Bullshit. Johnny lost because Kreese pushed him too far. Made him compromise who he was, while Daniel fought despite an injury to gain balance, honor and self-respect.
I like how Kreese in Cobra Kai gets a lot of development and proves he's more nuanced than just being your typical old 80's villain. While you can argue perhaps rightfuly that Terry is indisputably evil, I think that's because while Kreese was only corrupted by his teachings from Kim Sung-Yun (sorry if I misspelled I'm running off memory rn), Silver was further corrupted by the most evil force of all - greed. I genuinely do think Kreese wants to make amends with Johnny as of Season 5, but he might not be ready to admit that. Kreese really is a wild card though, literally the most unpredictable character on the show.
i think mostly what it boils down to is hubris; don't forget he the was the defending two-time all-valley champ & he was just some novice learning karate from a maintenance man so i think he got cocky as a result
Betsy's death permanently scarred and psychologically messed Kreese up for life. What happened to her will always deeply hurt him no matter how much time passes. Betsy was Kreese's world, she was the only person he loved so much and deeply cared about, her warmth, gentleness and presence calmed Kreese in a way he never felt before and she also brought much joy to his life, he was madly in love with her, the letters she wrote him and just the thought of coming back to her after the war is what kept Kreese going through the unimaginable horrors in Vietnam and when he found out about her tragic death from Captain Turner the compassionate and kind hearted man who had normal feelings for others was destroyed. Losing Betsy was not only the final blow to Kreese's humanity but was also the main reason why he turned into such a cold, heartless and merciless person which he would be for the rest of his life.
If we think about it, he Isn’t exactly lying here, Johnny was way more experient than Daniel, his Physical was way better, but with all that happened in the movie until there, Daniel was way more focused while Johnny was mentally disturbed, his head wasn’t in the game…
They should bring back the referee (Pat E. Johnson) in Karate Kid (original movie) . Kreese cared about Johnny that he paid the referee off in Karate Kid so that Johnny could lose so Johnny could feel defeat and focus on karate instead of girls and Daniel. That is why the referee allowed the illegal crane kick so Johnny lost. That is why Kreese walked passed Daniel and Mr Myagi after the fight and just gave them a look. Then he went straight to Johnny to scold him and ruff him up. For the next season, the old referee feels bad about what he did to Johnny after hearing how his life turned out and wanted to make amends. This truth Daniel hears and now there is a rift in their new found friendship that Johnny actually would have won. Kreese paid off the referee so Johnny Lawrence could focus. Just like in his explanation in this deleted scene to Robby. ruclips.net/video/UlM5HEWxDQY/видео.html
And that, my friends, is why Johnny Lawrence, should never again, give this fool the time of day. Because if there's anything out here that was "crap", that would be the way he trained his students....
So if that scene played in Cobra Kai episode, Robby would’ve stayed in Cobra Kai with Kreese but the character Silver coming kinda ruined the whole drama tension. I think it would be extremely good show if Robby seriously trained with Kreese. Right now Cobra Kai season 5 seems like kiddo playground. If Silver never came back, Kreese and Robby would look more dangerously strong with Cobra Kai.
So? Daniel was injuried anyway. And Bobby was the strongest of cobra kai not johnny. Kreese told Bobby to take daniel out of comission with the knowledge he can! While he said to johnny sweep the injurief leg. And Johnny had already lost 2 - 0 with a bloody nose. So Bobby trashes Johnny.
the best line of the series imho "Cobra Kai isn't the problem, Terry Silver is." Sensei Kreese was right. Cobra Kai isn't the problem, nor is Tong Soo Do. Terry Silver is all about himself and he would use anyone to get what he wants, even Kim Da Yun.
@Ezana Melekot Look at what Aisha did in Season 4. Strike first (don't wait for someone else. Do it yourself.) Strike Hard (in life or anything, give it all you got.) No Mercy. (Don't give up and don't quit until you're ready. Don't let anyone stop you.)
@@orion3706 Well cobra kai didn't only taught you to do that in your personal life but it taught you to use it in a fight that's the probnlem in plus Kresse also ordered Bobby to make Daniel out of committion, he told Johnny to sweep Daniel's leg, he told Hawk to trash miyagi do and also he sends his students to Larusso's house. So not only Silver who was the problem but also Kresse was.
@@orion3706 Did you forget that Johnny started teaching mercy after he kicked Kreese out in season 2? Except, Chozen said that Kim Sun-Yung didn't teach tang soo do because his style was controversial, and Kreese's teachings is no different. And Kreese isn't about himself? He manipulated the students behind Johnny's back, took the dojo, sent kids to constantly harass Sam and her friends after the school fight even when Miyagi-Do was shut down, and sent them to break into Daniel's house after Miguel and Sam saved the All Valley Tournament that almost got cancelled because of the school fight started by his golden girl (Tory). Kreese even tried to manipulate Johnny with his silver tongue again at the prison by trying to justify his wrongdoings by claiming "everything I did was for you." Cobra Kai's gotta go, for good.
@@kevinthompson3569 It's ironic. Robby was Daniel's student in season 2, and he was the one who didn't show mercy. He won the fight against Miguel, but of course as we know, it cost him his freedom. The "no mercy" philosophy would've worked in Miguel's favor. Secondly, did you read my comment about Aisha? The whole "strike first, strike hard, no mercy" philosophy is very beneficial, if used correctly. Please read my comment again. Thirdly, about Tory, true she shouldn't have attacked Sam at the school. But Sam started the entire conflict when she and Miguel kissed at Moon's party. Kreese taught the students of Cobra Kai to never accept defeat, no matter how long the fight goes on. You fight until you win. Really, Kreese unknowingly followed what Chozen taught Daniel. "If your enemy insists on war, you take away their ability to wage it." Tell me how that's any different than fighting until your enemy cannot continue. One more thing. MIguel was right about Johnny. He practically gave the dojo to Kreese. He didn't fight for it, he didn't fight to save what he started. He gave the keys to Kreese, called it a mistake, and walked away, nor as a businessman, did Johnny get a contract in writing. Maybe what Kreese did, taking over the dojo behind Johnny's back was wrong, but Johnny didn't do anything to save his dojo.
Interesting. He claims that’s the reason Johnny lost focus, but I’m the newest season, when Johnny is about to be defeated, love is what made him focus and fight even harder to come out victorious 🤔 So was it really love that got him to lose?
One could say it was lack of control of his emotions that got him to lose. Could also be Kreese has gone so far down this path, he forgot that emotions are a double edged sword
Yeah our emotion sometimes makes us tough when it is positive emotion and it will put us down when it is negative. Johnny was thinking about Ali but not in the positive way at that time because they broke up while when JOhnny was fight the 5 senseis he saw his ababy picture and he got motivtation.
Kinda but kinda not. I honestly think Kreese asking Johnny and Bobby to cheat was the reason why Johnny. What that did was it put doubt in Johnny’s head that the only way he could beat Daniel was by cheating. It’s why he let Tory try to beat Sam by not fighting dirty.
I love moments like these. The show has regressed to "Miyagi good, Cobra Kai bad". However, Cobra Kai has some good lessons to learn as well (like Silver saying what your opponent is thinking is key).

I understand that they eliminated her from 3x10, but they should have rescued her for season 4, it's a perfect scene.
So that’s why Robbie pushed Sam away when she asked him to come back.
Bullshit. Johnny lost because Kreese pushed him too far. Made him compromise who he was, while Daniel fought despite an injury to gain balance, honor and self-respect.
This scene should have never got taken out
It isn’t taken out it’s in the juvie scene with him and kreese
@@MiguelPerez-oh5er no its not
I like how Kreese in Cobra Kai gets a lot of development and proves he's more nuanced than just being your typical old 80's villain.
That wasnt a deleted scene i saw it in the show 😂😂
Deleted scene? I'm pretty sure i saw it in the episode
Kreese kinda sounds like Akuma 😳👀
i think mostly what it boils down to is hubris; don't forget he the was the defending two-time all-valley champ & he was just some novice learning karate from a maintenance man so i think he got cocky as a result
Yes Silver is evil and villainy but Kreese will always be my favorite villain.
Dawg this isn’t a deleted scene this is in the show
No it isn’t
'he thought he was in love' w who larusso??? LMFAOOO
Sam Larusso, Daniels daughter
That isn’t a deleted scene that was in the show
Kreese lost the love of his life and did just that! He never really recovered from that I guess
Robby is in cobra kai dojo with sensei Kreese
Why deleted🤦♂️
Idk what possessed them to get rid of this
Johnny had more skill during that tournament, but Daniel won because of plot armor.
Johnny lost because he wasn’t focused and Daniel won with an illegal kick and plus the referee was rigged during this match
If we think about it, he Isn’t exactly lying here, Johnny was way more experient than Daniel, his Physical was way better, but with all that happened in the movie until there, Daniel was way more focused while Johnny was mentally disturbed, his head wasn’t in the game…
This scence woulda been so good. whyd they delete it
Wasn’t this scene in the show? I remember hearing the lines “there was no kick in the world that could have stopped johnny lawrence in his prime”
It was a leaked script
Its not in the show but its used alot in edits
👍👍
Kreese might not be that good of a person but he is very wise and he makes really good points
Wow, I cannot believe how gullible you are!
why 144p
In the eyes of the spectators Johnny lost because of that ‘crane crap’
Wait this was deleted
And that, my friends, is why Johnny Lawrence, should never again, give this fool the time of day. Because if there's anything out here that was "crap", that would be the way he trained his students....
I think kreese is the good guy now 🤔
Are you sure?
@@theninja4527 we will see in season 5
@@dice44 maybe
he always the good guy, until daniel and miyagi come around
@@scrpnvmbr in the way he is, I guess so
Why does Robby’s hair look different in deleted scenes
He isn't wrong
So if that scene played in Cobra Kai episode, Robby would’ve stayed in Cobra Kai with Kreese but the character Silver coming kinda ruined the whole drama tension. I think it would be extremely good show if Robby seriously trained with Kreese. Right now Cobra Kai season 5 seems like kiddo playground. If Silver never came back, Kreese and Robby would look more dangerously strong with Cobra Kai.
John kreese 💪💯💯💪💯💪💪💯💯💪💯🐉💯🐉🐉💯💯🐉💯🐉🐉💯💯🐉💯🐉🐉💯🐉💯🐉💯💯💪😎🌟🌟🏆🐉🐉❤️💘💝💖
Why didn’t they keep This in
You forget cobra kai's phylosophy strike first, strike hard and no mercy. Cobra kai is acually the problem.

This isn’t a deleted scene
Kinda but kinda not. I honestly think Kreese asking Johnny and Bobby to cheat was the reason why Johnny. What that did was it put doubt in Johnny’s head that the only way he could beat Daniel was by cheating. It’s why he let Tory try to beat Sam by not fighting dirty.
I love moments like these. The show has regressed to "Miyagi good, Cobra Kai bad". However, Cobra Kai has some good lessons to learn as well (like Silver saying what your opponent is thinking is key).
Yeh when it comes from Silver NOT Kreese
