Relatively rare?????????? Are you having a laugh?????? The house house I grew up in on Eccleston Avenue, Bromborough is directly under the flight path approach to what was Speak and is now known as John Lennon Airport. This flight path is used many times daily by the likes of Easy Jet and other large aircraft. Wherever you got your information from is incorrect!
Hi thanks for watching. Speke airport can either use runway 09 or 27. With the prevailing winds Being Westerly, it is much more likely to land on runway 27 which is landing over Runcorn. Making it less likely to land over the wirral. 30% over the wirral and 70% of landing over Runcorn. Making it rarer to land over the Wirral. Of course the opposite is true for take offs. But this video was just about a landing. Maybe a bit extreme for me to say rare, but rarer is certainly true. Hope this clears things up.
great video, really shows the geography of the Wirral. commentary spot on. thanks
Fabulous video! I live in sw Ireland but love to visit the Wirral.
1.50 circle is Thingwall reservoir I think. Great video.
That is fabulous. You thought about getting a drone to do some vids of Wirral Andy? So interesting from up above.
