In the entire history of rock or pop or whatever you wish to call it there's never been anyone like Eric Stewart when it comes to singing a hit song and sounding just as good live whether he's singing it 5, 10, 15 or 30 years later. Completely unheard of.

I agree. The layered voices is still amazing to listen to with headphones. But Eric still sounds pretty cool after all the years from doing the original…until the time of this show. And his accident, too. But, of course, that 70’s recording was a raising the bar moment in music history. Look at all the musical talent they had in that band that continued to push the boundaries. Godley and Lol in amazing music videos too. I still rock “Cry” on several playlists of mine. Growing up in the 70’s and 80’s was a blessing to my ears 🎼🎶🎵🤘🏾🔥
No, Eric has only been seen in public wearing sunglasses ever since the dreadful car incident in 1979 that nearly killed him and left him scarred him for life (one eye is badly damaged)..................

most daw's could have done the same.. or even the akai sampler loaded up.. I went to a studio once.. and the producer had 11 of them in a rack £22k.. barmy.. now you can do that in a laptop

no matter what eric will always be one of my favorite vocalist, great voice, but yes i can see that could put a damper in your life outlook, eric stewart if you read this you are badd ass and theoriginal 10cc were the best. eric you are one in a million talented artist i put you up there with sir paul mccartney,great job. sincerely rod aspen

Yeah, it shows. Eric and Graham weren't in agreement with just about everything at that point, and the disastrous 'Mirror Mirror' release where the two barely said a word to each other in the studio was the final nail. Very sad.
Eric Stewart owns that song. Simply beautiful today as it was 45 years ago.
