Funny how you glossed over the French win against England in the group stage🤣 The memory of Zidane scoring both that free kick and penalty during stoppage time to beat England 2-1 is up there with the Trezeguet golden goal and Zidane's 2006 world cup performance s against Brazil and Spain 😁

@@retrofootballkits Well friend , Adidas did everything right in 2004 , from the spiky stripes to the vertical lines that Fade towards the end of the shirt and Fade around their edges too (exploding as you described It) much better than the Boring vertical lines with no visual effect
First, that was not Spain’s away kit for 2004. It is hard to take your reviews seriously when you make such obvious errors and don’t edit them out. That was clearly a previous Adidas template. Second, I would rate none of those kits stunners. For Adidas and Nike, I would argue that they were their worst templates in the last 20 years. Please think a bit more about your ratings and the details (see Spain away above). It would have been okay to say that due to the abundance of bland templates, none were stunners.

As for the Spain mistake I do put a lot of time into my research but sometimes things fall throw without me realising - thank you for noting this. For some reason I think the pointy ardidas stripes works in the Japan kit from that year. Goes with the aura/aesthetic of the country
