I was able to get this for a good price at Target, just waiting on it. Have the Diamond Select and Toybiz one, which is smaller. The Diamond Select is definitely the better of those two
Wow this one is way better..never knew it came out...very nice to see..the old cape on the ToyBiz figure you can hang it from those shoulder spikes..but yeah the wires in the cape! thats a great addition, havent seen that for a while..the metal finish looks brilliant..would love one of these but yeah...$$.. my batteries lasted for 20 years with the ToyBiz one..cheers DD..🍺🍺🍻 SI FI
For the price of the Diamond Select BAF, I prefer buying this one, and I like the proportions of the Beast Kingdom better too. Great Review, I was hoping to someone upload this, Can't wait for mine.
@@derrickorourke8454 Eventually when I get around to it, a gold Gundam paint marker should do the trick but I'd imagine the paints used for Warhammer models would work well too
@@DarthDeuces Ahh thanks! I just saw this on BBTS and I pre-ordered it and glad I did since it got sold out this morning. I have been looking for a Sauron figure since i missed out before.
I don't get why they didn't paint the One Ring and it's a shame it can't hold the mace properly tight. Considering what Beast Kingdom charges for their DAH figures they mostly feel like "half cooked" figures.
Agreed. The loose grip doesn't bother me too much, but not painting the ring is so odd, it would've taken so little paint to do I don't know why they didn't.
I forever love the Toybiz version though. Got it when it first came out, still have it somewhere in my garage.
@@TreeFiddyProductions-tk3ko It's still a really good figure, especially considering its age!

Thanks man! Toybiz still is a really solid figure, especially for the age.

@@mariogl5381 Agreed! Thanks for watching!
I read on other reviews that this figure has some parts that are not plastic, and are made of some kind of cork? is it true?
If there is cork on this figure, I have no idea what pieces they would be. Feels like all plastic to me.
@@DarthDeuces that's good to know, thanks for answering, that was the only thing preventing me from getting it
What type of paint are you going to use for the ring?

@@DarthDeuces cool thanks man. I’m tempted by it but the ring is a nuisance
@@derrickorourke8454 Yeah understandable, no excuse for them not painting the ring but otherwise it is a pretty awesome figure
Is the cloth removable?
@@ChrisM29 Maybe if you heated up the shoulders and removed the arms and shoulder armor but I wouldn't recommend it

@@ChrisM29 Nice! I definitely think this is currently the best option out there.
