Sleep deficit is so real. Quit a job where I was working 16 hour days, spent the next month sleeping around 14-16 hours a day, after around a month I just couldn't sleep during the day, and would only be tired enough to fall asleep that night. I effectively just spent the month paying back my sleep debt.
The thing is even when I'm tired then decide to play games instead of sleeping I completely loose my desire to sleep and even feel more energized. So it hard to stop because I feel as though "since I don't feel tired right now. I don't need to sleep"

Yea exercise helps with sleep a bunch if you do 30-45 min of intense exercise like push-ups or situps it will force you body to rest longer to repair you muscles
It's also best to slowly change your sleep schedule when working on sleeping earlier. If you go to bed at 3, then you'll most likely wake up earlier than expected if you go to bed at midnight because your body wasn't as tired. I'd recommend working towards your desired time at an hour earlier per night, maybe even half and hour, in order to get your body adjusted.
Here’s what you do go to bed late force yourself to get up early this will make you tired force yourself to stay awake then go to bed same time you did last time you’ll sleep longer now because your overtired now you’ll get up later. Sleep schedule reset.
Me who sets an alarm at 7:30am when I go to bed at 1:30am. And then gets annoyed about losing so much. I'll give this a try for a week. I'm gonna sleep for 8-9 hours 4 times a week. And see if I do better than normal.

Damn, i feel like this is happening to me. I have a friend we both switched to pc at the same time and i was always a bit better than him. He lives in the us and i live in europe so i always stay up till 4 am to be able to play with him.. but that also means I sleep less than he does... Might have to change some things around...
