Can’t learn if I never improve I’ve been playing cod for 5 years and I’m still shit and I’m ready to quit gaming, I wanted to be a pro but that’s never happening
@@scorpion9063 Most pro players are those who grinded the games of that category for years, their struggling phase won't be available for you to see anywhere, they were hard stuck golds and silvers in one of the old games once, but now after playing like 10-11 years being average they begin to improve.Besides, have u tried aim drills daily before playing, you may not notice improvement early but u shouldnt stop because of that ,keep grinding and dont get overconfident.
Welp guess im never improving grinding for months at a game and still getting my ass handed to me

Appreciate the support, thanks man!
I've been facing this problem for almost a year. I'm just 15 years old, so it removes out the fatigue from age. I've gotten to a point where I'm at my best, at my prime, where my aim, game sense, and skills are consistent and decent to clutch up games. But now it's gone, my snappy aim became complete dog sh*t, my movement became clunky, and I now kept being caught off guard causing enemies to react first. I don't know why, what or how it happened. It feels like it's just gone. I've been trying to find a way to get it back and still couldn't. I've tilted so many times to the point that I don't wanna game at all anymore. I just wanna get my prime back...
It's just a phase bro it happens to everyone...just keep playing and practicing and keep your mental stable.form is temporary class is permanent 😉
Feels like this is one of the few channels actually giving advice on how to improve w/o trying to sell me something
He is trying to sell stuff but it justified because he gives us absoulte gold

I could make a ton of videos on these subjects. I'll be starting with one on the topic of diet, which I'm hoping to finish up within the next few months! :)
I think one of the biggest hurdles in online match making games is to accepting the fact that you might come across a bot, smurf, hacker, etc. players and there's nothing you can do to stop it and to instead of it ruining your whole match experience. Take it with a table spoon of salt and stay positive and try find away to practice amidst the chaos going on. Remember one likes to deal with this but until they can find a way to stop it completely well just have to deal with it for the time being and knowing and accepting it can happen tends to soft the blow a little when you come across it.
My issue with improvement is that I make mistakes, make a mental note that I made them, but don’t put in the effort to improve upon them
I'm never going to get any better. I just suck ass at everything I do
lol i felt like that once then i recognized u cant start anything and instantly be the best

I still struggle even when i believe in myself and people just said keep playing but analysis other players but in the end i will always lose even if i pick my self back up,its like i was born to not get good even when i wanna get better.
Super value with what’s said here. I’ve been trying too get better sniping on blops 4 nuketown. Extremely situational based game, lots of abilities, extremely fast paced. And it’s dead anyways, with only old school veterans on there now. As I continue focus on the “fun stuff”, too see the exponential growth in the shots I hit and clips I manage too pull off, it’s still minimal improvement and I make the same mistakes. But now as I practice map awareness, jump shots, sliding, ducking and weaving behind cover, being aware of my team and objectives which I always considered the “boring” stuff… the skill platue is starting too break. I feel as long as these certain things are practiced and experimented on more.
so basically don't go auto-pilot when playing thats pretty much all i got from this 10 min video
Yes, this is a core message of the video. But it also explores why this happens, and exactly how you can prevent it. The added context allows the core message to actually make sense in the domain of esports and leads to tactics for changing this behavior. Hope it helps!

@@eathletelabs Look forward to every post. :D
You had me. All the way until the info-mercial. Then I was gone.
My biggest disadvantage is giving up when I have no clue to why I lost. And the first reason is the fear of losing to someone and not being acquainted with the opponent. It feels like being taken down by a silent assistant.
This doesn't change the fact that after hours and hours on aimlab, I still can't hit shit
I have reached highest ranks in multiple different I put time into. league of legends, gears of war, known too be one of the most hardest games, and mobile legends a mobile moba. The only way you get too the next level is too 1. Not only just putting thousands of hours into the game, but how you use every minute of those thousands of hours learning new things, guides on games etc...play with good players...that’s it.
Yeah when I play one game of League I always get good CS cuz I'm trying hard. Then I get bored after that and stop giving a shit. Think I'll climb by playing less and only playing one game a day.
You and your Team deserve so many more subs... Gonna order some hoodies for support soon!

I love that this video focuses on lessons from Peak. Really great research you're doing.
I needed to listen to this i picked up tekken 7 back on release and wanted to get better and good enough not to look bad
Well just a bonus tip
When u have grinded the ranks just
Go play with a new account and start the grind again it will bring back ur zeal surprisingly our brain works in such a way if u start over with zero stats u become a natural learner again because there's nothing to lose u have fun find different strategies and other game related mechanism from a different part of community
Brooo i do this withoit realizing that
I've seen this a lot in my scene. There are so many players that live close to each other that are good that can help others improve.
To better implement what is said in the video, Our scene created a Google doc of players and contact info so that who ever is available, they can practice, learn, and improve.
Some ppl learn better online so a good hour of playing, feedback, and recording is done as well.
It works! Each time I go to a tournament you can tell everyone is improving.
That's awesome you guys are taking action! Keep improving man!
Released this video on my bday
Not only I suck at everything I do, I actually feel that I'm getting worse the more I play.
Time does not equal skill. I have 800 hours in tabg and in mediocre at best, and there are players with much less hours than me who are extremely successful in the game.
Great advise but at this point I think I'm just not meant to get better. It's like a genetics thing I guess you could call it. I've been playing games for most of my life (mostly shooters) and I just can't improve. I get into lobbys with sweats and I get destroyed. Gaming is just so oversaturated that newer players can't improve and skill based match making is a joke. Over some years I've come to realize that no matter how much I want go be good at gaming, it's never going to happen. I've also realized that people who are really good at games often don't have lives outside of the game. Shame
Same
I'm pickin up what you're throwing down! These are some great tips. I also think mindset and lifestyle is a huge part of success as well, which I know you've touched on in some of your other videos.

If someone spends 1000s of hours on research and video creation for free content, but then has an optional patreon, coaching service or product, then look at as a way to support the creator. If you aren't interested that's fine, but recognize that many others find a ton of value in those things (and without them those creators would be homeless).
yep that title just explain why i still even cant hit 1 enemy at Apex , even i cant even get out of gold nova
Spend atleast 20 min in firing range bro
My dream i have had for quite a long time now, has been to be good and enjoy a game, no sucsess yet☹️ very boring it is to just realize that im the average person that cant get better, i just want to have fun gaming.
My advice: take a break. I have found that whenever I find myself in a plateau I’ll take a break from that game for a few days, and when I come back to it not only does it feel fresher, I feel like my skills have caught up with my time played.

4:20 Keys to Better Gaming
Noice
a fun fact of video games...in past 10 to 15 years ...video games suck...there is no nice way to say it...because of the money industry involved the designers no longer design games that make you smarter aka make you think but rather the games that have easy solutions and if possible some pay for cash rewards...so in short the modern video games are really at average very low skill demanding very low thinking demanding and very low time consuming..unless you spend hours and hours in some pointless game that does not put a smile on your face but rather makes you angry or nervous..so who is the one sucking here is the real question :0
the grind is tiring and i dont want to do it but the second i try to play games casually i get bored so im stuck with this lmao
Focus on playing more with good friends and teammates. Makes the grind more enjoyable!
This must be true for life in general. It's just a matter of learning in a more effective way. Just avoid opponents who would define you by your current level of skill. People are prone to thinking something is because of their genetics.
Happy New Years!
Happy New Year!
saying it's better to "have a match against an equal opponent" is a misconception, and a losers trap. the proven way to improve is always to go against opponents better than you. there have been case studies, for example on a Russian tennis gym that produced many tennis stars, young players are always beaten on by better players (there is a book called The Talent Code which examines this in depth)
the unfortunate reality is that most people cannot climb the mental hill of being crushed by better players, which is needed to improve. practicing against a better opponent is how you learn. practicing/playing against people of your own skill is how you never improve faster than the other people at your level (which is also why "playing more" doesn't really help, everyone at your rank is getting better at about the same rate
Great advice! I think this highlights the importance of pushing beyond one's' comfort zone. The only caution is to not push too far, it's about finding the optimal level challenge. I appreciate the insight!
@@eathletelabs no problem, I would check out the book if you have time. it's very interesting to see why some areas produce so many talented high performers. one thing I believe is that you'll learn way more from a loss than a win, if only people could focus on improvement rather than win/loss ratio

I'm borderline pro at every single game I play after 2 weeks give or take. Fortnite I'm so cracked, cs go I was better than average, cod I was ridiculous, but every single game I just cant go pro. I dont know what to do but i want to be a pro gamer more than anything honestly. Like I'm naturally gifted on the sticks and the keys and i have a great PC, but it just never happens. Idk what to do and it makes me want to give up on my dream.
Thanks for all the work you guys do - you really are improving the future generation of esports players and even casuals
This means a lot to hear. Thank you for the support!
It's because I don't know how to think what to think, when to think how much to think etc...
Currently in 3k hours I have probably an accumalitive of half an hour of conscious thought!
you don't really consciously think while mid game 98% of the time its your sub conscious mind and you train your subconscious mind in order to get results
Same I have around 3k hours and feel braindead half the time 😂
The important part is to set goals and consciously take away lessons before and after the game. During the game, you can rely mostly on the unconscious mind.
@@eathletelabs very well said! I think this is a larger issue than people not knowing what to do. They're actively thinking about how to do what they should be doing. I've found that the less active thoughts during a game, the better the performance. Motor skills become effected greatly, as well as judgement. If a player is actively thinking hard about the ideas of shooting the enemy they aren't even focused on the actual physical enemy enough, and you'll be able to see their cross hair just no where near the target, yet they're firing rapidly.
Definitely a complicated and interesting subject. I've found that finding music that gets you into a happier, more confident, relaxed frame of mind helps me most. The right music I need to feel that can be different from each to each game, so I've made playlists from those moments I fell
Into to the flow of the song and popped off. It seems like you play to the beat of the song.
Im going to be a pro fortnite player and qualify for World Cup thank you for everything I watched all your videos can’t wait to shout you out
That's exciting, I'm glad we can help you on your journey! :)
Gl dude
Good luck!
It's actually the opposite for me... I get worse the more I play the game... I start out good and then my skill level just goes down into the deepest pit of hell after like a day or two of playing... I don't know why but no matter how much I practice and learn new stuff I can never seem to get better after the inital decline in my skill after starting the game.
Facts bro real shit
And then when you stop playing the game for like a month and comeback to it, you are good all of a sudden for a couple of days, and then become dogwater at it again causing you to quit.
@@redcon1425 Exactly right
That happens me everytime i finally get good, its the only reason why i cant get to where i really should be, im convinced im just cursed with bad luck & bad genetics. Its a cycle. Spend months getting better, have 2-3 weeks where your doing as good as you should be, sudden drastic skill drop, do terrible for a month, start getting better over a month, 2-3 weeks doing good, skill loss. Happened me over 10 times this year & over 100 since i started playing fps games. It even happens irl too & i dropped sports cus of it im so sick of this bs. its gotten so bad that i now have a huge hatred towards anyone who is better than me even if i do the activity or not, i should be better than pretty much everyone in existence right now. I dropped “friends” just for being better than me in someway, they are now my enemy, if i even lose a match i either send them hateful messages or just block them instantly
