The 163 is not an Interstate Highway. It is a State Highway Route

It happens every week in san diego.. I want videos everynight its actually very common at night.. everyone driving is drunk or high

It does seem that way, however, I think it’s anecdotal. I wonder what the real statistics are? Plenty of drunks die behind the wheel. I think a large percentage die in single vehicle wrecks. Hitting trees, roll overs, etc.

The reason for this is that the driver will turn the wheel to avoid the crash..and the passengers get the brunt of impact…

Should have their licenses permanently revoked without any possibility of a future reinstatement. Licenses should be treated with great care.
They broke the law already DUI, why would they worry about driving without a license

DUI this will never going to change until the legislation change and call it what it is this happened way too often
How is legislation going to fix people drinking and driving.
It was way worse before MADD come along, years ago. They are really responsible for the much tougher laws we have today. Before MADD, justice was a real disgrace concerning drink drive offenders. I’m 71. When I was a kid, cops would stop you and just tell you to drive home. It happened to me once when I was 18 or so. That would never happen, today.
The penalties in CA are pretty strict for 1st time offenses and get worse. For first time they include thousands in fines, 3-9 months of DUI school, 6 month license suspension or restrictions, up to 6 months in jail. The biggest issue is alcohol is an addictive substance. The more you use, the more you are hooked.
@@JBoy340a I agree. The penalties are very strict,now, all over the country. The thing is, you could have the death penalty for drink and drive and that would not stop a drunk from driving.
@@Bretski126 unfortunately I suspect you are right about some drinkers. And when they get in an accident always say they only had a little to drink. But then when they test them their BAC is way up there and they are impared.
People like this keep the court system alive
How difficult it is to understand that driving while intoxicated is not only dangerous to the person but to others, now the families of the killed victims their lives is destroyed

Love the 163 but can get tricky when you pass the 8 going downtown. Thats when you have to be aware of your surroundings.

28,000 are arrested for DUI in Wisconsin each year. 22,000 are first offense arrests. 2,000 are second time offers. Those getting #3, #4, #5 #6, range from 1500 to 400. DUI #5 = 3-12 years in prison.

Out of the hundreds of alcohol purchases at gas stations each day, how many gas station clerks REFUSE to sell alcohol to impaired drivers? how many impaired drivers take 'NO' for an answer? I'll tell you how many. ZERO.
