I think sableye is like a disruption support. The goal isn't to buff your team but to debuff the enemy

The outfit is super cute. Shame I can't afford it. Got my coins saved up though for the day he's purchasable with them.
The start of the 2nd match made me realise how you could thief through enemy stacker when arriving to the lane to skip their first stack. In that case zorua had 6 energy so it would have gone to 1, but in case someone comes to stack with the usual 4, that's a cool move to screw with them.
do you know if confuse ray cancels hyper beam charge etc as well as its interaction with hyper voice?
This thing is frickin broken, just got out of my veteran game with a sableye on the enemy team getting 18 kills, and as a decidueye seeing a little shadow creature popping up out of nowhere and disappearing into the bushes was heart wrenching
We miraculously won due to my zapdos steal, but our team had no idea how to counter the Sable eye since his kit is complicated
It's so fun being able to just steal energy, disappearing, then reappearing to score. I'm regularly the highest scorer just because I can just walk over there and drop it in.
This is why I refrain from playing ranked until sableye is available to buy with coins
the only "counter" i can think of as decidueye is using shadow sneak, it wont reveal him but at least you'll know where he might be.

Teemo doesnt have a silence, Teemo has a blind, the pokémon that has a blind in unite is eldegoss
Its like a mix of Teemo Shaco & Renata Glasc depending on moveset

for anyone out there who needs the translation: silenced is being unable to cast moves. Blind is like what Eldegoss does making opponents miss auto attacks with Leaf Tornado+ (once it reaches lv 11).
If you are a Buzzwole and all your moves constantly get canceled, that's just called a regular day on Unite.
Really does seem like Sableye is an honorary speedster with how fast it can dip in and out of fights. Could be another Pokémon that can shake things up in Unite.
Just wanted to comment here. Been playing some games with sableye and the lil gremlins just way too much fun! Sneak attack & confuse ray is totally the way to go. I did do one game that was accidental w/ knock off & confuse ray which does kinda work a bit. Knock off works well when you boosted attack into it to get the fun knock up and knock back.

Sableye is just so FUN. This is the first release in a long time that's felt good to play on day one

I was streaming Sableye last night and good lord he does SO MUCH dmg!! The anti stack is actually hilarious early game and after trying a few different builds I came to the exact same conclusion that Shadow Sneak / Confuse Ray feels like THE build. Couldn’t quite figure out the other set up but give it time and I’m sure someone will figure it out.
All in all, Money Stitch is fantastic and definitely worth the buy in my eyes!

Wow is atk weight really this good on it? Don’t know anything about it yet and haven’t tried it but I was gonna try cookie, float stone and exp share, is that even worth?
The other move say u can leave those balls on the ground and it reveals I think it works like sentry ward for smite so where ever u place it u see the enemy in that area idk if your whole team can but you should at less that how I’m thinking it works so if your down below grabbing objective down there but u have orbs on the other objective u can see any enemies that go near it
Attack weight, Aeos Cookie and Razor Claw with 6 orange 4 white. This build has given me crazy results
I like the double stack and score shield since i spend so much time just dropping points in. That extra second saves you so often. But i don't focus on fighting that often.
Ah the trolls are gonna go wild with this one. Imagine having low health and walking towards your goal zone to heal, and this lil dude just pops out of nowhere to KO you and score in your face.
I actually run left overs , you get double healing with stealth it’s pretty awesome

I like to play Float/Att weight/Leftovers/X speed. In and out, trolling, annoying and healing in between 😁
I'm just as excited as you are! My word of advice: don't use leftovers, his invisibility already does that, and leftovers are bad anyway. Also, X speed probs isn't as needed with gremlin since his invisibility basically does that too
yeah even after leftovers got buffed it's still ehh, *_BUT_* in the 1st game where spragels returned to base to heal, he wouldn't have needed that if he had leftovers. So, as jake and others always say, there is no right and wrong items. Whatever fits your playstyle is what you should go with.
@@theedd1366 Thanks! I do understand your logic, it makes sense. However, as someone commented after you, there's no right or wrong. I've tried several builds, all sorts of, and this is the one I prefer. Allows me to max troll whilst seriously disturbing the opponents and get away from almost anything. I like to overextend and drop out, healing to full hp with Sneak+/Leftovers in no time 🙂
My build is kinda weird, i run the score shield on top of double stacks. I focus so much on just racking up the score since it's so easy to just sneak over there and if they happen to catch me while I'm scoring, it gives me the extra second i need to bank a full 50.

I like knock off. It's like a pseudo-defense move since they can't score without their points. And confuse ray is great for trolling and helping you escape

If you were to confuse ray petal dance venasaur, would only the basic attacks deal damage or would the petal dance also do damage
yeah the petal dance too, same for mystical fire on sylveon and typo
I really like the “abandon your carry” supp build kinda like league of legends bard. I drop fake aos enrrgy near my base to help my teamate defend, and then I spend the whole game in their zone stealing farm and scoring small amount each time until I eventually destroy the goal zone. Only comming back to put more aos energy once in a while. I always end up being the one who scores the most and if i have a good defender or all rounder my bombs are enough to defend the base the whole game, they can never break it.
Does he recover hp from his passive? I thought you were running leftovers
Jake I would suggest this build for sableye! I have so much success and it's so fun!
Items: Amp/float/weight with EB
Emblems: 5 black 5 yellow with emphasis on flat speed (Still tweaking these as I'm not sure what the thresholds are for his speed. If you know can you let me know?)
Ive been running 7 yellows with some move speed thrown in, exp share, leftovers and float stone, just using all that move speed to come in, pinch points with knock off and using confuse ray to walk away with it all, literally snooping around looking for score opportunities in the dark.
Exp share helps me keep up in exp while i roam around, leftovers keeps me topped up while im moving between lanes, float stone helps a little with some attack but even more move speed, confuse ray is such a nice move to have so that i can still aid the team and not just grab points all game, its a fun playstyle!
Optimal? Maybe not
Effective though? Yes
Fun? Also yes

So I’ve been running a tankier Sableye with Knock off, Confuse Ray, and double stacks and it’s REALLY good for defending - particularly in the end game. The more offensive bulls are so crazy omo
I made a full crit build and have not yet lost mach although it is new mostly attack 2 speed and one sp def emlomes and 2 crit ones

If you score early in the game
does it improve your held items.
I usually try to level up for 3-4 mins & then go to take fights and score goals.
Its with specific items, the Aos Cookie, Attack Weight, and Special Attack Specs. It only goes up by six points though for each time you score
There are certain held items that boost your stats whenever you score. Doesn’t matter how many points you score. Just performing the scoring animation grants the stat boost.
Attack Weight increases attack for every scoring action.
Aoes Cookie increases health.
Special Attack Specs increases special attack.
These items can only give the boost a maximum of 6 times (aka 6 stacks) and they don’t come with any special effects like with Razor Claw or Shell Bell. But they provide the highest boost in stats of any item provided you can quickly get the 6 scoring attempts as quickly as possible.
It’s a really high risk high reward kind of playstyle which is why Spragels was so aggressive in trying to score a few points during the start of the match.
It’s for certain held items like the weight
There are 3 held items in the game that permanently increase one of your stats for the rest of the game every time you score. Those are Attack Weight, Sp.Atk Spec and Aeos Cookie which increases attack, special attack and Max HP respectively. These increases can stack up to 6 times and don't go away even when you die. Stacking basically means you have one or more of those items and are trying to some early scores so you can take the advantage of increased stats for the rest of the match.

The amount of time you are invisible I think it's a bit to much, could see it being nerfed in a future patch.

From what I've seen and tested, Sableye is very cooperation heavy, yes you can do good builds with him but he's just there for trolls, but I have found that the knockoff confusion combo works wonders, and to the same extent thief and shadow sneak work really well together
If you're solo queueing a good set of held items, or at least what I've found the most success with, are the score shield, exp share, and float stone, if you don't like using the float stone that's a shame cuz coupled with speed boosting emblems and an x speed you can pop back and forth between goals almost like a Hoopa
I think invade sableye might be an actual strat at either incredibly low levels of play or incredibly high levels of play

Charizard Main here! I had some fun today in Ranked and fought plenty of sableye. Despite how sneaky they could be, as soon as I had them in my sights they were done. Lol I’ll snag Sableye next week when the hype has died down a bit.
You can Confuse Ray Dura flash cannon. I got it to KO two of its allies twice in one game LOL

Wont be surprise if his invis is getting a nerf. Gengar was suppose to be the sneaking invis assassin but his unite move only last that long. Sableeye is simply way better at backdooring and the constant cc and burst
Once i confuse ray an outrage dragonite. It just beat the crap out of greninja beside him. The poor greninja was like “arrgh why me, why me?” and it fainted. I got the kill. Lol

Jake I just want to say that if Jungled Stone edge/Sand Tomb Tyranitar with Buddy, Focus, and Weakness is the best Pokémon in the game. You can easily do 100k damage with it and I think it would make for a very entertaining video.

I'm surprised no one hasn't noticed yet that Sableye is actually bugged. Even if the icon appears above your head he does not reveal himself at all even when you hard CC him. Honestly they should get a good reference off of League of Legends champion Evelyn how's Sableye should really work. I even use Sableye myself and even I know myself it's bugged.
If you're in range for long enough then you become visible.

@@ChinnuSped I was thinking cookie, score shield, buddy as a support/score heavy build. Spam his unite to keep teammates alive basically while score and cookie helps him tank up and force points in. Paired with the shield and extra HP from buddy you'd be able to basically shove points down the enemy's throat and almost always be ready to unite for the shield and stun. Paired with his stealth I could slink about some to turn a would be bad fight around out of nowhere.
