Freakin funny how Marvel didn’t allow Universal to use Marvel characters at HHN anymore, but then Six Flags brings Suicide Squad to Fright Fest, then Disney uses Zombie Captain America during Boo Bash at California Adventure and then Warner Bros Movie World makes this maze, crazy - how Marvel didn’t want any scary stuff at a Halloween event with their characters in a scare zone and haunted house. and yet, years later, Marvel allows Disney to put Zombie Captain America at Disneyland, and DC has a freaking maze with their heroes getting infected by zombies, oh - how times have changed.
I’m eternally bummed about that. Absolute carnage sounded so awesome
It's especially bizarre considering A) it was before Disney bought Marvel that they had the problem and B) the maze was based off a comic book they themselves made.
@@GamerKonata well the thing is they decided not to do it after the first time because they were freak out about kids seeing dead superheroes. No joke. Still dumb tho, the same kids are probably just as familiar with the constant return of heroes like the adults are.
@@GamerKonataI mean yes, Marvel wrote the Maximum Carnage storyline, but the house wasn't based on the story. In the house, Carnage and his band of villains had killed off the heroes. (It was more like the Old Man Logan premise.) And Marvel didn't want kids to think the heroes were dead. The other part of the problem was, Universal didn't ask Marvel... they just did it.
It's the closest Universal Orlando has come to losing their rights to Marvel. And once Disney bought the House of Ideas, UO had to start being extra careful because we all know the Mouse would love to get those rights back.
If dc decided to make a live action DCeased movie. Then this is what it would be like.
