The first hack literally saved my life. Everyone who struggles with eyeliner should watch this video. I'm currently sitting here typing this comment with the fleekiest eyeliner feeling bomb asf. Just subscribed and liked, thanks a bunch xx
omg so relatable, no matter how much videos i watch and try out, i always mess it up and need to remove it over 100 times :( i always need 1-2 hours to get it okay looking and even then it looks weird so i have to cover the uneven wing with my hair
omg i used to feel like you but now girls ask me how I do it. keep practicing. You WILL get better. my eyeliner used to be all choppy and shit but now. i used to watch how fucking fast makeup gurus did their eyeliner and think "HOW" but as you keep practicing you get faster
Just keep practicing everyday. Buy a cheap eyeliner whatever gel, pencil, or liquid and practice with that. If you do it so often you will be good at it. I now even know how to do it with my left hand and only four months ago I couldn't do my eyeliner for shit.
I needed this! I have folds/crease lines on my eyelids so I always struggled putting eyeliner on without getting it on the creases. When I first started I definitely found using those gel eyeliners that come in the little pot easier to apply. Then I would sometimes go over it with a liquid eyeliner. Much love xx
lmao I can't freehand for my life but now I use masking tape and it works really well. My problem is it never looks even because my eyes are not symmetrical haha struggles
I was really struggling with winged liner till I got the Jesse's Girl liquid liner pen. It's a very fine brush instead of felt tip so tugs way less. I also think a little bit of uneven application isn't noticeable to people because they just aren't gonna come as close as we look at ourselves in the mirror :)
A lot of these tips work for doing your brows too, especially the part where you work slowly and switch between both eyes. Also, if you really want your eyeliner to stay all day, I recommend using an eyelid primer first, doing your liner like you would, and then dusting over it with a translucent powder. This also helps speed up the drying time too.
argella1300 A MILLION THANK YOUs for your advice about setting the eyelid with a translucent powder, it's a game changer for me and totally worked! I have extremely oily eyelids and even after using an eyelid primer I still can get some slickness (except when I use Urban Decay's eyelid primer, that's stuff is magic in a tube!). However today when I used the Two Faced Shadow Insurance eyelid primer (per the recommendation of a Sephora employee when I asked her, "Is this better than Urban Decay?" and her reply was, "Yes!") then set it with Maybelline's Master Fix setting powder, my eyelids and winged liner stayed put the entire day & night!! I couldn't believe it but was so glad to see no more shine!! Thanks for this AMAZING advice! This is why I love reading the comment section on RUclips or reviews in general, for you can get a lot of great tips & tricks from helpful, nice and smart people....such as yourself! 😊
I have abnormally long eyelashes and I always have problems trying to keep my eyelashes out of the way when I have my eyes open trying to apply eyeliner. Any tips?
I have the same problem. Get a card and put it On your lashes and just close your eye and use your other eye to see where your applying the liner (: ✨. I hope you understood me :/
Same, what I used to do is get my eyelash curler and curl then down so they are out of the way but I only did this if I was using a regular eyeliner brush or a liquid eyeliner. For gel eyeliners I usually use an angled brush and it helps out (:
I have that problem too. I don't apply the liner free hand but instead of that, I pull my lids straight with one hand and with the other hand I draw the line
I love how real you are with it. Its not completely make up artist perfect, but its damn near close and it makes it so much easier for people who struggle with applying eyeliner. Thank you for this video!! ❤️
I love it so much that you give techniques for different eye shapes, i especially loved when you mentioned that there are symmetrical issues! thank you!
Castiel but I usually find that felt tip liners don't come on with a matte finish and are shinier if you don't mind the shiny look then go for felt! :) if you've found a felt liner that's as matte as liquid liner, tell me!
I have searched countless videos here on YT. I finally landed here! Thank you for a great tutorial, and offering different styles on the winged eyeliner look. You rock!
I sucked so bad and I have hooded lids but I started practicing every night and have gotten so much better. I have to use a gel liner because it gives me more control and then I sharpen it up a little with a felt tip liquid liner sometimes after.
this video was dope, I like how you didn't exclude people with hooded eyes! It's such a struggle with eyeliner and I cant believe I've never thought about just tight lining! Thank You! much Love♡
Oh my goodness!! This is THE BEST winged eyeliner tutorial I have ever seen! I suck at doing this. My eyes are very hooded and Im 36 so I have a little more droopy skin on my lids. The way u show all the different trchniques is awesome!! I also just subscribed. Thank u sooo much for this!!
I'm a cosmologist/make up artist and I LOVE all of your tips and tricks. Doing a winged liner can be intimidating to a lot of girls whilst doing their makeup. You gave a ton of good ideas! good job!
Thank you so much for the time you took from your day to make and post this vid! I'm def gonna try these tricks out. I suck at it and I usually just use a pinkish kind of eyeshadow or something different from whatever shadow Im wearing that's not like really harsh or dark and use a small brush to put it where i want my liner. When it looks right I cover it all with the eyeliner very carefully. By doing it that way I don't end up with eyeshadows plastered all over the wing.
WHY AM I JUST NOW DISCOVERING YOUR CHANNEL?! I absolutely LOVE how you give us SO many options for different types of eye shapes. Thank you! You've got a new subbie 👍😀
So you are my hero! lol... I've never been able to do my winged eyeliner without messing up a thousand times before giving up lol... until now. I tried the first tip you gave about looking straight into the miror and making my wings match before finishing the rest of your eyeliner and it worked great! I can finally rock winged eyeliner confidently 👍😄💋💕 Thanks girl you're the best!
She LOOKS SOOO FRIKIN DIFFERENT I STARTED SEEING HER IN 2019 and I JUST SAW THIS FROM 2016. SHE MISSED THE ‘WELCOME BACK TO MY CHYNAAAAEELLLLL’ love you slyvia😁
Just skip the scar. Nobody will think "EW she got a scar" but more like "wow she got a scar on her eye and can still see and she survived and she's super cool and brave!!!" :)
Omg thank you so much. I used to be awesome at winged liner, but the older I get the more issues I'm running into- my eyes are getting stupid and wrinkly. I've watched SOoo many videos that only show 1 or 2, or they talk so damn much I can't get through it, or whatever. This is the best liner video I've seen!!! Keep up the good work girl!
You can also use a spoon, you just use the end of it to do a straight line for the wing, and use the round part to do the curved part of the wing. Another one is more of a freehand style and I found that it works easier than a spoon, a you just put a dot in the beginning of your eye (I don't know what its called) and then put another dot on the start of the pupil, then in the middle of the pupil, then at the end of the pupil, and at the end of your eye. Then where the crease starts, draw a line, and there's your wing. Trace all of the dots and fill them in, and now you have a sorta perfect winged eyeliner (sorry if I didn't explain very well)
Tati has done videos on the eyeliner stencils from Beth Bender Beauty as well the new Vamp Stamp. The Vamp Stamp looks so much easier, and also appears to give better results... but I have not tried either one yet :)
dude you are really freaking amazing at applying liner. I adore you. first time watching and I just subscribed. Thank you, I think I actually learned from this tutorial
Anrei the one I use is the maybelline master duo it is very easy to use once you've figured it out and it's a different shape tip so it's hard to find tutorials on how to use that kind of tip
I use one from Kat Von D and it's very helpful. Go to Sephora. They have the smaller less expensive felt tip liners. Also, I think Ulta has the smaller sizes so you don't have to commit if you don't like it
The first hack literally saved my life. Everyone who struggles with eyeliner should watch this video. I'm currently sitting here typing this comment with the fleekiest eyeliner feeling bomb asf. Just subscribed and liked, thanks a bunch xx

It's really not. Most of it is common sense and she's terrible and using the tricks.
who else thinks this looks so easy and still messes it up
omg so relatable, no matter how much videos i watch and try out, i always mess it up and need to remove it over 100 times :( i always need 1-2 hours to get it okay looking and even then it looks weird so i have to cover the uneven wing with my hair

I have abnormally long eyelashes and I always have problems trying to keep my eyelashes out of the way when I have my eyes open trying to apply eyeliner. Any tips?
Do your eyeliner before mascara and just push away the lashes as you go with the eyeliner
+Sab East I've tried that they still get in the way
I have the same problem. Get a card and put it On your lashes and just close your eye and use your other eye to see where your applying the liner (: ✨. I hope you understood me :/

+Sylvia Gani big fan 😊 thx for replieing 😊😊
+Michella Fuller it means for real.
I did
The concealer trick has seriously SAVED me so many times.
I got two things out of this
-I should get some Kat Von D felt liner
-avoid your creases when applying
Rafael Lightwood-Bane get the etude house liner!! it's literally the exact same as Kat von D but cheaper
Castiel but I usually find that felt tip liners don't come on with a matte finish and are shinier
if you don't mind the shiny look then go for felt! :)
if you've found a felt liner that's as matte as liquid liner, tell me!
I have searched countless videos here on YT. I finally landed here! Thank you for a great tutorial, and offering different styles on the winged eyeliner look. You rock!
I just know that no matter how many videos i watch, ill always suck at liners
I sucked so bad and I have hooded lids but I started practicing every night and have gotten so much better. I have to use a gel liner because it gives me more control and then I sharpen it up a little with a felt tip liquid liner sometimes after.
I LOVVED the felt tip eyeliner trick. I struggle a lot with getting my wings nice and perfect with my felt tips. This will definitely help me!!
I can't do my eyeliner to save my life
The only eyeliner I can do is the “emo” eyeliner
LOL
this video was dope, I like how you didn't exclude people with hooded eyes! It's such a struggle with eyeliner and I cant believe I've never thought about just tight lining! Thank You! much Love♡
Can you do a brow tutorial next ,like which products are best and your eyebrow routine

Absolutely GREAT tips! Thanks for the hacks! It's definitely been needed
WHY AM I JUST NOW DISCOVERING YOUR CHANNEL?! I absolutely LOVE how you give us SO many options for different types of eye shapes. Thank you! You've got a new subbie 👍😀
ik its unsanitary but i use old felt tip eyeliner tubes as eyeliner brushes for my cream eyeliner bc it works soooooo well
omg i used to do that
you just gave me the best idea ever lol, i have so many old felt tip eyeliners and i have cream eyeliners with no brushes so thank you so much 😂
***** no problem lmao just make sure to wash them, it gives you best preciseness for a wing! :)
That's a really good idea because I hate liquid eyeliner and love gel but sometimes my angled brush acts up lol.
Natalee Narmore ya same my eyeliner brushes just are not precise enough
omg the black eyeshadow! life changing. for real!
shes an eyeliner master
So you are my hero! lol... I've never been able to do my winged eyeliner without messing up a thousand times before giving up lol... until now. i envy people with one crease :( i have multiple and it's annoying as hell. I can't do my eyeliner all fast like that!
Wow ... I'm not sure I'll manage it but this is the most informative and illustrative eyeliner video I've seen...thank you so much

Hi
jo jeanette τελειο
I like how you used gel eyeliner! I have the same brush as you do and this helped a lot.
When I saw this I was like "OMG ITS SYLVIA! WOFLIE'S GF!SUBSCRIBE!!!" 😂
Holy cow, thank you!
I've been struggling with this forever and I think you finally got me on the right track.
Well done!
If so freaking cold, I'm watching this underneath 3 blankets and sweatpants and I'm still freaking cold!😡😡
Alex's Games me too
I'm always cold lol
I live in Florida so I'm never cold 😐
Only same tho
LOL!
i really loved the fact that you showed how to work your liner when you do have excess skin over your eyes . thank you so much for that .
It's impossible to do eyeliner with my eye shape
You Can Do It!
2 my eyes are extremly hooded and every eyliner is like a bumerang :D
Kätzchen Schätzchen mir too, my eyes are really hooded and it annoys me whenever I do my eyeliner it sucks
Me too, I have really round eyes and whenever I do eyeliner I always end up looking like I have two big isosceles triangles instead of wings
I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR AN EYE TYPE LIKE THIS FOR A YEAR OR SOMETHING I LOVE THIS VIDEO
I don't even wear make up but this is somehow satisfying
right....like I'm 10 I just like her videos and she talks really calmly unlike Wolfie lol
GREAT WAY FOR ME TO DO MY WING!! IVE WATCHED SOOOOOOOOO MANY TUTORIALS AND THIS REALLY HELPED! TYSM!
I CAN'T EVEN FILL IN THE LINE ON MY EYELID WHAT IS THIS

amen sally, amen - My girlfriend
Thanks so much for making this video! I really needed new tips for liner since I've been out of practice for months now lol
I love your tops
this is the first vidéo on eyeliner hacks (and I watched a lot) that actually helped me! Thank you so much 🙏
i have scaring on one of my eyelids, do you have any advice?
Just do you!
Just skip the scar. Nobody will think "EW she got a scar" but more like "wow she got a scar on her eye and can still see and she survived and she's super cool and brave!!!" :)
Josephine Bouvier I wish it was that cool, it's kinda blotchy and yeh...got an infection on it and the skin didn't heal properly
Alice Green Nobody knows. Show it off.
Josephine Bouvier xD
Omg thank you so much. I used to be awesome at winged liner, but the older I get the more issues I'm running into- my eyes are getting stupid and wrinkly. I've watched SOoo many videos that only show 1 or 2, or they talk so damn much I can't get through it, or whatever. This is the best liner video I've seen!!! Keep up the good work girl!
video starts at 1:07 you are welcome.
Okay I've been watching so many videos here lately, and I absolutely love your tutorial! Totally going to have to use these tips!!!!!!
Let's all praise the eyeliner god jfc it takes me like 4 hours to complete ONE wing
I LOVE THE HOODED EYELID TRICK. That was the best tip ever! Thank you so much ❤️😄.
where can i buy the eyeliner pen?
its the KatVonD tattoo liner. You can get it at sephora or online. That one, and Stilla's liquid pen liners are the best.
;yoosung san; etude house is the exact same as Kat von D but cheaper, you can buy them online if you don't live in Asia
;yoosung san; i peep a mystic messenger fan
I like the tape one the best thx for showing it it has changed my life
Who noticed that in the beginning one eye is way biger then the other
Probably the best eyeliner tutorial video on youtube.
your eyelashes are so tall and thick😭
long*
+thanks pete tall*
+Maia F tall*
OK is it tall or long or both? lol
long* tall is height long is length.
Trace all of the dots and fill them in, and now you have a sorta perfect winged eyeliner (sorry if I didn't explain very well)
I'll just stick to eyeliner stencils lmao
Chloala eyeliber stencils!?
Chloala wait what?! Where can u get them!!
Mermaid Hannah bethbenderbeauty.com !!
Tati has done videos on the eyeliner stencils from Beth Bender Beauty as well the new Vamp Stamp. The Vamp Stamp looks so much easier, and also appears to give better results... but I have not tried either one yet :)
Tara I have the BBB stencils, and they do not work at ALL - what a mess!
😰😰
dude you are really freaking amazing at applying liner. I adore you. first time watching and I just subscribed. Thank you, I think I actually learned from this tutorial
Its very hard for the beggenning . Try and try
The tight lining worked so well for me!!
does anyone think felt tip is good for wings? I can't use liquid for my life and it stings my eyes lmao
i literally only use felt tips tbh its amazing for wings
it's Wednesday my dudes maybelline master precise liner is the best one i've used
Anrei the one I use is the maybelline master duo it is very easy to use once you've figured it out and it's a different shape tip so it's hard to find tutorials on how to use that kind of tip
I use one from Kat Von D and it's very helpful. Go to Sephora. They have the smaller less expensive felt tip liners. Also, I think Ulta has the smaller sizes so you don't have to commit if you don't like it
The Kat Von D tattoo liner is really easy to use! :)
thanks so much! ive been struggling with my wing! hoping this helps!
