I’m from Halifax. I love your videos! What I love about living here is that we enjoy the four seasons. Yes sometimes the winter cold may extend into spring for a little longer than we want, but to me that’s better than having the same temps all year long. Makes life more interesting! Take care guys!
Totally agree! I remember at one point we thought we'd move from NS and the city but I don't think we ever will. We love it here! So glad you like our videos 🤗 Say hi if you see us around - Anna
Hello mam... I am from India!. I got selected in Halifax farmers limited company.. Is this best place to work?.. I am an MBA graduate and i applied job in Halifax farmers limited for sales and marketing profile via LinkedIn.. please tell me whether this company is real or not...This is so important for me mam.. Thank You
We've always heard about how freezing cold Canada is 😱 sounds like you guys are being real troopers and making the best of the freezing weather 😄❄️ we are from South Africa so we are used to warm sunny weather all year round ☀️
Lawrencetown is one of my favourite beaches. When I am able to come home from Ontario I go to visit one of my really great friends out that way, and when coming from Dartmouth to Lawrencetown and coming up and around the bend and the ocean and beach comes into view, it makes my heart so happy. I might be the only one, but I miss my east coast winters.
Martinique Beach is the longest white sand beach in Nova Scotia at almost 5kms long. I like walking it. But, for swimming... A very small beach called Porters Lake Beach. It is on both sides of the highway. One side has little pebble rocks and the other side is all sand and you can walk out so far before it gets deep. Also, it's fresh &salt water. 😁(you get to the sand beach by going through the "tunnel" under the highway)
Hi Trevor and Anna I loved Nova Scotia when I was there in summer and I would come back again. This year winter has not been so bad as freezing days..Great video
You had the same weather pattern as we had in Michigan this year. December and January weren't all that bad, but we got hit in February with lots of snow and plunging temps. We just never know which month will be the worst. I find that after going through the cold winter makes me appreciate Spring all the more! Stay warm you two!
thanks for showcasing NS, i moved here 12 years ago from the UK and love it, there are so many little gems around this Province, we are fortunate, (pre covid) to have lots of regular visitors and get to check out many parts of NS, but even now we still find new spots :) Cape Breton is stunning, we have visited there at least 6 times and still havent seen a moose ! the valley and south shore are other favourite spots for us. Nearer to my home in central NS, highly recommend tidal bore rafting for an adventure and you can stay in a log home and Victoria Park is a stunning place in Truro :)
Oh my goodness, it looked so cold. I had to postpone my vacation once again but hopefully we will make it out of here soon. That burger looked so delicious. Thanks again for sharing.
Love the vid guys, you are so delightful and appreciated. Hang in there, spring is just ahead. I agree that February is not super, but tomorrow, it is over! And where I live in Ontario, seniors 80 plus can book vaccine appointments this month. Hooray 👏🎈 and great news. Can't wait for this to all be behind us. Thanks again for the awesome NS content, we never miss a vlog.

But my fave is Darrells burgers. They’ve won awards. You should check it out! And favourite beach in the area? Martinique. It reminds me of a beach that shouldn’t exist this far north. Like a displaced Caribbean beach. Long white sand beach. Decent waves...down side is the waters are freezing at the best times but it’s so beautiful! Keep up the good content! :)
Hey Adam.. thanks for stopping by 😀 Somehow I've not once had a Darrell's burger 🙈 We often order from them but I just love their pitas. May get one tonight actually ha. We'll have to check out Martinique at some point. It sounds like South Harbour beach in Dingwall NS. It also doesn't look like it should be here - Trevor
You need to try to take a drive down the Eastern Shore in the summer to Martinique and Clam Harbour, they are all sand as far as you can see. While down along the Eastern Shore try to enjoy the fish & chip shops. Gazoo's in Porters Lake is a hit with the locals. A+ for the clams & home cut fries. The Harbour Brewing Company in Musquodoboit Harbour is a great hidden gem too.

You might be freezing but love the winter wear. Ya might not be feeling good, but you're looking good. Any consolation, down here in NJ we are just starting to see some greenery under the 24 plus inches we were covered in. Probably sent some your way.
We feel you guys. The warmth of the sun on your skin makes you smile all the time, no matter what. Dutch winters will be less cold compared to yours in Nova Scotia, it really looks beautiful. We're looking forward to travel to Greece later this month. Be sure we'll send some Greek sunshine your way.
Oh Greece... where will you guys go there? That's likely the first stop for us once we are vaccinated. Which is likely late this year in September sadly - Trevor
My husband and I are planning to retire in or near Halifax. We are from Montreal and the winters here are far from fun and we miss the ocean. My husband is from Dover England, a city very similar to Halifax in size weather and proximity to the ocean. Every time we go to Halifax, he gets nostalgic and wants to reconnect with sea side living. We are beach bums and we intend to spend our retirement hiking and enjoying the beach life.
Conrad's is such a great beach! It's my go to for close to home beaches. You must hit the North shore this summer, endless beaches! If you head that way I may have a few hidden gems for you to check out!
Great video. The beach with snow was beautiful! I respect your decision not to travel right now and your positive attitude about trying to enjoy and appreciate where you are, even if you’d rather be somewhere warm. Y’all are my favorite travel bloggers, even when you aren’t traveling far!
Crescent beach is my favourite because you can drive on it! You guys should try the Smashie burger from Side Hustle Snack bar. Pickford and black also has an amazing burger.
So many beautiful beaches...Summerville, Carter's on the south shore, or Clam Harbour, Martinique on the Eastern Shore. I love Winter in Nova Scotia. As long as I have a nice cozy fire to sit next to. Beautifull crisp air... never too cold for any length of time. We are having a very manageable winter, hardly any snow. Would take this weather any day than hot a humid...maybe it's my age👵🤣
Love that beach!! March has started brutally cold as well. Hmmm...first winter you have been home and it’s freezing...coincidence? 😂 I think something is trying to reinforce your need to travel during these months I love Taylor Head beach
If you are looking for a great place to eat ( and a little road trip during this cold snap) try out the Turkey Burger on the south shore. Their fish and chips is worth the trip! Enjoy!
Hi Trevor and Anna. Thanks for showing us our beautiful Lawrence Town beach and how Dartmouth and Halifax look in winter for people all over the world to see.👌👌👌.I have always taken my 2 children when they were young to Lawrence Town and other beaches with picnic lunches and used to spend the entire day there swimming in water, walking and playing during every summer. Brought back memories. 🙏🙏🙏
Hey Trevor & Anna - Great video! We made our first trip last summer to Rissers Beach. Loved it!! You got to love Battery Park! The Pig Mac burger is a great choice too. The Smash burger at Side Hustle (North Brewing) on Cole Harbour Rd is pretty tasty also!! Cheers!
South shore beaches are the best in my opinion! (Mind the sharks 😅) I love Rissers + little Rissers, Carters, Hirtle, and Cresent! This summer my sister and I discovered a beach on second peninsula called bachmans.. and it might be my new favorite! 😍
I grew up on Crystal Crescent but in recent years, it has to be any beach on an island in Mahone Bay. Being out on the island with just your own family/friends is just an amazing state of mind.
My husband and I are beach bums too and this pandemic has obviously put a damper on our travel plans....we are sooo anxious to get back to traveling again! 🌴🌊🌴🌊
Hey there Anna and Trevor.. great video today! It sure is interesting to see Lawrencetown beach in winter...I could almost feel that cold sea air coming at you. Intriguing and bone chilling at the same time! I would have to say my favorite beach in NS, is Kennington Cove beach in Louisburg! The drive out to it is beautiful, but the views from the cliff overlooking the beach is awesome...and there even a second beach just up the same road and it's just as pretty. We love the awesome waves here and we have body surfed and paddle boarded here maybe times , when we were younger! Don even took our canoe out there and had quite the experience riding the waves ! Made for some interesting photo ops! As far as a favorite beach in the warmer climates...it's pretty hard to beat Guardalavaca beach in Holguin , Cuba! We met folks there who live in Havana, but we're visiting family in Banes, a few miles away, and they even said it was a favorite of theirs! Loved the burger experience...you realize you are making it so we need to visit all these places now!!! We'll be checking this place out for sure this summer! Thanks for sharing this with us today. Stay safe ....Kiki. 😊
It hasn't been below 0 for more than a day this winter. Halifax has had only a few flurry's so far and it's now the 17th of January. We will get snow in February but I can handle a month or 2 of winter.
Oh my hat those burgers looked delicious! We're having our hottest weather going slowly into Autumn. May spring arrive for you guys asap as that looks so terribly cold. Take care and stay warm.
@@DelightfulTravellers there is currently 25cm dropping on us. We are in a weird microclimate out here in the highlands. My parents have none in New Waterford!
Anna n Trevor u guys look like a really nice couple so far n I noticed Anna how much Trevor loves u due the fact he always filming u walking , the way u do. Btw guys I didn't know Halifax is milder than Toronto , place where I do live. It looks so beautiful Halifax n I wish to visit it n eat some lobster lol. Cheers from Toronto. José Luis
Thank you both for braving the cold to show us around! I’ve never experienced snow on the beach! Good thing guys ; TOMORROW IS MARCH! 😊~Cara great video guys!
Stay safe and warm guys. And thank you for dispelling the myth of Halifax/NS being the coldest place in Canada. As a transplanted Haligonian now living in Toronto, I can confirm that the common misconception is bunk. Cheers, Dan. 😄👍🇨🇦
A little late watching this but love seeing all your outings, have been to many of the beaches nearby but cannot really remember my fav as it has been awhile - maybe Martinique? but further out I believe. Glad to hear your honesty as I am sure you are finding it difficult staying put. Not as frequent travelers as you guys but already missed out on 3-4 trips and would def be on a beach now!!
Favourite beach is probably Melmerby but there are lots of great beaches in Nova Scotia. I went to Martinique last summer for the first time and it is beautiful....I love to walk on the beach and Martinique is the longest beach in Nova Scotia...great for walking.
We have had a fairly mild winter in Manitoba as well, until the last few weeks. We went through an extreme cold of -25 to -40 with the wind chill for a couple of weeks. We are Manitobans though, and tough it out knowing spring is around the corner. We also love beaches, and are lucky enough to have several including one of the top 10 inland beaches in Canada, Grand Beach. You will have to check it out if you ever make it to Manitoba. Enjoyed the video as usual!
Burrrrrrrrr ! ! ! It's still pretty, though, with your sparkly water and intensely blue skies. Looks like y'all have a similar forecast for today as us here in Denver, except that yours includes wind. UGH! We too got snow a few days ago, about 33 cm. The snow is pretty but certainly makes life more of a challenge (but I'm happy we got the snow). Good to see that you're hanging in there. Burrrrrr ! ! ! :D
Believe it or not our snow here as melted already. But it is quite windy out like you said. We hear so many good things about Denver. We can't wait to get there someday - Trevor
@@DelightfulTravellers Is it common for your snow to melt that quickly? I always hear horror stories about the snow staying around for months in more central & eastern areas of Canada and the USA. Our area typically has lots of warm days in the winter months, where it's possible to sit outside during the middle of the day.
Just found you guys and am loving it! (will let all ads run!) We live in SW Ontario (talk about gorgeous beaches!!) but our family is spread all over the country and love seeing our beautiful country through others eyes. Not being able to travel has been hard but safety first! We are foodies also, so that is always good to hear about places to check out; eventually. Maple syrup season is coming; just a thought! Stay safe
Hopefully the weather has got warmer by now in and around Halifax. It has warmed up quite a bit in SW Ontario now. Temps are above zero. I'm not a fan of the frigid cold either so it's a relief that things have warmed up again.
My favorite beaches would be Clam Harbour and Taylor's Head Beach. Melmerby Beach is pretty great too. Those burgers looked amazing and I have not tried them but the best burger I have eaten in Halifax would have to be The Peanut Butter burger from Darrell's.
Fav beach - The Hawk , Fav burger - Westcliff Hamburger & Fries . Plus a few hidden gems to check out this summer for food : Transcotia in Brooklyn , near Liverpool .West Head Takeout in Clarks Harbour and Windlass in Kellys Cove near Yarmouth . Fro Beaches : Beach Meadows Beach near Liverpool and Crescent Beach in Lockeport , not the one West Dublin . love watching your viseos !
@@DelightfulTravellers The Hawk is on Cape Sable Island the southern most tip of Nova Scotia . White sand and maybe the longest beach in N.S. Beautiful area to visit , Lots of birds , the drowned forest and plenty of seafood ! Also another beach close to Hfx is Terence Bay Beach , small but nice .
You need to head out to the country, especially if you get a snowmobile going. The night sky seems really clear in winter weather for stargazing. There are countless trails through the forests for snowmobiling. Lots of places for warm fires and hot chocolate or stronger drinks. Just get out of the city.
Oops, I got carried away--I love non-crowded beaches. The amount of rock and/or seaweed on beaches in Nova Scotia can vary a lot as some storms throw a lot up on shore while other storms drag it back out to sea. There is always rocky sections at Lawrencetown but this video is the worst I've ever seen it there so I hope some storms clean it up. Lawrencetown is obviously best best beach for surfing but as a avid non-surfing ocean swimmer, Lawrencetown it is my favourite beach in NS for body surfing as well. The waves are awesome there--I've been sent tumbling into underwater summersaults there before. Port Hood, Cape Breton: leisurely, ocean swimming. Beautiful setting and village with two very distinct beaches in one and both have prefect sandy bottoms. A world famous golf course there does not impede it much at all. Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct: stunning, no beyond stunning, beach and hike with amazing vistas and variety. Very sparsely attended. Just remember a black blear has never killed anyone in Nova Scotia! I've never seen one there myself but occasionally they do close the hike/beach due to them. Not much grass there but stay out it for the ticks. Martinique Beach: great hiking, especially if you continue on passed the end of the beach to hike the Bayers Island Archipeligo. There are a few sections with killer flies (only a slight exaggeration) in the scrub that you'll have to run through. Beautiful but not Keji Seaside beautiful but a lot closer to Halifax. A little further down the eastern shore and Clam Harbour Beach is a lovely beach and hike as well. Five Islands PP: beautiful park with amazing views and the tides are something to be seen. Unfortunately I think they had to close the clifftop hike due to erosion (not sure if they recut a safer one since). However with a bit of research you can learn to hike along the ocean floor at lower tides to Solar Cove Rd (vice versa is probably better) and you won't believe you're in Nova Scotia. Way less than 1% of Nova Scotians ever done it but it is a must, must do. Muddy in a few places so you need sneakers or something that won't come up when you pull your foot out of the mud. Did I say it's a must do! Cape Split beach: not the best beach by any means but worth the stunning hike and the adventure of making it down to the beach. The vistas from Cape Split (especially the end by far) are well worth the hike. Most people don't know about the beach but not far from the end on the opposite side from how you hiked out is a large rope (is it still there?) that can be used to help you down a fairly steep hill to the beach below. Bay of Fundy waters are cold due to the massive churning of the water from the highest tides in the world and I'm the only nut I know of who has swam on that beach! Hemeon's Head: best hidden gem that few people ever see. You have to know what you're doing to make it there and too many instructions to go into it and you also have to take measures against ticks. But what a hidden gem it is.
Great video, as usual. I know there was a big explosion in the Halifax harbour, during the WW1. How far was is it, from the place you were standing? Just being curious...
-9 is not that cold, in Montreal, Ottawa temperatures drop down to -30 for a week in late January and February usually. -34, that's cold. Nova Scotia doesn't see cold that low because the ocean regularizes temperatures, less hot in the Summer, less cold in the Winter here.
-9 is cold to us (we normally are travelling) and many other Nova Scotians. We're well aware of our warmer climate trust me. -34 is crazy cold agreed! - Trevor
Do you like any winter activities? I live in Ontario, February is not my favourite either but at least we got a lot of snow this year and we can be outside. I hate early spring in Canada with the cold, rain and slush.
You talk easily it does not look like real cold. When it's cold in my town we cannot talk our mouth get frozen. I just arrive in Halifax from north of quebec where winter is -25-40 Celsius. I can wait to see how it is. Planing to bike from harrietsfield to the mitary base all winter I even bought winter studed tires lol.
If you had moved to Halifax from Toronto, I bet you would be happy to see snow on the sidewalks that is actually white and looks like snow unlike the gray-brown crap it turns into in Toronto, ans you have to look at these piles of frozen crap for several months in a row because they will disappear only in May or something.
5:27 What kind of beer (going flat) is that...? Do North Americans not like head on their beers...? Maybe for the weather the "Good Robot - Banana Wizard" might have been worth the try...? (Porter in winter is gooooood) . . . Pickles are a must on burgers... Salad not so much... ☺
Yeah head on the beer isn't really a thing here. You'll see it happen with a beer here and there but they definitely aren't flat. Totally forget what kind of beer I had sadly 🙈 Maybe an IPA - Trevor
Don’t make Ontario out to be worse. Ontario missed the worst of that cold polar vortex earlier this month. It’s been an easy winter compared to others near Toronto. Today is +7°C and it has been raining on and off. Green lawns are starting to show again where snowbanks did not exist.
We're not trying to do that at all. But in general we're way warmer here with the ocean. It probably depends on where you are in ON really. We can't wait to get back there! - Trevor
@@DelightfulTravellers The greater Toronto area is a bit special too. It’s surrounded by large lakes that moderate extreme cold. The last time that Lake Ontario completely froze over was in 1934. I guess it’s been even longer since the Atlantic Ocean completely froze over though. Other parts of Ontario - brrrrr!

Our pleasure! Thanks so much for watching - Anna
🙏🙏🙏🙏.
Cheers!
We haven't been to Rissers in a very long time. I'll have to try that Pig mac as well Ron! 😀 - Trevor
Amazing Halifax..!! One of the places that us..living in Canada must visit.
You have to come visit Halifax as soon as restrictions lift 🤗 - Anna
South shore beaches are the best in my opinion! (Mind the sharks 😅) I love Rissers + little Rissers, Carters, Hirtle, and Cresent! This summer my sister and I discovered a beach on second peninsula called bachmans.. and it might be my new favorite! 😍
I grew up in Lawrencetown!! This beach was my playground. Thank you for doing this post :-) ♥️
Good idea to wear sun glasses, even though I know they're your trademark 😎 Congrats on the 77.5k subs so far.
Thanks 😎 Little by little we'll hopefully get to 100k. It's a long road yet but we're up for the challenge - Anna
I grew up on Crystal Crescent but in recent years, it has to be any beach on an island in Mahone Bay. Being out on the island with just your own family/friends is just an amazing state of mind.
oh gosh, living in parrsboro is so much colder than halifax :(
the ocean sure is soothing though
lovely video xo
Hopefully you can keep warm there. Does the brewery tap room stay open in the winter there? We so dig that place - Trevor
We heard a lot of good things about Kennington Cove beach. We'll have to try and get there this summer. We'll be up in CB a lot! - Trevor
It hasn't been below 0 for more than a day this winter. Halifax has had only a few flurry's so far and it's now the 17th of January. We will get snow in February but I can handle a month or 2 of winter.
That burger looks delicious the chicken one
Lol today here feels like -25 and its so snowy and slippery to drive
Oh my hat those burgers looked delicious! We're having our hottest weather going slowly into Autumn. May spring arrive for you guys asap as that looks so terribly cold. Take care and stay warm.
Thanks SO MUCH for this vid - my wife & I are thinking of living part of the year in the Halifax/Dartmouth area.
Glad it was helpful!
Winter is always hard this time of year. I find March the hardest and then by April I'm feeling better lol. That chicken burger looked so good!!
All the snow has pretty much melted here already. How's it in CB where you guys are now? 😀 - Trevor
@@DelightfulTravellers there is currently 25cm dropping on us. We are in a weird microclimate out here in the highlands. My parents have none in New Waterford!
@@ODriscolls That's so weird. I wonder if my folks have any in North Sydney? 🤔 It must be Kelly's mountain that creates that climate where you are
Anna n Trevor u guys look like a really nice couple so far n I noticed Anna how much Trevor loves u due the fact he always filming u walking , the way u do. Btw guys I didn't know Halifax is milder than Toronto , place where I do live. It looks so beautiful Halifax n I wish to visit it n eat some lobster lol. Cheers from Toronto. José Luis
Loved the mix of color between the bright blue skies and the pure white snow 😍😍😍
It really looks neat right? 😀 I so wanted to fly the drone but it was way too windy. Too bad! - Trevor
Thank you both for braving the cold to show us around! I’ve never experienced snow on the beach! Good thing guys ; TOMORROW IS MARCH! 😊~Cara great video guys!
Yay March! That's promising and we're looking forward to Spring haha - Trevor
Loving your vlogs guys. Wish i can feel the cold. 😀
There's lots of cold to go around 😅 - Trevor
I look forward to getting to know "the darkside" haha, better this summer. There are lakes and parks I keep hearing about.
if you live the beauty of this amazing country i think you even forget about the cold!!!❤️️
So true Luna! - Anna
Stay safe and warm guys. And thank you for dispelling the myth of Halifax/NS being the coldest place in Canada. As a transplanted Haligonian now living in Toronto, I can confirm that the common misconception is bunk. Cheers, Dan. 😄👍🇨🇦
I think Halifax might be the second warmest (next to the Vancouver area) during winter. Hope things are good in TO for you! - Trevor
I know you guys decided to stay in canada...philippines is now open for travelers
We know a few islands are open for domestic travellers. I don't think they are allowing international folks yet - Trevor
North Brewery for the win Thomas Riddell for the swim!!
We so luv North Brewery and Ace Burger! Yum - Anna
We hope we can get there at some point. Maybe even this year if the provinces open up a little - Anna
Hello. I hope you'll do a road trip tour of the entire Nova Scotia during summertime. You can also include PEI and New Brunswick, too. :)
We don’t have one single road trip video but there’s lots of NS vids we have on the channel
Stay safe
Welcome aboard! How'd you find us? mmm maple syrup 🤤 - Anna
@@DelightfulTravellers travelling from my recliner at the moment
Hopefully the weather has got warmer by now in and around Halifax. It has warmed up quite a bit in SW Ontario now. Temps are above zero. I'm not a fan of the frigid cold either so it's a relief that things have warmed up again.
It's 5C here today and the snow is pretty much gone haha .. we'll take it! 😀 - Anna
My favorite beaches would be Clam Harbour and Taylor's Head Beach. Melmerby Beach is pretty great too. Those burgers looked amazing and I have not tried them but the best burger I have eaten in Halifax would have to be The Peanut Butter burger from Darrell's.
Hubbards Beach is really nice. Water is warm for swimming and have a raft to swim out to.
We were there yesterday! Never seen it so busy - Trevor
Martinique Beach is stunning !
The Hawk? Where is that at? I don't think we know that one 😀 - Trevor
Crystal Crescent Beach outside of Hfx is my favorite.
Such a great beach! - Anna
Wow what a great comment full of amazing beach tips. Thank you. I hope others see this as well 😀 - Trevor
Carter's Beach and then Port Maitland in Yarmouth area.
Great video, as usual. I know there was a big explosion in the Halifax harbour, during the WW1. How far was is it, from the place you were standing? Just being curious...
The Halifax Explosion was closer to the place we moved from actually. In the North End - Trevor
Can't get over all the stones on the Lawrence Town beach.
It's such a great beach right? - Trevor
You asked our favourite beaches. Mine is the one in Tor Bay Provincial park
We have never heard of that one! Looking it up now 😀 - Anna
As a fellow Canadian (New Brunswick over here) those coats didn’t look very Canadian winter ready 🤪
haha we get less snow here 😉
Ace burger, the year I was born. 😀 My air conditioning is too cold for me. 🥶
We can only do air conditioning at night while we sleep. I also didn't realize you're such a young'n John 😀 - Trevor
@@DelightfulTravellers Your funny. Just open your window. Plenty of cold air outside. 😁 Keep warm. Thanks.
Halifax is by far the warmest place I have ever lived.
- Trevor
Winter. What can I say. But those burgers really do look tasty.
The burgers are getting us through it Steve 😅 Seriously though they are so so good - Trevor
Do you like any winter activities? I live in Ontario, February is not my favourite either but at least we got a lot of snow this year and we can be outside. I hate early spring in Canada with the cold, rain and slush.
We're not really into winter activities but if we're here again next year we'll have to get into some haha - Trevor
we are in northern Ontario; it sounds balmy there right now. ...lol
haha it's been quite warm other than on this day. Today it's 5C - Anna
Thanks for the video. Burgers looked great, but does Trendy and Cool mean expensive?
It sure does mean expensive 😅 Welcome to Canada ha. Did you see those prices? - Trevor
@@DelightfulTravellers No. But I saw the comment that wasn't very nice. Stay as you are and safe.
You talk easily it does not look like real cold. When it's cold in my town we cannot talk our mouth get frozen. I just arrive in Halifax from north of quebec where winter is -25-40 Celsius. I can wait to see how it is. Planing to bike from harrietsfield to the mitary base all winter I even bought winter studed tires lol.
grew up going to Queensland Beach
Great video i live in porters lake !
You live in a great little spot there! 🤗 - Anna
If you had moved to Halifax from Toronto, I bet you would be happy to see snow on the sidewalks that is actually white and looks like snow unlike the gray-brown crap it turns into in Toronto, ans you have to look at these piles of frozen crap for several months in a row because they will disappear only in May or something.
cebu beaches are much warmer and nicer then in canada , too cold for me lol
Warmer yes.. but beaches everywhere can be beautiful no matter the temperature 🤗 - Anna
high tide you get lots of sandy beach at low tide .. check out happy dudes surf shop
5:27 What kind of beer (going flat) is that...?
Do North Americans not like head on their beers...?
Maybe for the weather the "Good Robot - Banana Wizard" might have been worth the try...?
(Porter in winter is gooooood)
.
.
Point Michaud Beach (St. Peter’s, Cape Breton), Pondville Beach Provincial Park( Isle Madame, Cape Breton), Port Hood Beach , Cape Breton ( warmer waters on the Northumberland Strait). ❤️☀️🏄🏻♀️🏊♀️🛶🛎🛎🛎
All such good suggestions Bernice 😎- Anna
Don’t make Ontario out to be worse. Ontario missed the worst of that cold polar vortex earlier this month. It’s been an easy winter compared to others near Toronto. Today is +7°C and it has been raining on and off. Green lawns are starting to show again where snowbanks did not exist.
We're not trying to do that at all. But in general we're way warmer here with the ocean. It probably depends on where you are in ON really. We can't wait to get back there! - Trevor
@@DelightfulTravellers
The greater Toronto area is a bit special too. It’s surrounded by large lakes that moderate extreme cold. The last time that Lake Ontario completely froze over was in 1934. I guess it’s been even longer since the Atlantic Ocean completely froze over though. Other parts of Ontario - brrrrr!
