      it´s tough love, I don´t want to hurt the plants but propagating is the main reason for them to exist (for us too lol).. you´re essentially doing those plants the biggest favor by helping them pass down their genes ;)

    They are also totally unkillable. I planted a bunch around my mailbox. Usually everything dies there without daily watering. I watered them after planting then left them alone (just rain) and they are going nuts. Succulents DGAF ;)

    • @yeahyeahyeah2935
      @yeahyeahyeah2935 5 лет назад +18

      ARE YOU SURE ABOUT THAT?
      I’ve killed like 4 or 5. I TRY to keep them alive. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. They thrive for weeks then suddenly they start dying. They all seem to die the same.

    • @aj6338
      @aj6338 5 лет назад +6

      Lol I’ve killed so many. I killed them while trying to figure out the best ways to propagate them. I have also made many mistakes during my propagation journey (that killed them). But now I know about how not kill them so I won’t be making the same mistakes ever again.
      Killing them is ok as long as you learn never to make the same mistake again.

      Succulents are like cacti, they only need watering like 1-4 times a week. Dont water them daily with a can and spray water or at least something that doesnt give too much water. Just a question, do you live somewhere with a decent amount of sunlight everyday? Succulents need at least 6 hours or over sunlight.

      Try letting the leaves callous first. Basically pull leaves from the plant and leave to dry for 3 to 5 days, once a callous has formed, place in cactus soil and mist occasionally

    • @jayphoenix3756

      It sterilises the soil by cooking any insect eggs, seeds, and bacteria

    • @jayphoenix3756
      @jayphoenix3756 4 года назад +1

      I would dry it out before microwaving, otherwise it would smell!
      Afterwards, when you’re cultivating the plants, they seem to prefer a little moisture but not too much or they rot out
