12:45 In Pokemon Unite, invincible implies untargetable. Moreover any move that targeted you while you were not invincible will not damage you if it hits while you are invincible. You take no AoE damage either. Invisible means invisible to the eye and untargetable, but while invisible you continue to receive damage from moves that targeted you before invisibility (like Icicle Spear/Electroball), moves that don't require target lock-on (like Solar Beam) and AoE moves.
Another cool tech you can do is to use agility during solarbeam to change your position. It’s kinda like how Delphox can move during her moves with flame charge. I thought it was a pretty cool way to use beam so that you’re not entirely stuck in place
Couple of stuff about mew... electro ball and agility is amazing once it's agility plus because every agility use lowers cooldown of a move too, so electro ball can be used every like 2 seconds, also when you switch your moves if you switch to a move you don't have one your moves cooldowns are back up. A good combo is light screen solarbeam then once both are used and your using your boosted atk then switch to different move like agility electro ball or agility surf, the boosted atk takes a second or two to launch its perfect timing to switch your over and keep doing damage
Hey Jake, I don't know if this is a "hidden mechanic", but you can cast Solarbeam and while it is charging up; you can quickly cast Light Screen in front of you. It will augment your Solarbeam, but this move pattern is much much less telegraphed. Solarbeam into Light Screen. Instead of, Light Screen into Solarbeam. I am no Mew expert. This is just something I found playing around in practice.
Thanks for this guide~ I needed to polish my usage of surf+agility in particular. Coaching can be such a good save for teammates. Not to mention it's great for Pokemon that rely on basic attacks. In certain situations you could even trade light screen for Coaching in early game but keep Solarbeam. If you end up with someone like Honedge or Scorbunny you can do some big damage with Beam and the Coaching buff lets your lane partner hit fast and hard to finish them off.
Speaking purely theoretically: you wouldn't want to coach a Honedge if he's in the thick of a fight. Teleporting to a melee Pokemon as a squishy ranged character would land you in trouble. Or maybe it works in practical and I am over-analysing...

jayce from lol called and asked: just how could you miss that lightscreen can be cast while already casting solar beam to increase the overall combospeed?
Based on my understanding: the damage done by the boosted auto changes depending on certain distance thresholds. This means, for example, if the boosted attack had to travel a maximum of 1 metre to reach the target, it does X amount of damage. More than 1 metre but atmost 3, it does X + 9% X damage. More than 3 but atmost 5, it does X + 9%X + 9% X damage (for each threshold, the damage of the boosted auto increases by 9% of the base damage). This also means that there is a last threshold, beyond which the damage stays constant. So let's say, beyond 5 metres, it will do X + 9% X + 9% X + 9% X damage. So it doesn't matter whether you are 6 metres away or shooting halfway across the map after taking a Hoopa portal -- the damage won't increase beyond a maximum value.
@@shubhamjohri290 What do you think about phantom force trick though? Would that be yourself moving by your own merit? To meet that last threshold at least
What would happen if mew uses a boosted basic attack on an enemy, then enters a hoopa portal before it attacks, then launches it? would that work? What would the damage be? It could be insane!
There is max range of mews boosted attack. It is around 2/3 from base to objective, so using hoopa teleport etc. Is basically only way to go over that limit.
Mew's boosted basic attack damage increases with distance traveled but surely there is a max. value to it. So no matter if you teleport away to main base, you can't exceed the max. damage value.

If you are stood by your spawn and lock your booster attack onto an enemy as they recall. Will the distance travelled be so big that the boosted can one shot the enemy in their own spawn?
Same range as pikachu electro ball it looks like so it will fizzle out after a certain distance approximately the distance from your base to blue buff or a bit farther

Mobile is a little harder in my opinion, I got used to the button combination since most of the moves match with their respect confirmation button. Solar/Screen X, Agile/Surf B, Coach/Ball Y. Just hold L and mash the buttons and you’ll normally get a decent move combo

My issue is I’m heavy handed, I ended up pressing down on the L stick too often. I wish there was a way to switch the input, honesty would make this mon soooo fluent for me
You can! I’m your switch setting you can change the button mapping for you controls. I had to do it since my control does not have a press down L stick so I switched it to be my L
You should do another held item tier list!
jayce from lol called and asked: just how could you miss that lightscreen can be cast while already casting solar beam to increase the overall combospeed?
that's also literally the first thing i tried in practice area when i got mew
Can you use the boosted then have a hoopa portal you to base and have the boosted do insane damage?
You should try Hoopa teleport with Mew's boosted hahaha
"guys, remember Zapdos?" - Jake 🤣🤣🤣
What would happen if mew uses a boosted basic attack on an enemy, then enters a hoopa portal before it attacks, then launches it? would that work? What would the damage be? It could be insane!
There is max range of mews boosted attack. It is around 2/3 from base to objective, so using hoopa teleport etc. Is basically only way to go over that limit.
Mew's boosted basic attack damage increases with distance traveled but surely there is a max. value to it. So no matter if you teleport away to main base, you can't exceed the max. damage value.

Finally a mew gameplay
🤠🤠
I just spent a whole match as bulbasur
WTF 😂😂😂
Word
Is choice specs with focus band and score shield good
Oh cool coching and solar beam
I have a question:
should I spend my coins on Mew, Scyther/Scizor, or save for Zororark??
I'm completely torn
I already unlock mew... But I just use it once when all the licenses were aviable...
mew is a lot of fun. has hard carried me a few times. I play mew as more of a support, with surf/electro ball.
with coaching.
Really wanna play coaching more.
@@spragels same. But atm, I am just not good at it using coaching. Few times I've used it. I've used it in my meele at right into the front line😅😂
If you are stood by your spawn and lock your booster attack onto an enemy as they recall. Will the distance travelled be so big that the boosted can one shot the enemy in their own spawn?
In Reddit seen a post, once we are away 35% of map distance, electroball and mew boosted attack disappears but glaceons moves work
Does anyone know if Mew gets Hoopa holed while using it's boosted does the damage scale much?
Same range as pikachu electro ball it looks like so it will fizzle out after a certain distance approximately the distance from your base to blue buff or a bit farther

Can you recommend me a build for Alolan Ninetales? I love the pokemon and how it is a ranged attacker but I get killed so easily..
Couldnt be happier with ny favorite pokemon. Although Decidueye (my favorite starter) is easier for me to use
How do you feel about float stone on mew?
Mew is so hard to get good with, I get shredded every game with him lmao
Any tips on improving how to switch between moves quicker? I tried button combos but couldn't get used to it, so I switched back to single button. Lowkey thinking of playing mobile for Mew specifically now
Right right for solar, down down for surf is the easiest thing rn
Mobile is a little harder in my opinion, I got used to the button combination since most of the moves match with their respect confirmation button. Solar/Screen X, Agile/Surf B, Coach/Ball Y. Just hold L and mash the buttons and you’ll normally get a decent move combo
Let's gooo
Woooooo
I play solo cue hoopa so I am loving mew
Curious. What if when mew channels up for its boosted attack and then hoopa sends mew home? One-hit KO?
Huge fan bro 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Thank you!
I’m proud to say I used all 6 moves last match. (I think Electro Ball is useless)
Whats more powerful.
Dragonites level 3 solar or Mew'?
I think Drangonites level 3 no?
how much damage can you do with your boosted on an ulting dodrio running away?
Does it still boost your attack if you pull it towards you? the lightscreen that is.
Yes
