Kyuho! Absolutely loving the new hair style. It suits you so well. Looking mighty handsome. Halifax looks wonderful. Hopefully, someday Kevin can go to Korea. You guys look like you had a great day. I love starting my Sundays with a cup of tea while watching your videos.
My boyfriend always came to Korea for me. So this time I'm going to Halifax, my boyfriend's hometown, next year. This is my first time traveling to Canada and I'm so nervous, but I was motivated by this video. So beautiful Halifax!
Thank you for sharing your visits! I love going out on outings. Very pleasant to spend some time w/ your wholesome personalities. Yes , Kyuho’s hairstyle looks good. It’s longer than usual and looks healthy.
Hi Sarah! Hi Kyuho! Hi Kevin! It’s so much fun to see you three out and about together. What a beautiful area! Halifax, Canada in general has been on my bucket list for a long time now. Everything about your country is stunning! I love how Kyuho gets so happy with wanting to try different treats. That Italian Market…..OMG! So happy that you got your carrot cake, Sarah. Thanks for taking us to your favorite places and sharing your day with us! Take care guys! See you next week.
Halifax is definitely a must visit during the summer months 🌞🌊 We will DEFINITELY be heading back to that Italian Market again-wow do they have amazing desserts!
You do a good job of showing the city. I'll admit that I don't watch much of the normal content, but I've been watching the Halifax vlogs for a few years now; the vlogs have become a part of summer and it's definitely a bittersweet moment when they end. Much love from Dartmouth.
Kyuho's new hair style looked awesome! Like Sarah, I also like to sometimes casually check out rich people houses online or cruise by their boujee neighborhoods lol!
Love the new hair cut and styling Kyuho! Makes you even more handsome looking! 😀 Glad that you had such a nice day in downtown Halifax, with the best weather to be outside. ☀ I also hope you had a good flight back to SK, and for a gentle/pleasant re-adjustment to the Korean time zone. See you next Sunday!
OMG! Kyuho looking mighty fine with a new hair style! I was busy looking at the beautiful scenery in your video that I didn't notice Kyuho's new look until the close up at Halifax Harbour. Woah! 😍
Fellow Haligonian bakery enthusiast here 😉 you guys always showcase Halifax so beautifully❤ loved seeing the Italian Market, their lemon lavender cookies and buzz cakes were a huge part of my childhood 😂 It’s too bad that Julien’s quality has gone WAY down over the years - next time you visit you should definitely try the treats at Terra Cafe in the Keith’s Brewery building on the waterfront, or Pane e Circo - my favourite desserts in the city! I hope you guys had an amazing visit😊
I’m currently on vacation in Hawaii but couldn’t go to sleep without first watching your Sunday video! I’m sad that Summer’s coming to a close. Kyuho’s going to miss Canada. I love seeing how mesmerized he is by everything there. 😁 🇨🇦
I live vicariously through you both when you get to go home to such a beautiful country ❤ Another great video with such nice calm vibes 🤩 You guys are my favorite channel when I want to unwind at the end of my busy day!
I didn’t know Halifax was your hometown! I spent many of my summers until I was 19 in Bedford (my grandparents lived there) so I bet we passed by each other at some point. And then again, we were both in Seoul 🇰🇷 haha such a small big world!
take him to st johns to see the jellybean row houses, i think he would be beside himself with them! however i can't guarantee the newfoundland weather will treat y'all right depending on the time of year lol
omg i used to live just off quinpool on one of those shady streets when i went to university, a lot of my friends still live in the neighborhood. it’s such a beautiful part of town! glad you had such a beautiful day here, it’s always nice to see the city through a tourist’s eyes.
Furthermore on those nice looking houses, the home owners take care of them. It's one thing to have an expensive house, but it's another to keep it in good condition as well. Glad most of them looked in really good shape still!
Everytime I see one of your Canada videos, I’m struck by how different the two countries’ scenery look. Can two cities look more different, Seoul and Halifax? It must be a little jarring to experience it. Halifax is absolutely beautiful in summer, but I’ll bet the height of winter there is brutal, with the short days being just a bit depressing at times- that winter days in Seoul aren’t also a challenge. I have SAD, so I’m not at all looking forward to winter’s dark, dank days here on the Atlantic coast of Virginia. That said, I LOVED seeing you three enjoying the beauty that is Halifax in summer. Such a charming town! I loved watching Kyuho’s excitement as he soaked up the sights. Summers you spend in the cooler climate of Canada always seem to be so healing to you both. Can’t wait for the next Canada vid. You do them SOOOO well!
I also have SAD and let me tell you…Halifax (and Nova Scotia in general) is so, so brutal for those with SAD during the winter months (not to mention winter is basically from November to April there). In the summer, however? One of the most beautiful places you’ll ever see 🌊💙

Love your video, we have been to Halifax 3 times but by cruise ship, we do the water front, cut over to Barrington st, eat at Gangnam Korean restaurant, make our way to the Citadel and then zigzag our way to see old homes on our way back to the ship, yes we need to mix it up next time.
Guys you always do a great work with your videos. Keep up with this quality editing. Every time you post a video about Halifax makes me go and explore that Canadian lovely city so badly lol. Greetings from Connecticut 🇺🇸 I’ m planing to go and explore Nova Scotia in the near future 🤗🙏🏻
Never been that 1K like before ❤ I love those kinds of little towns with really cute stores and restaurants. Niagara on the lake is cute like that, and Port Hope. I am sure there are many places like that. Quebec has some really pretty streets with the cobblestone roads. I love places that look so cute and pretty. Have you visited Saint louisbourg?
Sarah, that's Beemo on your shirt. ❤ I got that sometimes when my first cat passed on. To tell me that she can now travel with me together, like what I had always wished for.
I'm in Toronto and Halifax has a feel of small towns in Ontario. Btw did Kevin lose a lot of weight? He looks much slimmer than he did in previous videos years ago. You look great Kevin! Share some tips if you can. 😉 I would also love to see Kevin being interviewed...what he thinks about Korea and Korean culture, food etc. LOVE all your videos. Thanks for posting every week! ❤
OH! The Celtic cross grave marker there in the cemetery? Someone my grandmother knew is there. I was there for her funeral in the 1970s. I remember that. Maybe the 1960s even.
Yep. That was my Superstore. And I would go to that Starbucks on Young street after Java Bland Coffee Roasters. Java Blend was right across from my place on North street. It closed at six so I would go to the Starbucks there.

Did you know that St. Mary's in Halifax is the 2nd oldest Roman Catholic university in Canada? Any university with St. in the name is Catholic. It's such a beautiful school. The architecture is amazing. I am not Catholic but I appreciate the buildings.
I was there in 2018 (edit: 2019, my brain malfunctioned while writing this comment because I was running on like 4 hours of sleep). My experience was THE BOMB!

I enjoyed your visit to dowtown Halifax. Sarah, when you said the houses is like a million dollars; in Ohio, it wouild be $200,000 - $300.000 in USA dollars. We bought and is building a 2 million dollar house right now. It has basement, main floor and upstairs including 5.8 acre lot. We are having geothermal, about 36 solar panels put on the grass, and clay Spanish tile barrel style roof like Koreans have and we are not living near the water.
Hey Sarah! I’m genuinely curious where you bought your white cap at 10:37 in the video. I’m traveling in South Korea now and am looking for a white cap with a wide brim like yours!
That beetle is a Japanese beetle! They are invasive and have been destroying Halifax , especially so this year. If you noticed that many of the trees / flowers / bushes leaves’ look like lace, it’s because they’re eating literally everything! Lol.
So your Korean boyfriend's "hometown" is Halifax? Right... Halifax is MY hometown and my family history in the North End (where you were at the Hydrostone) goes back more that one hundred years. I'm about two hours away now, the other side of Truro towards the North Shore of Nova Scotia. But I DO have a view of Prince Edward Island. I like that. The South End is a beautiful area too, but the houses are expensive. They cost so much some of them get bought up and torn down for multi unit housing. This is a good video, but don't forget for all the glitzy destination activities there are others who are NOT doing that.
Umm, no 😅 See the 5:22 mark (and we also explained in the description box). My husband’s hometown is Seoul and mine is Halifax. We spend every summer here visiting my family. I was born and raised in the HRM (lived there for nearly 25 years) until I moved to Korea. Don’t forget, this video’s entire purpose (as per the title) is a guide to show some spots in Halifax that visitors may enjoy if they are in the city for the day 🌊
@@2hearts1seoul Oh, sorry! My bad! Yeah, I misunderstood that. But there is a Korean community here. Some of them go way back. And more recent arrivals too. I say Halifax is Vancouver without the exciting Asian cultures because it is getting expensive here. And at that mark, you are on Young street outside the Oland's Brewery warehouse. The big beer factory. I walked that sidewalk many times over the years. And I can remember a time before that warehouse was there. Oland's was really expanded after Labatt's bought the company in the 1960s. My sister and I get to the Ardmore Tea Room when she comes back from Toronto. I like the fishcakes with beans and fries. Great breakfasts, too. Next time try the Bluenose II resturant at Hollis and Duke streets. Right across from the blue and white office tower. 1801 Hollis st. And the cat you said hello to at SMU? That is Carlton! I've been told he lives across the street and he comes over to visit on the campus. I think there is a bed for him behind the front desk at the library. And treats too! Cheers, Michael
@@michaelrmurphy2734 No worries! :) breakfast at Ardmore Tea Room is always a must for us when we come for a visit 🥓🍳 And thanks for letting us know Carlton’s name! Such a sweetie 🥹
@@2hearts1seoul HAHA!! Everyone at SMU knows him. I think SMU should have a "Carlton On Campus" tracking website. And speaking of Carlton, The Carlton at the corner across from the convention center is a great music venue. The Economy Shoe Shop and the Lower Deck, too. Did you do Asian Studies at Saint Mary's? How did you get to Korea? I like Kpop but I don't like the abusive, sexist TV shows the female idols get put in. Too creepy and weird...

:) breakfast at Ardmore Tea Room is always a must for us when we come for a visit 🥓🍳
And thanks for letting us know Carlton’s name!
