    2. write down the different things

I paraphrased your self notes and made mine here it is,
      1. Review professional games and analyze different situations
      2. Take notes from different situations and take notes of the solutions that make sense
      3. Think of and adapt to these new lessons
      4. Take your time to recall what you have written and make it a loop to read and recall till you are satisfied with the results.
      5. Apply these new lessons and use your visualisation if there is a situation that you can not easily encounter in a game.

I have something to add for everybody. Taking a break and developing a new skill, or a pair of new skills help.
I took a break, and reading helps your IQ a lot, and good books too. I didn’t read much, I read 4 books within 2 months, and I played a lot of chess because chess has been a long term hobby. I also trained my memory by playing memory games on google, and I did that for hours everyday, just training and reading. I developed a really good thought process, memory, IQ probably also increased, and now I returned to CSGO after a year of not playing it that much, but I just practice asf in aim bots, think critically all the times, when should I push, did this work last time, etc etc.. If you learn to think like that, everything gets easier to learn, I’m currently trying to get up to my rank I was before, so I’m playing like 50 hours every second week. And I feel I have I have improved so much just over a week, I did it for a couple of days and I just improved really much over short period of time. When your memory is so good that you can remember a phone number, then you have the memory I have, and I just trained it for what? A month with using memory games on google, remember number plates also and shit, just train yourself everyday in these things, and you will experience the same thing as me. The break was like 4-5 months, and it wasn’t boring but really relaxing. Anyone can do this, I ain’t super smart or anything, I just did something to improve my IQ and memory and etc. Try reading about it, there’s also much about it on google. That’s a tip from me.

If you want to be a top tier gamer, the main thing in life is that you have to use the part of the brain where its creative (watch videos on the creative part of the brain), been a big game since I was 6 years old, I was very creative and clear minded, I was a top tier player back in mw2 and mw3 at 10 years old. Just gotta train your brain on what you wanna do and you can accomplish anything (sounds super cheesy, but its true)

Also rewieving your games and self criticising can be beneficial to develop new solutions.

Funny thing is that I actually do this on a daily even before watching this video. I do this with the fighting game known as Dragon Ball FighterZ. I pick my 3 characters, write down combos, and start doing the combos. Then I do them without looking at the paper. Then I sleep and wake up and try to remember the combos without even taking out the papers with the combos on them. Seriously this works

This is amazing and one hundred percent true for anyone struggling, but one thing I can add. To help “process” certain concepts or knowledge don’t look to just store it in a dusty book case in your mind, you need to find a way to relate the information to things you already know , whether on a deep profound level or just a simple surface level connection just to help remind you when you go to recall the new info later. manly p hall would say you need to integrate knowledge before it can be called wisdom. Or something along those lines . . Jordan Peterson would say don’t try and memorize the data, find the meaning, the real most simple pragmatic truth you can and integrate that into your set of behaviours. Cheers 🥂

My biggest take away from this video was just hyper focus and acknowledgement of certain techniques, situations, and moments of learning by rerunning them and conciously stating in your mind that this is something you/I need to remember and put into gameplay.
I've been grinding rocket league for the last 6 months or so. I have about 1500 hours in the game at this moment. started on ps4 where a majority of those hours were spent.
I also have a drinking problem. when I game, i drink. And I game a lot.
Drinking hinders the learning process, but it doesnt hinder muscle memory.
I spent most of my time so far in silver/gold barely making it into Plat at the end of last season (which was super extended)
This season I still drink while I play, But I make a much more serious effort to learn, even while drunk.
Well, I pushed through plat into diamond in just one gaming session. I spent maybe 4 games in each division of plat lol. So now, when im sober. I have to block out hesitations and anxiety. But still holding strong In D2 and sometimes D3. I have yet to make it into champ. But Im one of those "Circumstance must be perfect in order to play ranked" type of people, so my casual skill level is in champ range 1700+. where I'm certain if i just grind some ranked I could probably get into c1 at the least. Yet here I am, holding out. lmao my gameplan is to play casuals until im 2000+ mmr and then destroy ranked until i get to where im meant to be and then repeat the process.
Casual seems to just open a lot of doors to learn new mechanics where as ranked is trimmed and proper efforts to score.
