I hope they go a sort of dc route where the virus is derivative of some higher power, not necessarily a “being” but like, a force of nature type thing that always claws its way back. It made the watched interfere and that hadn’t stopped it. It’s a multiverse threat

Ok, so, Miguel is immune, but why Peter got infected since he’s pretty much the same thing. That’s confusing. Marvel needs better writers in the room, what’s up with this. Their zombie stories are too damn short and this one has the potential to be something way cooler.
You do realize the methods in which Miguel and Peter got their powers is entirely different. Miguels power was obtained artificially from a highly advanced machine, so of course the spider genes are gonna be way stronger than the radioactive Spider from 80 years ago.
I'll be honest and maybe this is only my point of view. But after listening to the entire spiderman 2099 series. With it's corporate overloads, the strange religions, and the crazies spiderman has fought. I can see it being extremely believable that some random crazy person biting other people and there not being a panic about zombies. Like this specific universe is the easiest for a zombies out real to occured than any other universe.
It’s never really covered in these scenarios where it claimes the zombies are “completely immortal” like for example it could be just a head remaining and it can still talk, but I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t be alive if that head were to be literally torn apart like put into a meat grinder (I know I’m somewhat comparing immortality to invulnerability but they tend to mix the claim of such in this kind of media)

There’s sadly not too many of them but each time they drop, they are bangers. I’d checkout the 2099 runs of Spider-Man and Punisher from the 90s. They are both great. This series I covered in this video is brand new so I’d check those out too. I’ll do a video of the next issue!
