Ev. Ah thanks for your reply! I'm a big believer in the traditions of a country being far more important than my own faith, so I would definitely not wear any outwardly Islamic clothing, in the hope that I look approachable and can meet some great locals!
Good grief, the incredibly tasty food, the scenery, the atmosphere, the lovely German ladies.... I am so there! 😁 PS: Mark, you've got an adorable family! Best of luck my friend, keep posting interesting videos! 👍
Mark, I loved it when you said "let's take a bite of this part without the egg." Like you were inviting us to taste it with you when you said "let's". Boy I wish that was possible!! 💙
I spent 8 years in Germany with the army!! I really really miss the food!! Have tried many so called authentic German food restaurants!! They just don't compare to the real deal!!
thats because they try to be authentic german restaurants while USING only american ingredients and resources. they dont order their stuff from half around the globe. if they did that it would taste like the real deal but also cost 3 times as much.
Yes Larry I spent 13 years there in the Army, and I find the same but thanks to Lidl and Aldi I can get bratwurst. There is a fact that depending on which part of Germany you are in these foods taste differently.
In Germany we basicly add oil, jougurt, cream, vinegar or stock to anything you could think of, and call it a salad. 😅 ...legit Like srly we have: sausage salad, meat salad, potato salad, herring salad, fruit salad and nudel salad.
This video describes perfectly why I really like to travel in Germany. Of course they have techno raves in Berlin and what not, but the food and the good ambience are the reasons why I love Germany.
Mark Wiens must try "Rinderrouladen" it consist of bacon, onions , mustard and pickles wrapped in thinly sliced beef , its a German Austrian speciality here in Germany . German food is less spicy or not at all spicy therefore you are not giving those happy expressions :)
My bavarian thoughts to the Schnitzel: You ate Schnitzel wiener art, a real Wiener Schnitzel contains veal instead of pork and normally they serve a sort of cranberry jelly. But the Schnitzel looked good nontheless :)
I am killing for those Schnitzel. I living in Bangkok for 4 years. Many "German places" here but they cant reach the taste of what Mark just showed us. Was looking forward to see those German Videos for so long. Thanks Mark. And do not forget to hit me up for the Seafood place in Nonthaburi, I told you about before!
Thom: do you have any suggestion for the best German place here in bkk? They might not reach the taste but it will probably do the trick for me since I haven't had any for years and years.
Hi, I love your video's. I was in Germany back in the 1970's and I miss the Schnitzel. I had 2 kids born there but they don't remember. my husband was stationed there and I got to travel with him. I loved trying all the foods there. I even tried to learn German but I got lucky cause some germans spoke spanish and english. My husband would get upset with me cause he only spoke english and when some germans found out I spoke spanish, they would speak to me in spanish so they would'n forget it.
Schnitzels have got to be the easiest thing to make. Just take some pork, pound it out really thin, flour it, dip it in eggs then seasoned breadcrumbs, shallow fry it and you’re good to go!
currywusrst with the fries and greasy mayo is so good!! I live close to the German border, in The Netherlands and I eat that a few times a year. So good!
That knife though. What a beauty. Sings in your hand and gleams with every slice. I wouldn't have noticed such a piece if you didn't say about it. Knives are such a unique elegant pieces of work. I enjoy a nice sharp blade. Wish I would have kept mine artifact. Anyway. Goodbye rumpitt.
adriennab _ haha! Filipinos love eating thats why we love Mark and his family ❤ been to so many places just by watching your videos Mark. You never failed to make me feel hungry 😂
to be fair, all the dishes he tried were pretty safe choices. I would recommend every single one of them and I think most people would actually like them. There are certainly more risky German dishes out there.
Hello Marc! Great to see how you enjoy the German food! In case you visit Munich again, I can highly recommend you two places! 1. A great cake store called Maelu in the city center of Munich. 2. The traditional restaurant and brewery Erdinger Weißbräu In Erding (a small city very close to Munich)
Someone who has travelled the whole world for amazing food has no reason to go to the restaurant "Erdinger Weißbräu". The food there is cooked somewhere else in a big kitchen and just reheated. Right for tourists. Thats not what i call "traditional". There are a lot of better restaurants in and around Erding, when you wanna eat bavarian cuisine.

Ev. Ah thanks for your reply! I'm a big believer in the traditions of a country being far more important than my own faith, so I would definitely not wear any outwardly Islamic clothing, in the hope that I look approachable and can meet some great locals!
germany has many indians so dont worry, its all about respect anyway, if you respect us we respect you, simple
Good grief, the incredibly tasty food, the scenery, the atmosphere, the lovely German ladies.... I am so there! 😁 PS: Mark, you've got an adorable family! Best of luck my friend, keep posting interesting videos! 👍
🇮🇹🇵🇭 thank You for letting us see every places you visit around the world .. God Bless you abd Take care always
Its tuesday midnight and i opened a beer while watching this.. being german is awesome :D
3:20 me trying to cut my food when i'm high lol

so happy to see you in my hometown!!!!
German heritage here love to see you visiting your half side! Last name is Vetter!
Hi from Germany. Do u know what vetter means
Mark, I loved it when you said "let's take a bite of this part without the egg." Like you were inviting us to taste it with you when you said "let's". Boy I wish that was possible!! 💙
Thank you Rei!
Mark Wiens came in pakistan plzzzss....
When you ate that schnitzel i simultanously recalled just how it tastes just by watching! I love german food!
Larry Johnston I'll be stationed in Stuttgart this August. 😊
@@OrthodoxSr so wollen wir euch sehen!!!:D
@Jasmin Hamzic Bless your soul Jasmin :-)
I love how crazy enthusiastic you are about every dish you try Mark 😆
Fake. He's not geniune.
@@b.a.b7834 Thanks for your point of view.
In Germany even the salads are sausage.

In Germany we basicly add oil, jougurt, cream, vinegar or stock to anything you could think of, and call it a salad. 😅 ...legit
Like srly we have: sausage salad, meat salad, potato salad, herring salad, fruit salad and nudel salad.
Literal Vampire Potbellied Goblin hhhhhhhhh it is really like that
If you're not talking sausage we don't wanna talk
Only in south Germany. But in North its more seafood style
The experiences that u share are very valuable specially for food lovers
This video describes perfectly why I really like to travel in Germany. Of course they have techno raves in Berlin and what not, but the food and the good ambience are the reasons why I love Germany.
12:35 the boy in the background. 😂
Mark Wiens must try "Rinderrouladen" it consist of bacon, onions , mustard and pickles wrapped in thinly sliced beef , its a German Austrian speciality here in Germany .
German food is less spicy or not at all spicy therefore you are not giving those happy expressions :)
Or the Saxony version with pork instead of Beef. but i prefer the beeef one.
@@AtheistDD yess
Germany seems to be really beautiful.
Great video Mark, loving it!
My bavarian thoughts to the Schnitzel: You ate Schnitzel wiener art, a real Wiener Schnitzel contains veal instead of pork and normally they serve a sort of cranberry jelly. But the Schnitzel looked good nontheless :)
Delicious food! I like german Rouladen and pastries like Berliner and Plunderteig!
When I was in Germany I was in the army in the 80's I was 165 pounds when I left I was 180 lol! Loved the history and food! Food lol
Naturally, all sorts of organ meat, processed meat and fried stuffs in butter
@bruceownsu How do you mean that?
I am killing for those Schnitzel. I living in Bangkok for 4 years. Many "German places" here but they cant reach the taste of what Mark just showed us. Was looking forward to see those German Videos for so long. Thanks Mark. And do not forget to hit me up for the Seafood place in Nonthaburi, I told you about before!
Thank you very much Thom!
Thom: do you have any suggestion for the best German place here in bkk? They might not reach the taste but it will probably do the trick for me since I haven't had any for years and years.

Just as Olli said: Otto at Soi 20.

Mark, please keep up the good work! Love it all! :) you are the man

Ich Liebe München! Sehr gutes Video!
I LOVE Munich! Very good video 😎
Wow you were really in Germany?
currywusrst with the fries and greasy mayo is so good!! I live close to the German border, in The Netherlands and I eat that a few times a year. So good!
You are always so happy Mark its amazing
That knife though. What a beauty. Sings in your hand and gleams with every slice. I wouldn't have noticed such a piece if you didn't say about it. Knives are such a unique elegant pieces of work. I enjoy a nice sharp blade. Wish I would have kept mine artifact. Anyway. Goodbye rumpitt.

am the only one to see Marks video for his facial reactions & "ohh yeaa"? (looks like he's getting intoxicated just eating)
Did someone notice. He liked everything! XD I'm sure if he chewed on that paper plate he would still say "Mmmmhmmm that plate was amazing!" XD XD XD
😅😅
to be fair, all the dishes he tried were pretty safe choices. I would recommend every single one of them and I think most people would actually like them.
There are certainly more risky German dishes out there.
Mark I like your smile. It's your

And don't forget: Wer einem eine Bratwurst brät, braucht ein Bratwurstbratgerät.
Mica is so adorable❤❤❤ be a good boy like ur mom and dad. Nice family 👪
I could watch this all day and I wouldn't get bored, at all!
The Germans love their beer 🍻
Sleepy Gaming of course 🍻💚
