You helped me go from 2 succulents to 100. Thanks!
One sentence that has never come out of my mouth... I have so many succulents idk what to do with them.
LOL...good one 😂
Ummm all buy some from ya lol!! ♥
sell them
Same LOL! I bought so many and they always die on me 😅🤦🏻♀️
I was just dumb and spent all my savings on 10000 seeds I’m so dumb
The second you said 31 days I quickly decided to just go buy some instead. Lol. Great video by the way.
but it’s 31 days for him because he’s in winter and depending on your season warmer weather doesn’t take that long
Lol
I had roots sprouting in 7 days :) It's now been 18 days, and I have loads of pups!
go for it, but i'd rather wait a month than have to pay 4-6 dollars for a plant your can easily propagate
It’s addicting! Can’t stop propagating!
Pleasant Prickles 😂
Pleasant Prickles same I like giving succulents as gifts to people
@@bellayourfella5504 thats what im going to do also!
I also can't stop propagating cactus cuttings either. More the merrier!
Same! Like drugs but not!
I have a stretchy succulent sitting by the window, and I've been looking for ways on how to cut and propagate the plant. Your video has been so enjoyable, relaxing, and informational to watch! - especially for someone like me who is starting to grow and take care of succulent plants. Thank you!
I dunno who screamed louder .. me or the mother plant when u were plucking them .. 😂😂
But ur video is super encouraging ... i m a newbie and i hope i can propagate as pro as you did!
Thanks!
it´s tough love, I don´t want to hurt the plants but propagating is the main reason for them to exist (for us too lol).. you´re essentially doing those plants the biggest favor by helping them pass down their genes ;)
I did the exact same thing. That pop when he pulls them off is like listening to someone break a bone to me. It makes me cringe.
Lmao I had the same struggle! I didn't want to break baby sukis leaves off 😢
Well, then I don't advise you to watch bonsai tutorials :-D
Us succulent addicts are a strange group! But somehow? We get each other!!
Greetings from Kentucky. Thank you for making this splendid E/I video. It is much appreciated!
I tried this and it's working! Thanks for the detailed video. I came back to find out how to put my new plant in soil since it sprouted so nicely.
Thanks for the tutorial, mine was successful! And it made me want to add more succulents and propagate them and make it a business
Best video I have found on the subject so far, I will definitely be giving it a try.
Very easy and straight forward. I made my first terrarium the other day and now I'm addicted! I've already started to propagate some leaves. It's only been a couple of days, but I can't wait for them to progress!! Sub'd.
One of the best propagation videos on You Tube. Thank you!!!!
Thank you so much for sharing this video, I can't wait to get started on my own propagation of succulents from leaves. Yes, it appears to be a slow process, but none the less satisfying to watch their progress.
Lynnette Davis I agree! I’m going to try this too.
Ooh I think I have a Jade plant. I wasn’t sure what my plant was until I saw this video! Thanks so much!
I just love your voice and your teachings. Thank you so much xxx
Wow, very impressed. I didn't know at all that the succulents sprout like this. Thank you for your kind information.
Great video. Thanks for showing the progress in one video.
Very informative.
your videos are more helpful than some of the "advanced" succulent growers on RUclips so far. great job mr. Khang!!!
I love the aloe! I couldn’t help but notice! It’s the one that’s in a corner in your garden bed.
Succulent Fame u to

I would ABSOLUTELY LOVE to take ANY succulents off your hands!! I'm trying to start a succulent garden, but they are very expensive for even a small plant where I live, and my budget is small, lol. Love your Videos!! Thank You for all advice!!

They are also totally unkillable. I planted a bunch around my mailbox. Usually everything dies there without daily watering. I watered them after planting then left them alone (just rain) and they are going nuts. Succulents DGAF ;)
Dan Hughes well they might be unkillable but I over water what I do take them out soil feel it itf it feel dry water it like cactus but they like it more drier I'm a beginner with the succulents but cactus I kill a lot in the past
ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?
I’ve killed like 4 or 5. I TRY to keep them alive. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. They thrive for weeks then suddenly they start dying. They all seem to die the same.
Lol I’ve killed so many. I killed them while trying to figure out the best ways to propagate them. I have also made many mistakes during my propagation journey (that killed them). But now I know about how not kill them so I won’t be making the same mistakes ever again.
Killing them is ok as long as you learn never to make the same mistake again.
Dan Hughes ł
Succulents are like cacti, they only need watering like 1-4 times a week. Dont water them daily with a can and spray water or at least something that doesnt give too much water. Just a question, do you live somewhere with a decent amount of sunlight everyday? Succulents need at least 6 hours or over sunlight.
Wow..lots of succulents. A nice video...simple and cool. Wonderful to see the propagation of new plants from the leaves.
No soil?!That's amazing! Im going to start with even more leaves now! I'm just starting on my succulent journey and I think I got good guidance with this video, Thank you for sharing
Great video! Thank you very much, I always fail on planting these kind of plan. I will try like this
Never tried succulents. Thank you for the information. Love the jade plant.
There are so many beautiful varieties, I highly recommend you giving them a shot!
😂😂😂😂 the harder and more I try to propigate, the more rotten leaves I watch shrivel. What the heck 😭
omg me too!!! i tried many many times
Water them more if they look dry. Don’t water them too much though.
Try letting the leaves callous first. Basically pull leaves from the plant and leave to dry for 3 to 5 days, once a callous has formed, place in cactus soil and mist occasionally
Kristal Talaski ugh same. what's the opposite of a green thumb? that's what I have. it's embarrassing 😭
NakedAndLaughing yeah, "black thumb" seems accurate 😢 i tried to propagate like eight leaves from my Jade plant and they all rotted
i have watched a ton of propagating vids and this may have been the most helpful! no soil... who would have thought? 😍😍
Thanks! Great timing, I needed this information.
Very good video. I like how it takes you from beginning to end showing the stages of growth. 👍👌😊
microwave the soil OMG! brilliant!!! wonderful vid thanks
Such an excellent tip, not sure why I didn’t think of it!
I didn’t watch that far into the video, does it like irradiate the soil or something? 😬🤣
It sterilises the soil by cooking any insect eggs, seeds, and bacteria
I would dry it out before microwaving, otherwise it would smell!
Afterwards, when you’re cultivating the plants, they seem to prefer a little moisture but not too much or they rot out
Such a great video! Thank you
That's pretty cool. Thx for sharing this.
Khang starr every time you say "I'm gonna have so many" I'm saying to myself here I'm I want some 🙋♀️😆
Great video and so informative. Really enjoyed it looking forward to doing it right this time. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for this video, I haven't plant any this will be my first. I'll try. This at home, see if my hand will be able to do this succulent plant
Thanks so much! I see this video was made 4 years ago yet it's just what I need today. Tried to do this and didn't see any development of the leaves and through them out but it had only been 5 days so I appreciate the detail in this video. I probably did not leave it long enough to see the growth.
What plants grow in 5 days? Lol I wish!
I love this!!!! Thank you friend

Interesting. Never thought to propagate without soil. I also thought water on the leaves were a no no but obviously when done right it can work. I’m excited to try it. I have about 50 burro’s tail petals I’m working on propagating.
I’m having a go at propagating a succulent for the first time it looks so cool. I will be documenting the progress on my channel. Wish me luck!
