I'm from Detroit MI, My significant other is from Halifax. I've been a big fan of the show. I was able to meet Hope today... She REALLY is so personable and down to earth. NS is an absolute gem.
I heard about hope for wildlife from Angie Blackwood, James Blackwood the racoon whisperer's wife. Bless these people for helping save our wildlife. I would be heartbroken everytime an animal didn't make it. It takes very very special people to do what they do! What an incredible rehabilitation center!! Thank you for your video. Wonderful video! We flew from the West Coast to Nova Scotia specially to tour the grounds and to have our 11 year old granddaughter meet Hope. She wants to be a vet; loves all animals. And we met Hope. A beautiful lady inside and out. Truly a kind soul. Our granddaughter asked Hope if, once she’s old enough could she volunteer. Hope was amazingly gracious and attentive with her. We left a behind a rather large donation so Hope can continue her valuable work.

. i am just watching the show about Chester the bald eagle and totally disagree to put him down because he has arthritis . if you are caring for animals he could have lived in captivity there also with his arthritis and pain control . i have arthritis too and hope no one decides to put me down .
