Ok, I'm a sunset person. Where does the sun set?
That's where I'd want my porch.
Ideally, I'd want my porch looking over the lake to the sunset.

Sun always sets in the west ;) Lol, for perspective, looking out the window on this lot, sun would set on the left and rise from the east (view faces north). Hope that helps!
