- Playing Black Sabbath Die Young from Heaven and Hell (1980) with Dio. Tabs in the video, however the lead tab will be missing some notes on the scale in the fast parts, found it too hard to squeeze everything in there.
One of my favourite songs of all time. Gets me into a different zone. It's a spike in dopamine

What makes this song hard to play is not the riffs or the fills..Tony was making this music when Van Halen was being discovered and every teen ager player was learning how to "shred".. I should know ..I was one of them ..Any way He was trying to be as fast as possible and to cram up as many notes as [possible ,hence the many dubs ( trends --they come and go....even the riff maister falls under the pressure ).. You sir , did a fantastic job !! Stay safe !!
Listen to live footage the Technical Ecstacy tour. Iommi was shredding like an animal. Van Halen was tapping. That's what everyone wanted to do. Including you, in sure. Also listen to Live at Last bootleg little impromptu jazz piece they play. Iommi is lighting up the fretboard!

Very cool! I was going to say, that's a tough one to tackle right off the bat but I'm one to talk as I made it my mission to (one day) pull off a tube cover of Neon Knights, itself a bit of a fandangler if you're not 100% focused. (I'm doing pretty good until the explosive solo, so now I'm returning to learning the classic one to Paranoid simply to whet my beak.)
the last solo it's the hardest , 3:44-4:38 ... I have searched for years for a cover or guitar lesson . fomr this 1980 Die Young .. Thank you !!1 If ther e is anyone who can help me with a guitar lesson - video ... I will be very very ,VERY thankful..:) All the best !
Maybe you should record the solos apart because they are the hardest parts of the song and they dont sound enough clear. I'll aprrciate it too much
Awesome! I'm also really digging your Curse of The Pharaohs cover. (Don't feel bad about not transcribing the whole song here, right now I'd be thrilled simply to pull off the main crushing riff which comes in shortly after the intro soloing. 😇)

Why don't you play the soli with the rythm guitar. Iommi does it ver well and he is the one and only guitarist.. Anyway thanks for thios very good upload. Thumbs up!
Are you sure about that? Kind of hard to play 2 different parts like that at the same time. Geoff Nichols who played the keyboard parts also doubled the guitar parts live off stage live from what I've read.
