    I can't believe that gate agent behaved in a manner as if you were to blame for the dilemma. Very unprofessional. Sorry that you went through all that but I'm glad that you enjoyed your second flight.

      There is a 30/100 chance you get a good United flight. They are mostly terrible!

    Great video! It sucks that United treated you like that. They have never really been known for great customer service. Landing was interesting. Looked like the pilot didn't use reverse thrust. Or if he did, I totally missed it.

    Sorry to hear about your negative experience at LAX. The purser is always nice to work with. He was the purser the other day on my flight from JFK.Too bad we are discontinuing service there. Hopefully just temporarily.

      He's awesome, I hope he gets to see this video! He is easily the best United FA I've encountered out of the 70 United flights I've taken in my lifetime.

    Pursers are only on Widebody aircraft
    Narrowbody even transconq routes just get FA#1 or A as stated by other airlines.

      Every United flight has a Purser. International flights are staffed with a dedicated “International Purser”, but on all other routes the “#1” Flight Attendant is designated as that flight’s Purser.

    Damn, I have the GS status and I didn't know they would kick off people to make room for GS members. That kind of sucks for the person being kicked off :(

      I got bumped from premium plus to economy a few years ago bc of a GS who booked last minute

    After the horrible experience the previous night, you did have a lucky day the next day. First, you flew on a special livery B757, then you were served by the best crew of UA I've ever seen. I'm curious to know how UA handle such a problem after you contacted them.

      I still have yet to hear but I am going to try and keep pursuing this despite this flight was almost 6 months ago

    The fact that after getting involuntary bumped and overnighted in LA, you had to pay for your own room is bs. United should have offered that.

      I still have yet to hear anything even though they wrote back to me January 10th saying they’d investigate it

    It looks like that in order to get good service on a U.S. airline, you have to do it in a counter intuitive manner. Spend more money for more poor service until you achieve top tier/Global Service status and then you'll suddenly get good service.

    United's agents at LAX are by far the worst in the system, always had a problem with them.

    Lounge and aircraft biz seat aren’t Polaris. United club and Polaris lounge are totally different, also the seat. You flew in biz yes just not Polaris 😊 Check out real Polaris seat on their 767, 777 and 787 👍🏽

      They clearly brand it as " Polaris" , it's on the pillow in his seat. It IS a different seat though, I wish they wouldnt do that. I was all excited to fly in a pod and then I found this type of seat waiting for me.

      It was quicker to walk and the surge pricing was insane, over $65 for a half a mile to the hotel
