I was born & brought up on The Wirral but live in Preston now. I forget how beautiful it actually is there so thankyou for this.. and the music just added another layer to it. Wonderful!
Fantastic Nic we love it round there so good.Could you do the coast from Crosby the iron men up to Formby .Now Liverpool stadium is completed. There’s loads of places you can do .So that should keep you busy.Thank You Nic .💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🤶🤶🤶🤶🤶🤶🤶🤶☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️☮️
I lived in Parkgate for 23 years, great place to live and grow up. I lived behind the Parkgate hotel which has now gone. Posh houses now. Cheers for the video
I’m loving that Nick 👏🏼😍Top quality video that. Even though I live in Wirral, and take our dog for lovely walks around it, I honestly think it’s a lovely place to live. Liverpool one way, Chester another, North Wales the other. Spoilt for choice! I thought you were a Scouser for some reason.
Been watching your videos for a while, keep up the good work. I'm sure I saw you walking on the overchurch the other week but wasn't sure was gonna say hello 😊
Hoylake is where the River Dee meets the Irish sea so we are surrounded by two rivers and a sea! I think lol Wirral is such a special place, my favourite 😂😊
Thankyou for this great content. Combined with the beautiful music this piece was a joy to watch. My folks left Oxton age 12, taking us to Oswestry. I’m in Australia now but this place will always be home.. x
Great footage Nick loved the shots of New Brighton along with Fort Perch Rock and lighthouse brought back great memories played there as a kid back in the 50's and 60's 😊
Great video, some of my favourite places to fly my drone. I've been wanting to do a video right around the Wirral peninsula, start at Eastham, head up along the coast towards New Brighton, then on to West Kirby and end up at Park gate. I wonder how many separate flights I'd have to do?! 😂
Hi Nick Great video, amazing to see the coastline from above , and how much coastal erosion has taken place at Thurstaston Beach / cliffs between Shore Cottage and The Dee Sailing Club, since this video was shot. Would be great if you do another video to compare between then and present day. Keep up the good work
Great video. Thanks. I live in North Wales and I have a drone and a drone licence. I check on drone exclusion zones using the No Fly Drones website and I've noticed that a drone exclusion zone appears to have appeared over the whole of the Wirral Peninsula, where I was brought up, as it happens. What is that? Are you allowed to make your videos over the Wirral any more?
I've just checked No Fly Drones. That site gives details on places where you shouldn't fly (aerodromes/restricted zones/danger zones) but it also offers the general public the opportunity to draw on a map where they'd like to request a voluntary 'no fly zone'. I think the idea is to draw around your individual property (fair enough), not an entire geographical location as some bright spark has done. You'll notice on the website Wirral has a block of light blue over it - this is simply a request from an individual and has no official standing (as far as I can tell and that is what the website says itself). Happy droning 🙂
Fantastic Video, as always Nick. How do people leave that Hilbre Island. is there a pick up for them to get to where they need to go. I've seen parts of the wirral, i've never seen before, thanks to your Video 👏

I’m from on the Wirral but live in Ireland now….
I spent the early part of my life on the nocky but you didn’t show that 🤣
Used to visit New Brighton, Hoylake, West Kirby, Heswall, Thurstaston and Parkgate as a child in the 1950s and 60s. Happy days. 😊

Great video 👍
Great footage. Particularly liked the shot of Hilbre Island and Leasiwe Lighthouse
What a fantastic video, amazing footage. 👍
Wish I'd gone there for a holiday before I became a cripple 😢 so glad there's videos like this to virtually take me there, very well done too 👍
Kick ass shots Mr D!

2:45 @shiphappens Sarinda takes a starring role here I see :-D great footage
Interesting to see how far up that channel Sarinda is on this video, sometimes don’t appreciate it on their videos.

Hi Rory, there is 100% no flight restriction zone over the Wirral
There is a height restriction in Eastham , as it is in the flight path of Liverpool airport.

I've never seen the wirral [new Brighton] look so peaceful...
Was that a snide comment about Liverpool.
"How can I put this nicely "
