product. THANK YOU.
Thanks for a really good explaination of the TP-Link Archer AX23 AX1800, it's not on sale here in Canada yet.

I would grab the AX10 instead (triple core, 256 ram) but only if you do not need a usb port. I've never used it personally.
A versao do AX23 V1.20 vem com um processador de quatro núcleos.
you skipped the ONLY feature I wanted to see. Why ignore the guest network config?

Is there an option that we can control the speed of the individual devices that is connected to the router?
They recently added this as an update. You can now set upload and download speeds per device.
