Mann, you break down how to put this ej25 back together. I love it. I'm getting all my parts for my ej22, and once I do, I'll be doing my rebuild. I'm want new rods, pistons, everything new. I dont want any issuesfor awhile. I'm excited to rebuild my subaru engine.

Dude, I am doing this engine for the first time in my life. I have gotten the engine all the way down to splitting it, but am feeling a bit intimidated by it all. Everything's going okay so far. You make it look so easy, and hopefully this video will get me up and running. I am planning on putting the original pistons in from the cylinders they came out of. Question... I did not set the timing before i disassembled the engine. Shouldn't I be able to turn everything to the timing marks, or as close as possible before head install?

Yes, that’s fine. If you get stuck give me a holler. Good luck

@@Motorcarnut Adjusted valve lash off engine when the cams were tenstion free, and just used some zip ties etc on the cam wheels to hold the belt and aligned marks. Put engine back in and runs great.
