How was the forecasted turbulence?

Excellent crew and staff. They made the snafus smooth and manageable. Did the best they could. Can’t fly without a squawk number. JetBlue also did a delay snack service. Worked for UAL many years ago. Glad to see some of that old company customer service still around. Like the 70s and 80s.

One of the hazards of flying! I've had three mechanical fails within the past two years. Looks like United took care of you pretty well however.

The second 737-900 looks A LOT nicer. It has the Boeing Sky Interior

I have never seen snacks offered in the terminal by the airline when a flight is delayed. I wonder how long that happens.

Nice video. I recently had the N642UA that subbed for a 752 on TPA-EWR a few weeks ago... real treat. A number of 757s were upguaged to 767s that week.. guessing they were short due to maintenance reasons. Definitely a no brainer to get the premium plus seats on these domestic routes as they're sold as a regular economy plus seat.

Amazing video, was there a technical reason this aircraft was used with many vacant seats on a short domestic hop? May be some sort of maintenance at ORD or heavy rush from EWR to ORD but light occupancy on ORD to EWR?

On August 12th I was on a flight from EWR to STI on a 737-900ER. My flight left at 9:10 AM but got delayed to 10:50 AM which was absurd, Newark and its antics, am I right? I left out of terminal c and it was so refreshing to see the sun rising :)

August 21st I was on a flight from EWR to LAX on jetblue on an Airbus A321. And my flight was around 7am as well lol. But in different terminals we were in tho, it was a unusually cold morning from what I remember especially in the summer time

Can you explain the retrofit you mention. This looks like the exact same seat I had flying trans-Atlantic with UA in 2017 (although I was in 21D 😂). The “Polaris” seats up front are also exactly the same as when I rode several UA 757s in domestic first in 2017 and 2018 (Minus the bedding and such).

Thank you for that very very informative and helpful comments. I fly Austrian quite a bit. I flew premium economy and yes, there’s no curtain or anything between premium economy and economy. It would be nice because you do pay extra. I’ve also flew business class on Austrian. Was not impressed at all. I can actually say it wasn’t very clean. The seats weren’t great. And after flying business in other airlines, I was just shocked at what Austrian offered. The one thing I would like to ask you is did you have a problem with anybody Pushing their seat back in front of you? Because the one flight that I was on on Austrian when the person pushed their seat back all the way I literally couldn’t move. I was not very happy. And it does look like Austrian cut cost in a lot of different ways.

I enjoyed your vid. Regarding about the people at LGA, they are the worst. Not only Delta, every, each airline at that airport. I almost went to jail with a young rudeness AA agent. Long story.

Night flight?

That was a good report. I am thinking of flying Nashville to Edinburgh on United and they use the 757-200 out of IAD. Even upgrading each flight from EC to EC+ the total cost for 2 people is less than $2k. At least I know there would be enough legroom for me b

I was on that same plane in 2013 Stuttgart to Newark. That route is long gone, but it's nice to see that N17128 is still going strong, even with a retrofitted interior. Also I didn't know they added scimitar winglets to it.

Great report and no surprise there, UA's catering is pet food grade compared to international competition (DL and AA are in the same boat).

Wow! You got to fly the A340!!! Thats a rarity!! Just like when i flew the 787-10 from Honolulu to Chicago. I know theres a lot of 787s out there, but the -10 is rare....or the 757-300.
