Well... I kinda forgot that it would be worth talking about my hatchet, since it is a regular item at home and on sled tours. I am hacking wood, lots of meat and hammer stuff with it. Through all that it has aged really well for 10/11 years. and I am not kind to it. Wet, hot, moist and full of rancid old meat and the handle is still rock solid... Love it
btw. that stack of firewood is not cut by me, nor with the hatchet 😜 I was just referring to cutting it smaller later on, or cutting some wood out in the field.
As I am working as a carpenter I am going to go for the Carpenter line of Gränsfors axes, cause I know it'll withstand the beating!

What an experience, the Polar Bear stole your Hatchet!
Wonderful that you managed to retrieve it though.
These are truly outstanding quality tools, I have a GB Mini Hatchet, a Wildlife Hatchet and a Small Forest Axe (and their Neck Knife) and they're superb and all I'll ever need.

And more than you'll ever need 😁 great stuff. I got myself the timber axe and I honestly have not used it much. But I love it

Nice review. The polar bear story is one you probably remember every time you pick up that hatchet.

I'm glad I found it in the snow again, afterwards. For sure 😁

Cool story and video. I will buy one and take it on a 50000km trip in Europa with our 1971 Fiat 500.

Thank you. Yeah, I´m glad I actually found it again. I remember I bought a Fiskars as a replacement. Although quite a good hatchet, it is not the same.

That axe is solid as shit, you must have an interesting diet ! Good video, but I can't warrant buying one really. Thanks for posting & best wishes for 2023.

Yeah, a hatchet isn't a tool one needs regularly unless having dogs. A bigger knife is a bit more versatile in most cases
